Our appointment was scheduled between 8am and 12pm. The technicians arrived after 1pm. That said, they got the work done quickly and hopefully everything will work well for a while. We had two toilets that had slow leaks and a kitchen sink hose that needed to be replaced. Total cost was around $600 for about 90 minutes of work, plus parts for the toilets (I had the replacement hose for the sink).

They told me it was a major job to bring everything up to code. I thought it would involve a lot of labor and agreed to 3021.00 to change out a propane water heater. The plumber just swapped out the heater and replaced the metal vent pipe through the ceiling,and was in and out in less than three hours. When I complained that the work involved for the job had been over exaggerated they dropped the bill to 2727.00. so even being generous, if the water heater, and hardware to change it came to 1000.00 their rate for labor would run around 600.00 per hour.

Damon showed up on time and immediately found the issue with the pump, replaced, it and issued us a $0 invoice as the pump was still under warranty. Note: we were not there when he arrived - but he did call men upon arrival, confirmed he was at the right location, and called back when the work was completed. Holloway has always been there for us, I trust them, and I do not hesitate in giving them a 5-star endorsement.

Excellent. On time, professional, good analytical ability and creative problem solving. Careful and thorough. Made sure to fully check out normal operations after completing the job. Couldn't be more satisfied. Importantly, used the right equipment - even though it required a return by one team member to the shop to get a working pump while other worker carried on. Great job. We had water issues for a whole week before the Well Company could get to us. Come to find out they had installed a BROKEN switch and that was the reason for the issues not being resolved, the well company clearly showed me where the switch was broken and how he did not understand how the plumbing tech did not see it before installing it. AND There was NO LEAK anywhere in the well. On top of that i get a bill that is 3X as much as the well company from them. So i call them and let them know what happened. Sandy, from the Holloway Plumbing claims she is sorting it out for me. I call her several times over a week period with little to no response to her about whats going on. Then I get an email with a "revised" statement claiming they will pay my bill from the Well Company but I still owe them the remaining amount. I refuse to pay for labor that was done to install a BROKEN switch so i call her and again I get the excuse shes either not in the office or on the phone and like usually never get a call back. So here i am still trying the deal with these people that refuse to even speak with me about the issue. DO NOT USE THEM when it comes to the Well or Pressure tank because they are clueless!

I also apologize for the delay in getting back to you. I was unfortunately out of cell service when you contacted us yesterday morning but called as soon as I received your message. As we discussed yesterday, I did speak this morning with the technician that was on site for your original call. Based on what he was seeing when he was there, he made the best diagnosis he could. I understand that it was incorrect based on the diagnosis by the well company and as such we will refund the entire bill for the day we where there. My apologies again, we do make mistakes at times but when we do I do try and make it right. Damon Lewis"

We do however make every attempt to keep you informed as to our status so that you can plan your day as we know that your time is valuable. As to your grade on pricing, it is our policy to review/inspect and price all work up front so that you as the customer know what the charges will be before we begin any work. You then have the option to decline any or all work at that time. This also gives you the customer the opportunity to ask any questions concerning the work or the price to do that work. This way you are not in the position of having work done and not knowing what the price will be until afterward. I think that is the fairest way that we can handle pricing for work to be done. I like Holloway Plumbing and they would have been the ones I called for the hot water heater, had I followed what I should have followed.  That one was for a leak in my sprinkler system and it was underneath the sidewalk.  The guy had to go through this little hole; but you know they have openings every so often where all the gear fits so you can maintain it and everything, but it was back from there.  I guess it had shifted a little bit, and so he had to take off his shirt and just get in there, and it was really hard.  They did a good job, though.  They did other work for me also.  The main water line to my house broke one year and that's when I first started using them.  I walked outside and there was water all over and I didn't know why.  They came out and had to dig up this big old hole, I mean, they really worked hard, and they got it all fixed and everything.  I think that was the first time I called them.  They were prompt; first of all, the lady that works the phones, they do a great job and they'll tell you - ask a lot of questions, you know, to find out who to send.  And then they sent the truck, and the truck - at that time it was a truck with a guy - I'm not sure how they do it but they're not all master plumbers, but they have a master plumber that they call if they need  help or something, and then he had also a worker with him.  And they had to dig a big hole because tree roots had gotten into the line.  It was a PVC pipe and it broke so they had to replace it all.   I remember at that same time, of course my garage was open and he looked in and he saw my water heater didn't have that little thing on top for the pressure, and that's what they had to do is get the water pressure back to normal because it's very high in my area and it just blows things out if you don't get it down.  And he noticed that I didn't have one up there, so he had to put on this tank on top of my hot water heater to get the pressure down.  They had to work a little bit on that, too.  But I just think they did a really good job.  They're very polite, professional, and they do good work.  Then I used them another time.  After the guy fixed the water sprinkler system,  I couldn't get my back yard to work.  Anyway, I called them and I turned it on - I'd been turning it on and off to see if  I could get it on - but I called them and when they got here they turned it on, and it worked.  So they left and they didn't charge me anything for that either.  They said, oh no, that's fine, so I said okay.

Crew was courteous, professional and did an amazing job over the four day job. Every hole they had to make in walls were patched with no mess. Since the water had to be turned off during this job, they told me to let them know when I needed a break (which I did without embarrassment). This is an example of the type of great individuals that work for Holloway Plumbing. People may feel their prices are a little high but you get what you pay for and that is quality work which lasts in the long run.
