Tim does excellent work!

Tim did a great job. The job was quite extensive, and took quite some time, but he was working hard (and fast!) throughout. Very pleased with the work, and will use him again. He gave a 10% angies list discount also.

Tim was prompt, professional, and fixed the problems quickly.

Tim is terrific. We scheduled the initial estimate appointment for an early weekday morning and Tim arrived promptly and was very thorough. His estimate was well within the ballpark of what we were willing to pay and so we scheduled the repairs for the following week. Tim called before he came and again arrived promptly. He worked quickly and skillfully, careful to put down tarps when working and mindful of keeping things clean. His final invoice was slightly lower than my wife and I had estimated. He did not charge us for time he spent obtaining a piece he needed to finish the job. When we finally do the remodel on our kitchen, we certainly would like Tim to handle the plumbing component.

I made a call to Tim Darnell Plumbing and Tim called me back within ten minutes. I described the work I needed and he was able to come by the very next day. After his assessment of the work, he was able to give me an accurate estimate of the costs involved. He applied for the necessary city permits and completed the work the within a couple of days. Overall: Excellent, honest and responsive plumber who got the job done in short order for a fair price.

I was very satisfied with the amount that he charged me especially because it was Saturday. He cleaned up after himself and put a drop cloth down where he worked.

I located Tim Darnell plumbing on Angie's list. One evening after returning home from being out of town and finding the tile floor in my laundry room very warm I called him for help. Tim promptly called me back and diagnosed over the phone that I had a hot slab leak. I was not aware of what this was and he suggested he stop by that evening to check out how emergent the situation was. He arrived on time and was very professional. He scheduled a return visit to install some shut-off valves so the water heater could be used while we waited for the leak locater service to arrive. After the leak location was confirmed Tim promptly arrived to run a new line through the attic. This was complicated as I was hoping he would not have to open the walls. In fact he did a fabulous job of dropping the water line down through the wall and worked in the very smallest of spaces with no fuss or mess! Tim was professional, concerned, on time(and when running late would call to keep me in the loop), thorough and wonderful to work with. He was also very gracious explaining his every move since my husband is a teacher and loves learning new things! I highly recommend Tim Darnell Plumbing and I will confidently use him as my plumber and refer him to all my co-workers and friends.

I had a leak coming from the laundry room when the washing machine was in use. After eliminating all the hoses and the machine itself, I concluded that the leak was either at the drain line at the base of the wall or in the slab. Because the issue was not urgent (as long as I wasn't doing laundry), I sent Tim an email late on the day before Christmas Eve. Tim called me that evening and said that he could come over the next day (Christmas Eve) and make an assessment. After he identified the problem, he said that he could fix it on this visit. He spent about 3 hours and repaired the prior poor workmanship. Tim is wonderful. He is very polite and was on time. I was SO glad I found him on Angie's List and will DEFINITELY recommend him in the future to anyone with plumbing problems.

This job went extremely well. It's been a long time since I have hired a contractor who was this considerate and professional - all at a very reasonable price. Tim arrived on time and completed the work in just a little over two hours. Even though he had to remove the lavatory bowl from the wall, there was no resulting damage to the drywall - or our recent paint job. Tim was very careful about protecting our wood floor from any scratches from his tools. He did a wonderful job of cleaning up the work area when he was finished. I am very pleased with the work that was done.

Called Tim on a Monday, left a message. He got back to me right away and was able to give me a rough estimate over the phone that it would take about 1hr 15min. I was available on Thursday morning, so he said he would come and give me a better estimate before he started the job. Meanwhile, I e-mailed him pictures of the faucets. He called Wed. night to confirm appointment and called on Thu. when he was on his way. He said that the pictures were helpful. He said that it would take him 1hr 15min. He charges by the hour. It took him longer than estimated, probably 30 minutes more, but he only charged me for the time he estimated. He also gave me a 10% Angie's List discount on the labor. Overall, Tim did a great job. Good communication, on time, cleaned up, professional, A++++!

I sent an email on a Sunday requesting service and he called that afternoon to schedule. He accommodated my schedule and arrived at the time agreed upon on Monday. Tim was pleasant, courteous, and efficient. I will absolutely call him for any future plumbing needs.

We got Tim as a result to a call via our home warranty company. He worked showed up on time, worked fast, kept the worksite very clean, solved the problem and kept us totally informed throughout the call. He troubleshooted and resolved a very weird problem, and was very friendly and easy to work with.

He was on time, efficient, courteous, and polite. The price is reasonable. Most importantly, he answered the phone.

Tim arrived promptly at the time we set up. From then on, he was a whirling dervish working very quickly and efficiently. He had it wrapped up and very nicely cleaned up in 2 hours. I absolutely recommend Tim Darnell Plumbing.

We had a musty odor coming from under one of the lavatories in our home. I personally had searched and searched, but could not find its origin. Tim was diligent in going through all of the possible things that could have created the odor. Finally, after going through his mental checklist of possible causes, Tim was able to locate a loose connection joint. The disconnect was very slight, without any leakage or drip unless water was run continuously for some time, which is how Tim found the problem. Tim was professional: on-time, courteous, clean/conscientious (laid drop cloth on work area and cleaned up afterward), fast.

We bought our house two years ago and as soon as the weather gets cooler, we experience a sewer gas problem. We have had 4 plumbers here to fix the problem. I called Tim and he came over right away. The problem had to do with the travertine flooring and the wax ring. Tim did an excellent job. The past few mornings have been cool and so far no sewer gas problems. He put down drop cloths and was very clean.

Tim was prompt in returning my phone call on a Saturday afternoon. He offered to come out early evening but I had prior plans and could not be home. So we made an appointment for Sunday morning at 8:00 (how often does that happen ?) because he knew I needed use of my bathroom. He was on time, very professional and fixed the problem. He was able to give me a quote on the phone and did not try to raise his price once he got there (as another plumber did). I highly recommend Tim and will refer him to every one I know.

FOUND ON ANGIE'S LIST AND CALLED IN THE AFTERNOON. TIM CAME TO THE HOUSE THE NEXT MORNING. AFTER HE CHECKED THE ITEMS THAT HAD PROBLEMS AND DESCRIBED TO ME WHAT NEEDED TO BE DONE, I AGREED FOR HIM TO PROCEED. HE WORKED RAPIDLY AND WAS VERY THOROUGH. HE THEN CHECKED TO MAKE SURE THAT EACH ITEM WAS WORKING PROPERLY. HE CLEANED HIS WORK AREAS TO THE POINT ONE COULD NOT SEE THAT WORK HAD BEEN DONE. IT WAS OBVIOUS TO ME HE KNEW WHAT TO DO AND HOW TO DO IT (THERE WERE SEVERAL DIFFERENT BRAND NAME FAUCETS, ETC. INVOLVED). A WEEK LATER NOW AND ALL ITEMS WORK PERFECTLY. I WOULD CALL TIM FOR ANY NEW PLUMBING PROBLEMS THAT MIGHT COME UP.

Tim returned my call promptly and was able to come the next morning, after the ground dried a bit. He went up on the roof several times and checked all the lines. He cleaned out the one that was clogged and told me the problem is probably tree roots getting into the lines (I have 12 trees in the backyard, so this wasn't a huge surprise). He also provided an estimate as to what the job would cost if I were to replace the pipes, as the existing ones are original to the 50-year-old home.

Tim was wonderful. I had no idea where the leak was coming from. He took the time to look around the outside of the house to get an idea of what possible pipe it could have been. He let me know approximately how long it would take to make the repair and was able to complete the job, look at a couple of other things for me for a future job.

Tonight we found water leaking outside between the bricks and foundation. We feared the worst and began calling plumbers. I called several different plumbers and most gave me a date several days away or even weeks. I left a message for Tim and he returned my call quickly. He listened to me intently as I described our problem. He was concerned enough that he told me he thought he should run by tonight and take a look. He was at my house in 20 mins. He quickly assessed that the issue was with a loose outside spigot. He promptly got to work - even with 6 staring eyes. Once Tim removed the spigot he showed us what it looked like inside the wall and gave a quick tutorial on how that type of faucet works. He was absolutely certain that the problem was resolved, but that I should call him in the morning if the foundation hadn't dried considerably. When I told Tim where I got his number he was quite pleased that I got it from Angie's List. I am tickled that we found Tim.

Extremely well. I was referred to Tim by another plumber (an old friend that I have used for 20 plus years). Tim is a plumber's (licensed) master plumber. Tim came right over and stayed until the work was complete. He was tired and came back the next day to make sure he didn't miss anything.
