Tim arrived at the designated time, was thorough and professional. Appreciated his responsiveness in trying to schedule an appointment even though he was having a busy week. Nice man.

Tim came out to give us an estimate and spent a lot of time going over all our concerns and letting us know about all of our options. He was very helpful and wants to do everything the best way to prevent future problems, which is great. Since we got a new water heater we wanted to make sure it was done the right way. When he came to install the water heater I was gone most of the day, but I left the house open for him and felt completely comfortable leaving here alone. He did a great job and I would absolutely use him in the future.

I called Tim for an estimate for putting in roman tub and shower faucets. Since I had a different brand of faucets he suggested I use the same brand so I didn't have to dig into the shower wall. I sent pictures to him and he suggested I call the fixture company and discuss compatibility with them. I have now ordered new faucets and will be able to complete the install myself. I was very impressed with his knowledge and desire to make it affordable for me (even if he didn't get the job).

Called Tim for a second opinion regarding a persistent leak (for months) that could not be located. He visited the site and then arranged to have a leak detection service that subs for him visit the site also.Tim was of the opinion that the leak was coming from the city's side (and, therefore the city's responsibility) and his sub confirmed it. Tim kept me up to date via email or phone in spite of the fact that there was the possibility he would not be doing any actual work for me - which, as it turned out was the case. Fee was for leak detection. Very professional and would call on him again.

Tim appeared at precisely the scheduled time. Had all necessary parts for repairs. Worked efficiently. Pleasant and friendly personality.

I knew Tim was different when he returned my original call. Not only did he call personally, but he counseled me at length as to what the issues might be and the approx. best and worst case costs. The job was at my Mom's apartment and her landlord is worthless. We chose to pay for the repair rather than deal with him - up to a point anyway. Tim and I decided to go for it and if the basic repair didn't solve the problem, we would stop at that point and call the landlord. I spoke with Tim several times on the phone to gather all the information to make this decision. He was so helpful and gracious each time. Tim arrived on the appointment day on time, with a smile and cheerful attitude. He met my elderly Mom and took the time to spend a few minutes visiting with her. He then replaced the faucet cartridge and handle which turned out to be the "easy fix" we had hoped for. Tim was never hurried, always professional, very knowledgeable and did exactly what he said for the price that he quoted. In addition, he treated my Mom with such kindness and respect. TIM IS OUR NEW PLUMBER!

Tim did a great job. I called him based on his great reviews on Angie's List, and he deserves the high marks. Upon my initial call to Tim, he immediately started asking questions to understand and begin his problem diagnosis. He even suggested several simple tests I could do myself to help diagnose where the leak was coming from so I wouldn't have to pay him to do those simple tasks. I thought that was a very honest and upfront approach which I appreciated. He is happy to explain what he's doing in laymen's terms so you understand what's going on. Job took approximately 3 hours and he provided a 5% Angie's list discount. Did not charge for the time it took him to go pick up some parts that he did not have in his truck that were required for our job. He is professional, cordial and polite, and has good customer service. We will use Tim for our future plumbing needs.

Tim reconfirmed the time and showed up on time. His knowledge was great right down to his estimate of what it would cost me to get this one other part I needed on line. His repair work was complete and he left the area clean. I was on a conference call for much the time he was here. He texted me with updates and when he needed me to authorize an approach on the drain.

Excellent Tim is very polite and professional. Very neighbourly like and I will give him more business. He finished the job very satisafactorily. Great gentleman. I will also recommend to friends.

It went very well. From the moment Tim walked into our house he was professional and courteous. He worked without a break and left us with a beautiful new bathtub faucet and handles that don't leak anymore! Tim is a great guy and very easy going. I cannot recommend him highly enough.

I called Tim on Monday morning to get an appointment to help with a stubborn clog in one of the toilets. Fortunately Tim had an opening and set a time of 11:00 a.m. Tim called back at 10:45 to let me know he was running a little late and that he would arrive closer to 11:30. Tim arrived on time and immediately went to work to diagnose the problem. First he tried to "snake" the line but that didn't work so he then went upon the roof with his auger and attacked the problem from the roof vent. It worked...problem solved. Tim's price for this job was competitive and although it may seem high to some Tim had to traverse a very steep roof with a heavy auger to complete the job. That alone seemed worth the price because of the danger involved. Tim is one of those rare tradesmen who is honest, knowledgeable, easy to talk to, no nonsense (BS), polite, and has just a terrific overall service oriented professional attitude. He is the real deal. I highly recommend Tim Darnell.

Tim is great. The fixture in my master bathroom shower has a lifetime warranty, but I didn't know what part to order to fix the probelm. Tim researched the manufacturer's website and studied the faucet's schematic so he could tell me what part(s) to order. He did all of this on the phone before he ever came to the house! Tim does quality work, takes the time to do it right, and explains what he's doing and why. The price he charged me was very reasonable and I definitely got more than my money's worth. I highly recommend Tim and will definitely use him again.

Tim came out late one afternoon to give me an estimate. He explained in detail what he would be doing. I accepted his price. He came back on the day he told me (which was two days later) and installed the new water heater. He did an OUTSTANDING job! He worked all day to install it and even did some extra checking on some other plumbing concerns at no charge. He was punctual, professional and friendly. I would use him again and highly recommend him.

He is extremely thorough and completed the job in a timely manner. He was able to do additional work for us as well that we requested on the spot after he provided us with some information regarding the toilets being worked on. We were very pleased with the workmanship and would highly recommend him as well as use him again for any plumbing needs in the future. Thank you!

This is my third time to use Tim and he came through with flying colors as he had before. A 10 year old water heater was producing little hot water. Tim came out out and we talked about the 2-3 key issues that could be causing the problem and the cost of replacing each. The first two items Tim checked were not working properly so we discussed the differences in replacing the parts versus getting a new water heater. That is one maior thing (besides the quality work he does) I appreciate in working with Tim. He will give you the options and the costs and then let you make the decision. It was easy to decide to replace the water heater, but it was in a closet and that created two other problems. Without extra cost, Tim took care of everything (it still took him 4 hours due to those problems), but everything works well and plenty of hot water is no longer a problem.

Tim was great, did everything he said he would, sorted out the problem, and only charged me for one hour of work. Could not ask for better service

I had a few problems that needed attention, so I found Tim on Angie's List and called. First of all, my sinks had very low water pressure. I told him about the problem, mentioniong that it only started happening after I got my hot water heater replaced. He diagnosed the problem over the phone and told me how to take off the airator (sp?) to rinse out the sediment that most likely was causing the problem. That fixed the problem right away! I needed a new faucet installed in one of my bathrooms and we discussed him coming to perform that labor. On the day he was scheduled to come out, I noticed that the toilet in there was leaking and he was willing to take care of this unexpected problem as well. He pulled the toilet and replaced the wax seal and also secured the flange (which should've been done when my house was built, but never was!!) He did take much care in doing the job right to ensure it doesn't need to be done again in the near future. He was very careful to replace every part that could go bad so that I don't have to pay to have it pulled out again. He also took the time to explain to me (a single mother who's certainly not very handy around the house) what needed to be done and why. Tim cleaned up every tiny piece of debris when he was done and was very professional and prompt. I'll highly recommend him to others and will certainly use him for all future plumbing needs!!!

He was quick to return my call for service and was right on time. He was very nice and did a great job! We will be using him for all of our plumbing needs.

I will definitely use Tim Darnell for all of my future plumbing issues. He is very efficient and does great work. He replaced the shower valve first, showing me how to do it myself the next time.The Moen valves are prone to fail every 5-8 years. Next he moved on to the kitchen sink where he took the pipes under the sink apart and cleared an obstruction. After reassembly he did not like the pitch of one of the pipes, I wish my builder would have been as thorough. He then made corrections for improved flow. Then finally he attached a gas log set to my gas line in the fireplace. He had all the fittings he needed on his truck to allow for a speedy install. I am very pleased with all the work he did and even recommended him to my parents.

Toilet mechanism was broken. We found Darnell plumbing on Angie's list and they accomodated us right away. They used a toilet mechanism that is much more quiet than the original one and the sink drain, which has been slow for years works just like new. Mr. Darnell worked very efficiently and wasted no time. Tim Darnell will be our plumber of choice in the future.

Service call was placed before normal work hours on day of service (left voice mail message). Received response from Mr. Darnell just before 8:00 AM. who arranged for immediate service appointment. After brief explananation of plumbing problems encountered (stopped up toilet and gurgling in master bath drain line), Mr. Darnell found the appropriate entry point and purged the drain line of impediments. Mr. Darnell was pleased to accept a personal check for services rendered.

This was sort of a last minute request on my part. Tim was up for it and did the work quickly and efficiently. I would definitely call him again. A+

Very professional from start to finish. Punctual and cleaned up after the job was completed. Awesome work, he is our "official" plumber.

Tim Darnell is about as professional as they come, but he went beyond that. He never dilly-dallied for one second. He works fast because he's being respectful of your time and money. I will be referring him to friends and family, and have of course stored his number in my phone. To top it all off, he unclogged my bathtub at no extra charge. That's real service. Ben Causey

He was very pleasant and personable. He worked very hard when he came out to my home and I like him very much, but he was unable to fine the leak in the bathroom and the bedroom. He was able to switch some things in the toilet so that it would not run constantly. I would not call him back out in the future.
