"Mrs. [member name remove] According to your insurance, you have been opening multiple claims since 2008 with different contractors knowing that you have been previously paid. I don't understand where it wasn't clear, [member name remove] and yourself were present when the adjuster stated that you have been paid for that roof previously. At that point there wasn't anything that needed to be discuss in regards to your insurance claim since once again the adjuster stated that they were not going to pay you twice on that roof. One of the options you do have was pay out of pocket for the re-roof of your home If anyone should be upset it should be us at Palafox Roofing for being misinformed about all the previous claims you had opened with different roofing companies and knowing that you had already been paid for that said roof."

The original $99 deal was done very well. The subsequent project was much more eventful.
I agreed to several projects in accordance with damage found and reported to insurance. They included the following:
Roof replacement; Gutter replacement; Exterior house painting; and Fence replacement. Although I can only give one grade for this review, I will actually give a grade for each project in this detail.
Roof Replacement - B Very good job and oversight. Friendly and professional workers. Timely job and good cleanup. The only thing that drops the grade to B is that the price, if not covered by insurance, may be a bit high.
Gutter replacement- A Details mirror the roof. Price may be high but the gutters look great and match the paint job perfectly.
Exterior Painting - A This was the first project done and they were excellent. Taping was superb. Professional. Great start.
Fence Replacement - D This is where it all fell apart. I share a fence with 3 neighbors. Due to this, I did an "identical" replacement and painted my side. This crew was not professional, timely, had poor cleanup, and ultimately required 3 different crews to complete the job. This was due to complaints by 2 neighbors and myself, who were unhappy with the workmanship and requested different people to "fix" the fence. It was clear that the original crew was not a professional fence building team. This was admitted by Palafox after the fact. Despite being replaced, the 2nd crew didn't fare much better. Although they tried to please everyone, it wasn't going to happen. There were too many problems to go into but the fence was finally completed. Palafox did replace my old fence with a new one with steel posts. However, the crews were not very professional, they did sloppy work and didn't clean up very well; they pickets aren't straight in may instances; they didn't remove many of the old posts. You get the idea. It's a new fence and it has steel posts but it's a job I could have done myself if I had the time and patience. And again, for the price, I expected much better. I just think that, despite having a "General Contractor" license, fence-building is not their thing.
Bottom Line. If you need a roof, gutter or exterior house painting done, Palafox probably will do a great job for you. Any other house or construction work, I'd suggest you look elsewhere.
