Description of Work: Installed two toilets and a flange. The young men kept me informed of what needed to be done. The only surprise was one rusted flange. But it had to be replaced; it was not an option. They explained the cost and procedure. The final bill was more than quoted because of the flange, but it seemed to be a competitive, fair price. The installation was professionally done. My husband and I are pleased w/ the results.

Description of Work: Have had a tankless water heater for more than 10 yrs - love it - but it has to be flushed out annually. Average cost for the service is $150 - $200. It's always been 1 plumber, 1 1/2 hours, tops. Purchased the 'deal' $99 for 2 hrs of plumbing service thinking it would work out great; save a little $$. Service was finished in a bit more than an hour. They sent two guys out and the 'fine print' is "one guy / two hrs" or "two guys / one hr". Ended up having an add'l amount due about $40 so it wasn't the 'deal' I thought it would be. PS: I called in advance to discuss the service...have no idea why two techs were sent or were necessary; every other plumber I have used for this has only sent one tech and it takes the same amount of time, regardless. Ah well. Learned something valuable in the process.

I am actually very sorry I ever ran that deal. It was a suggestion by Angie's List and it has cost me dearly. The reason you had 2 techs is simple. It was the truck I had in the area at the time of the appointment, and perhaps I should have done a better job of explaining that when we spoke. The additional $35 was for the material which is not included in the deal. Normally we charge $225 to clean a tankless unit - I don't know what other plumbers charge, but it does sound like you had a better deal there. Like most people I am about the deal. What GAP Plumbing is about is giving a fair price for fair work AND about learning from our mistakes. It was a terrible mistake to have run that deal, I know it now, and I promise not to ever repeat that mistake. If there is something I can do to make it up to you - just call me and I will. I am sorry the experience was not what you thought it should be, and it is your opinion that counts - not mine. I post all reviews, good or bad. No one is perfect, we certainly are not - but we strive to be better than the rest.

Description of Work: Absolutely fantastic experience. From beginning to end, top notch professionals and fairly priced. I was quoted a range for a water main break which could've costed thousands had I contracted with a less than reputable company. Gap not only found the problem but fixed it in under an hour with minimal digging. I had them replace a kitchen faucet for us as well. Great work! Gap is the best!

Description of Work: I have used GAP several times, especially in the last year (renovated two houses). They are always punctual and the price overall is good. On smaller jobs I find the first hour rate high, but it is in line with others. For a larger project they are certainly competitive. I have had a couple warranty calls which they addressed promptly. Warranty issues sometimes arise if a junior technician does the work, but not the norm. With GAP, you definitely get what you pay for - knowledge and a fair price.
