My AC stopped blowing cool air and the fan in the outside unit stopped running. A friend recommended them. I called this morning and was told they would be out later on in the afternoon. They were here about two hours after I called. Someone had already told me about how much it should cost just in case someone tried to pull a fast one, but they were spot on. Chris was respectful and took the time to explain everything to me. He replaced the faulty capacitor and services the unit. He also gave me tips to maintain it. My neighbor was here while my unit was being serviced and called to make his appointment! I am very pleased with their service!

Went well came out same day I called.

They thoroughly checked my Air Conditioner, diagnosed the problem, and serviced it to ensure it would run efficiently again for the rest of the summer. It was running a little hot in the house and it was because the feron was low. They didn't try to sell me unnecessary services but did fix what was wrong to keep my unit running smoothly.

Everything went very well, it basically took all day to complete the work. One of the managers, Josh arrived with the work crew as scheduled and with all the materials to begin the work. Josh took the time to explain everything they were going to do as well listen to any concerns I may have had. After completion of the work, Josh showed me how to use the baffle on the ducts and explained how they would balance the air for eac room. They also tested the air flow for each room and adjusted the flow as necessary. He also explained to me about their "Cool Club", whiere they come out twice a year to perform maintenance and check your system. Overall, I was very pleased with their work and professionalism.

He has since left Ellis Air and my interaction with Ellis Air other than Jason has always been negative and rude. All of my family (3 households) are continuing to use Jason Staley as our A/C tech eventhough he is now with Rabroker Air out of Temple.

Jason effectively serviced the 3 A/C units at our ranch. He spent about an hour on the units, explained exactly what he did, and was very polite. I was shocked when the bill was only $65, even though we live way out in the country. We will definitely use Ellis again, and we will be sure to ask for Jason!

Jason arrived the same day as my initial call. He gave me great information and was honest with his observations. He did not try to sell me on work that didn't need to be done. I appreciate his integrity and honesty.

The technician that came out was very professional. He answered all my questions. And he took me step-by-step and explained the problem with the central air system.

Same day service. Polite, fast, and thorough. Didn't make a mess. Price was right!

The technician and installers were all very professional. They showed at about 8:30 and worked until the job was completed. The technician did not leave until all components were checked out and found to be working properly. The job was completed in one day.

They came right away and knew right away what was wrong. It turned out good.

The guy showed up ahead of scheduled appointment. He asked questions, I answered the questions. He then did a complete check of my heating and cooling system. To find that my freon was low and needed to be recharged. My system required a pound and half but only charged me for a pound.

The repair technician was very friendly. However, he did not want do repair in the afternoon. I requested to schedule the repair work in the afternoon. The technician showed up in the morning. He delayed the repair work for 3 days. Everything else went very well.

They are very hard workers and I always appreciate their work. I've used them for over 10 years and they are just good honest people.

They did an excellent job. They cleaned the air conditioner and replaced the filter as we were getting ready to rent the house out. They were nice to work with.

The service turned out well. They were very nice and they did a good job with the service. They were knowledgeable as they were able to track down the part even though it was no longer being made.

It turned out very nice. They have a very nice person that works for them. He picked up a box of filters for us and he changed it as well. He is very friendly to work with and always good to have a conversation with.

Ellis Air has been my HVAC service provider for over three years. My air conditioning system was running for long periods of time and not cooling as well as normal. I called for service. The technician said the unit was low and Freon and upon conducting a Freon leak test, the condenser unit was leaking in several places. He charged the Freon - to provide air cooling - July in Central Texas - more than enough warmth. I paid for the service call and asked for estimates for the repair and another to replace the system. The estimate for repair was over $1800 and to replace was about $3900. I asked to replace the system. The technicians who came to replace the system were courteous, and professional. The installation took almost seven hours. The unit installed was a Goodman five ton unit. The former unit was a Lennox four ton and was over 17 years old. Our energy bills were about 20% less for the summer and the length of run is reduced significantly. The bill I received was reduced by the cost of the original service call (I don't recall the amount but it included a $50 service call and the cost of Freon).

They were very thorough and competent. They were very responsive as well. They are a good group to work with.

They came within a day to do the service. They were very clean and efficient. They had a tax credit available and within one day they came and gave an estimate. The next day they replaced the unit and hauled the old unit away.

I have used them twice. They were very forthright and let me know when they could come. They called ahead of time as I have a dog and needed notice. They were very informative, efficient, and the price was reasonable.

Ellis Air provided trouble shooting and repair to my non-functioning air conditioner. They temporarily put the system back online and serviced the system. The system was restored to a cooling state but had to run the fan continuously because the controller circuit board/program would either stop completely or would run the air conditioning only when the fan ran continuously. They ordered the part, when it arrived they promptly installed the part and restored the system. This required two service calls and only charged for the part itself. While on the first call the company inspected the system, cleaned the inside and outside units. Normally, the company charges $50.00 for each maintenance call but did not bill me at the time, they wanted to wait until the system was fully repaired. Once the system was restored it worked better than before - perhaps because the system was cleaner and able to run more efficiently. During a follow up visit to provide an estimate to balance the air distribution in the house, the technician gave the estimate to install some dampers to control air flow and provided an estimate to install. The technicians were friendly, receptive to questions and the bill was very reasonable.

I used other companies with limited success prior to finding this one. Ellis's staff are very profession, responsive, and reasonably priced. They start early and work late to resolve heating and air conditioning problems. I have used them dozens of times and am on a first name basis with the staff. Both Chris and Jason are terrific to work with and very knowledgable. They have installed complete whole house systems for me at least 5 times and too many repairs for me to count. The repairs are not due to their work but to age of units, tenants who don't change filters or abuse the systems or theft of copper etc. Their prompt, profession attention to detail, and expert recommendations have resulted in much saving of money for the tenants and landlord. I have spent many $1000's of dollars and have been very happy to do so and will continue to do so in the future. I would highly recommend them.

They are a very good company. There were two types of repairs that needed to be done, the plumbing repair and the tile repair. We didn’t end up doing the tile repair but they put an extra large pipe underneath my house floor and it was very helpful. For the plumbing work we paid about $1000. It was good service and he helped. He was very efficient. They were the ones who did the duct work and AC system from the attic. The AC duct was supposed to drain out but it wasn’t draining. The interaction with them was very good. There were two different areas of work. I didn’t have time to shop around and I went with them because they were clear. They were very quick and punctual. They cleaned up everything and when they cleaned the little dust that had fallen on the fridge or anything.

They were very professional. They got right in and got the job done. They did a good job as far as I can tell. Their responsiveness was very good and punctuality was right on the money. I would use them again in the future if necessary.
