Great company. No hard sales tactics.  reasonable prices and great service.  We called in John Moore first, and felt like we were getting sold a bunch of BS and moreover that they were maybe selling us something we did not need.  So then we called Madd Air in for a second opinion and comparison.  This is a great company, good prices, great service.  Got our new AC within days, plus they did extra work - on the ducts and the dryer -for no extra charge.  They also maintain the units for a low yearly price.  Use this company - you won't be disappointed and you won't get ripped off.

Everything went great from start to finish.  I called to schedule someone to come out and within 2 hours Charlie arrived and was working on the AC.  He found the problem, repaired the damage and had everything up and running in about an hour.  After he fixed the motor for the blower, he checked out the rest of my system and gave me some good information on keeping it going.  Our AC is old, and it was 102 degrees outside when it stopped working.  Charlie easily could have told me the system was shot and I would have had it replaced.  I really appreciated his honesty and the time he took to fix the unit and check everything else out.  I would highly recommend Madd Air to anyone with a Heating/Cooling problem.

      The service call went really well and the technician was able to determine that the coils had frozen as a result of low refrigerant. Since the coils were frozen, we were unable to find out where the leak was so the technician came back the next day to inspect the system. Once the leak was located it was determined it was in an area of the coil that could not be repaired so the technician started explaining the options available to me since my system was 10 years old which contained the old style refrigerant. Ultimately I decided to add the 5 lbs of refrigerant the system required along with some AC leak freeze since the leak we found was really small. After two weeks the system runs fine and the home cools like it did before the problem started.

     Overall I was very impressed with the technician as he was very courteous and explained the options very well so that I could make the best decision at the time knowing all the costs / risks associated with each remedy. I will definitely use them again and recommend them to others in my community

Charlie and his team are absolutely wonderful to work with. They do all the work, remove all debris and do whatever is necessary to get the job done. I was lucky enough to find Charlie and Madd Air for our company and since then he is our go to guy both at work and at home. Several of our employees have also started using Madd Air for their A/C work and are just as happy as I am. When you want something done right, with a great price, call Charlie and Madd Air.

I talked to at least 10-12 companies, including big names (Home Depot and Lowes) and local smaller businesses. I decided to go with Charlie not only because he gave me a very competitive price, but also all service and maintenance packages that came with installation. On top of everything Charlie cleaned our air ducts. Charlie takes pride in his work and takes customer service and satisfaction very seriously. He takes time in explaining the installation process, to inspect the current system in order to offer the best for the house. His responsiveness is almost immediate, always ready to come to help no matter whether it is late hours or weekends. We now have multi-year parts and labor warranty with Madd Air, and I feel really secure. We installed 14-16 SEER Comfortmaker (replaced an old Trane system) and have no regrets as of today. Our electricity bill dropped significantly. I highly recommend Madd Air (Charlie), do not waste your time on shopping for a good company!!!!!

We have been using Madd Air for about 16 months now at our office. They have installed a new 5 ton unit, replaced a coil in another 5 ton unit and have have installed various supplies, returns and dampers in our office. These guys are very prompt and they get the job done quick. I have referred them to a few friends too, one of which has bought a new unit from them. It has been a while since I have worked with a heating and cooling company that I really like. If you are looking for that company this is the one!

It went well, overall but I still have large holes in the walls where they had to cut away sheetrock to access the plumbing from the attic to the unit.  It would have been nice if they could have repaired them.  That is my only criticism. It was a complicated problem due to poor design by the gentleman who built this addition to our house in the first place making this repair more difficult.

I first worked with Charlie in April of  last year to replace all my duct work and put in new insulation.  I got the required three bids and choose Madd Air.  Charlie made some recommendations on installing another return air vent as some parts of the house was hotter than others. Made a huge difference but the house was still not cooling properly. 
Charlie also explained that my AC unit was not functioning the way it was supposed to (previous homeowners were the DIY type) and when I say explained he told me in plain english what the problem was.
I did not even realize that also included in my price was a maintainence agreement where he would come out in the spring, summer and fall to check the systems (additional bonus).
This year we decided to change out our AC unit.  I just called Charlie up for a price and we agreed on a date and time. 
I was not at home while the service was being performed but had no doubt it would be a good job.  Arrived home to see a brand spanking new unit installed, once again he explained all the work that was done in plain english. 
The crew cleaned up, all the insulation that had fallen from the attic and other areas. 
I must add that the work was done very neatly and that I am very pleased.  Now I am not sure I should add this part as I do not want  Madd Air being taken advantage of , but as I was changing the AC unit  Charlie offered to change the water heater with no installation charge so I just paid for the Water Heater unit. Additionaly bonus for me as I was previously quoted $1000+ to change out the heater.

In September of 2012 I had Madd Air install a UV light for mold prevention. My young daughter suffers from allergies and since this light has been installed I have noticed a drastic improvement in her health. I highly recommend Madd Air to anyone needing their services. It's a comfort to know I have found such a reliable company to call on when I need them.
