It went really well. The service man was Matt Simpson and he was the kindest, most professional and courteous of any I have ever dealt with. He absolutely sold me on Holloway Plumbing. He made me certain I would call the next time I am need of plumbing services.

They arrived a little early and called first. Went staright to work upon explaining the repair work and cost.
Fixed in about 30minutes. Settled up and offered discounts and warranties.

James very efficiently accomplished the assigned task and was also gracious enough to answer several questions that my wife had that were not really related to the garbage disposal issue. In fact, after I got home from work, she told me how much she appreciated the way James went about his task in a very professional manner but, at the same time, he was very pleasant to be around. One of her comments was that he apparently really enjoys what he does.
We would be happy to have Holloway Plumbing and, especially, James Ozuna handle any future plumbing issues we might have.

Came right on time (it was OK with me for them to come the next day). Mark Kott and his assistant were very clean and very polite. They changed out the disposal and the new one works great. I will use them again.

The technician and his assistant were very polite, respectful and professional. Communication about the job, price, etc. was excellent. Respect for our property was very evident with paper booties, work mat and extreme caution when moving the appliances in/out of our home. Both individuals remained very focused on the job, brought our attention to any concerns and asked if we were satisfied with the work before final details were performed. Social chat was appropriate and welcomed--no gripes about his employer or work conditions (just the opposite).
It was a pleasure doing business with these gentlemen--I emphasize 'gentlemen'.

Service was very quick Texas Lane was the plumber sent out. He diagnosed the problem and told me what the costs would be with different scenarios. He then cleared the drain.
He tested other drains in the house to make sure there were no other problems.
He and his helper were both very friendly and courteous.

Everything went smoothly. My water heater sprung a leak and was beyond repair so I had to get a new one. They removed the old one (took with them) and installed a new more efficient one. I also had a new kitchen faucet and shut off valves replaced. They were very clean and professional. They even gave my daughter a little rubber duck that has plumbing tools in it's hands. She loves it! I plan on using these guys in the future should the need arise. Very Pleased.

Member Comments: My wife and I are newly-weds, new to the Kerrville area, but living in an older home that is giving us some "issues". We contacted professional plumbers to help us address some of those issues. I have called on them twice in one week. They unclogged our main drain and installed a new water heater. From technician to business office, these folks are friendly, courteous, and attentive to the customer's needs. I had the pleasure of being served by a master plumber who performed or supervised the heater installation. The master plumber and his helper were prompt, fast but not rushed, friendly, informative, neat, and efficient. From my initial phone call to water heater installation took only a few hours and cost MUCH less than if it had been performed by either of the 2 big help-yourself chains in town that I contacted first. I will not contact the chain stores first. Simply call "Simply Water Heaters" first.

. I called at approx. 8:30 am and was put on the schedule for a technician to arrive between 9:00 am and 11:00 am. Mike arrived at my front door at exactly 9:05 am and already had some shoe cover socks on his shoes to protect my floors. I was very impressed with his cleanliness and professionalism. I called for a leaking water heater but as Mike was working he noticed that my water softener was not working properly due to the hard water test he performed to insure a longer life for the water heater. At no additional cost, Mike serviced the water softener and put another heavy bag of salt in the tank. Thank You Mike and Simply Water Heaters for all you did for me. I'm very pleased and will highly recommend you to my neighbors and friends and now I know that you work on all plumbing problems and not just water heaters. And at very reasonable prices. I took a day off work and requested the Holloway Plumbing technicians come in the morning so I had the maximum amount of time for the repair. I was told by Holloway scheduler that they would be there first thing in the morning. Technicians didn?t show up until noon. A secretary called mid morning and told me they would be late.
I was informed by the Holloway Plumbing technicians that they do not work by the hour, but by a set price for the job. This sounds like a plus up front, except it was obvious that their first priority was to try to sell me extra services. After an hour of listening to the pitch on recommendations including: water heater flush, upgrading valves & supply lines, steel braided something or other (I know little about plumbing), repiping a drain, upgrading to ball valves, replace ¾ PRV, and a $15/month maintenance plan, (for a total of $1795), I agreed to only the $222 tankless water heater flush and hopefully the hot water heater repair. To be fair, I did ask for information about a water softener installation.
At 3:00pm, after the Holloway technicians flushed my water heater, vented gas into my house, and had spent more than an hour on the phone with Bosch tech support, I still had no hot water. Since Bosch east coast tech support closed then, the technicians said they would have to come back the next day. I received a $429 invoice that included a $168 charge for extended diagnostic charges. I was told I needed to pay the bill, which I did.
Since I still had no hot water, I called another plumber the next day that cost me another day off work. I stopped payment on the check to Holloway Plumbing. Holloway Plumbing later voided the invoice.

"Ms. H Please accept my apologies on the level of service that you received on your service call. First, you definitely should have received a timely call in the morning advising you as to our expected arrival time. This is our normal practice. Second, we do have a 100% Customer Satisfaction guarantee for all services we perform. As we discussed when I spoke to you on or around January 25, 2013, I did not want you to pay for any service that you did not think that you received value from. The charges on your invoices show to be $39.00 for a dispatch fee, $222.000 for the flush of the tankless water heater which is done using chemical designed to clean and dissolve all lime/scale buildup in the heater and then a $168.00 diagnostic charge working with the Bosch support staff to determine the issue with the heater. As you stated, we were not able to get the heater functioning working with Bosch tech support and they asked that we continue the next day. As you also stated, you called in a 2nd company who resolved the issue for you. As such, all charges, dispatch fee, tankless water heater flush and the diagnostic fee for the call were voided. I do apologize again for any inconvenience this caused and if you feel there is more we could have done or we can do, please do not hesitate to call me so that we can discuss it. Our goal is to always do what is fair and right for our customers. As you noted, we do also offer a safety inspection of the entire plumbing system in the home. As professional plumbers, we feel it is important for us to let our customers know of any existing or potential issues that they may have with their plumbing in the home. This is not only for the benefit of the homeowner as it may keep some catastrophic event from occurring such as an old supply line rupturing and flooding a home, but it is done to make sure we have a thorough understanding of the plumbing system in the home so that we can properly diagnose the reason for the original call. Sometimes recommendations do come out of these inspections. We believe it is our responsibility to let our customers know of these issues so that they are fully aware of the state of the plumbing in their homes and they can then make an informed decision as to what repairs they would or would not like to perform. Lastly, as you stated we do have and offer a plumbing service plan to our customers for $14.95 / month. The benefits of this plan are many but a few of which are a reduced dispatch fee of $19.00 as opposed to $39.00, priority dispatching and scheduling, a once a year safety inspection of the entire home at no charge to the customer which includes the flushing of a tank water heater and 10% off of all work performed. This plan is completely voluntary and we offer it as a convenience and service to our customers. Many times this plan will pay for itself in just a few visits and it will keep all your plumbing systems functioning at peak performance thus saving you even more over time. We arranged for them to be at our house at 9 AM to complete the PRV and valve replacements. Sure enough at 9 AM, on the dot, they pulled up in front of the house. At that same time we received a call from their office to tell us that they were on their way. I informed the pleasant lady from the office that they were, in fact, just pulling up. The work to remove the old PRV, install the new new ones, along with the two new water cut-off valves and water heater safety tank was all accomplished in about three hours, which I found to be very fast, as they had to dig out around the underground water meter to install the new PRVs, do the work, replace the dirt and encase the entire area in a new access panel. They left the area looking clean and neat. They would return two days later to tackle the master bath. The master bath work took all day. They were a bit late because of a meeting at the office - but we did get a call from the same pleasant lady informing us that they would be late. And there were a few "Murphy's Law" moments during the day, but they took them in stride and pressed on with no (visible) frustration. At the end of the day, the bathroom had a great new look and was as clean as it was before they began the makeover. I don't give compliments where they're not deserved - and I will definitely compliment Texas and Jeff. They were professional, pleasant, courteous, truly honest in letting us know what could and could not be done - and definitely knowledgeable. Holloway Plumbing will surely get all future plumbing business at our house

Very professional. They have a "flat-rate" pricing system that seems very fair; avoids the excessive hourly charges that many local plumbers use, especially since we live 30 minutes from town. A $14.95 per month preventative maintenance contract was offered and accepted; gives discount on all regular service prices, plus extensive once a year check of all plumbing systems. Very pleased with their service and will recommend and use again.

Called the Holloway office this morning and Tabitha was friendly and professional. She explained the emergency fee and kept me informed on the progress of the technician coming to my home. She was not aware of the Angie's List coupon I wanted to redeem but got permission to honor it anyway, saving me $200! Jerry and Chris were at my home before noon and greeted me with smiles. They were both professional and courteous. They had the problem fixed in about 30 minutes. I will definitely use them in the future!

I called Holloway to schedule the work. They indicated they could do the work same-day between noon and 2:00PM, and their repair folks would call before their arrival. The dispatch called shortly before 2:00PM and said the crew was running late and that they would arrive before 3:00PM, and they did. The crew of two (Dustin and Steve) were courteous and professional, and accomplished tasks quite quickly.
I have to say that the dispatch group really stay on their toes making sure to keep the customer advised of schedule (and in this case changes to schedule), and I appreciated this effort.
Looking at the bill I asked that it be written out that the bibs were warranted for 10 years (while this is apparently tracked at Holloway I would have no record).
Finally, I was supplied a "Get Paid for Your Feedback!" card saying if you wrote a review for Angies list you'd receive a $20 VISA giftcard. However to receive the giftcard one must "Email a direct link to the posting to [email protected]". I'm afraid I don't know how to do that from my computer, and suggest that Holloway simply read this review and send me the card anyway.
