Late on a Friday night, after a dinner party, my wife went to run the dishwasher. She opened the cabinet doors under the kitchen sink for the detergent and discovered water everywhere. We determined the garbage disposal was the culpert. On Saturday I consulted Angie's List and called Tim Darnell. He advised me on where and which new disposal I should purchase and said he would be over within 25 minutes after I returned home with the new disposal. Tim was very professional and careful as he replaced the old disposal with the new one. I would call Tim for plumbing repairs again.

My husband was trying to fix a leaky outside faucet. Being 26 years old, the faucet broke at the pipe inside the wall about mid-morning. I went out to Angie's List and looked up plumbers. I found Tim Darnell on the A list and not too far from where we live. I called Tim and explained the situation. He was able to get to our place and on a job by mid-afternoon. I was able to send him phone and address information by email because he has a BlackBerry (I was at work, husband at home). Tim assessed the situation, had to get into the wall from under the kitchen sink, and made the repair. My husband was very pleased and impressed with Tim's professional manner and work ethic. He charged by time and parts. We will definitely call Tim again. We have a few more things to take care of and now that we have a great plumber, we will ask him to come and do the work.

The Plumber came well supplied (skill and additional plumbing supplies) to meet any challenges posed by the new faucets we having installed, etc. The Plumber even provided a novel solution to a problem with the Moen faucet connection, as the granite countertop was thicker than what this faucet (that we purchased) should be used with (but there wasn't a disclaimer on the literature viewed when purchasing the hardware).

His total labor cost was approximately $500 and included inspecting/cleaning toilet jets, inspecting sewage pipe for leaks and pressure, removing old toilets, installing new toilets, and fixing dripping kitchen faucet. He was punctual (both trips), returned phone calls promptly, cleaned up all work areas, and was a pleasure to deal with.

Great experience, friendly, professional, very knowledgeable and eager to answer any question. He made time in his schedule to come to our house the same day I called.

He came out the same day I called. Checked drain issues in bathtub - was quick to identify the problem due to the seal on my tub drain. It was worn out. All that time I was pouring drain cleaner may have contributed to the seal becoming a problem since it was worn. Was very willing to check out additonal issues we did not include in service call. Very professional & prompt service!! Will definitely use again.

Tim did a great job. Not knowing what problems he would encounter going in, he rebuilt the mechanisms on 5 toilets (some more problematic than others). He also installed a new faucet on a pedestal sink and needed to replace some gaskets also. The new kitchen faucet was installed also. Tim did the work while surrounded by a team of painters also working in the same space and was very considerate of what everyone was doing. He did a great job and took care of several small problems that would have led to bigger problems in the near future. Tim knows his business well.

He was very responsive and professional. He even offered an Angie's List discount.

We made the appointment the day before, picking the date and time. Tim was on time, checked out what needed to be done and gave us an estimate. Although the repair required cutting drywall, you couldn't tell because he layed down drop cloths and carried everything with him when he left. We are very pleased to have found Tim and will use him in the future.

Work is not yet finished due to waiting for insurance adjuster's visit.

I couldn't locate the source of the leaking toilet. Tim found the problem, replaced the faulty part and put in new parts.

He is very nice and knowledgeable. He is a bit busy now, but that is good because he has got a lot of work. I had a leak and he knew what to do and fit me in his schedule. I worked with him and he worked with me.

We were quite pleased. Tim was available the next day and showed up at promised time. He was familiar with the garbage that our builder installed and got it replaced pronto. In addition I got some free training in clearing tub drains. I won't hesitate to call him again.

This was a great experience. He came... He saw...and He fixed the problem. This was one of the most pleasurable experiences dealing with a service person. He communicated well, showed up for the assigned appointment on time and knew exactly what he was doing. I will call this company for any future problems that I have.

Mr. Darnell is an excellent plumber. He took the time to answer all of our questions and did a great job repairing the items that needed to be repaired.

He fixed our leak in less than an hour and was a total pro. He looked over the damaged part, removed it and replaced the pipe with a new one. We had another small leak (it's a really old water heater that we will be replacing very very soon) that was not worth the money to repair so he helped slow the leak and divert it away from the house. The Will use again.

I left a voice mail for Tim and he returned my call within 45 minutes. Tim agreed to come out that afternoon and arrived on time. I showed Tim the faucets and tub, and he explained what needed to be done. When Tim started working, I've never seen any plumber work faster or with more focus. After completing the repairs and turning the water supply back on, one of the capped supply lines leaked. Tim apologized, told me he could fix it properly -- and he took himself off the clock until it was done. He worked an additional 45 minutes on this repair and retested it. The work Tim did was superb and the parts he used were high quality. I will only call Tim in the future for my plumbing needs. Tim didn't have to take himself off the clock to redo the repair, but his choice to do so said a lot about his ethics. A competent plumber that is honest and charges reasonable rates is a keeper.

Easy to contact. Agreed to the date/time for the job. Tim arrived when expected. Worked quickly and efficiently (but it still took three hours or so). Beautiful job of plumbing the water lines. Replaced the old screw/gasket cutoff valve with a ball valve (thank goodness). Hauled off the old water heater and cleaned up what little mess he made during installation. We are in Fort Worth so Tim made certain the new install met current code and scheduled the city inspector to come out. The installation passed without problem. Tim is very nice and very easy to communicate with (a real plus) and he also can be reached via email.

Ever since I found Tim on Angie's list I have used him. He always calls in a timely fashion, but what is particularly impressive about Tim is his attention to detail. He has the ability to define how things work that include their peculiarities. He can diagnose the problem with ease and fix it correctly, in a way that appears easy. He changed out the outdoor faucet and took care to insulate the pipe. The end result is always a perfect solution. He knew the new laws and installed a pressure control valve for us explaining why it would be good for our installation. My husband enjoys learning new things and loves the opportunity to be with Tim. He always comes away saying not only has he learned, but that he is truly impressed with his skill sets, attention to detail, how quickly he works and how pleasant he is to be around. He believes Tim looks like a maestro at work.

I called Tim about 9 a.m. My spigot in my backyard was leaking pretty bad. He was here within the hour. He had to replace the spigot. He was very conscientious and did a great job!

To say that I was very impressed with Tim would be a serious understatement. I don't remember ever having a plumber that worked as quickly (he almost ran between his truck and the house when he needed parts or additional tools) or was more conscientious than Tim. Every part that was removed and reused (including a set screw!) was cleaned and lubricated, He even took the new, out-of-the-package, valve stems apart and lubricated them before he installed them. The tub faucets now turn smoothly and don't drip. The kitchen faucet is like new. It operates smoothly and I have much better control of the water temperature. As I told him when he left, I think I've found my new plumber!

I called Tim based on Angie's list reports. He is not in the yellow pages. He answered the phone himself, I explained what I needed, and he said he would be there in about two hours. In about two hours he was at the house after calling first, did the job very professionally and charged exactly what he said he would. I asked him about another plumbing problem I plan to tackle myself, and he spent about fifteen minutes explaining just what I needed to do, what problems I might run into, and gave me an estimate it he did it. He was very professional and friendly throughout.

Having owned several homes over many years, I have finally found a plumber who knows what they are doing and are honest. Each bathroon toliet had a different issue (older home with original toliets that were put in over tile and not set into concrete). Tim pointed out the issue with each and gave me the options of how the toliets coudl be replaced (and the cost of doing each situatuion). Tim also took extra time to ensure the toliets were level, the tanks were level, and the toliet seat was level. Other problems came up in replacing sink and tub fixtures in upstairs bathroom. Again, Tim gave me the options and cost of doing each. I was most pleased in the fact that Tim double checked what he had done it make sure it worked perfectly, was completely level (toliets), and every part of the sink, tub, and toliets all worked perfectly without issues. He called a few days later to make sure everything was working perfectly as well.

He was very straight forward with me and told me exactly what it was going to take. He even suggested that I find another company to come out and dig the trench because it would be cheaper for me. He was very good to work around my schedule. He was very professional and friendly. He was great to work with. I would gladly use them again if I needed too.
