It went well. I had had several past experiences with clogs in the same drain.I released those clogs with soda and vinegar or boiling water. This time my home remedies did not work. I took several of the pipes under the sink apart, but couldn't find the clog. When I tried to put the pipes back, two of them would not stay screwed together. Leak Geeks came when they said they would and tried a couple of methods to release the clog. Thankfully, the second method worked (after several attempts). The plumber (Michael) was very professional, answering my questions and coming back when scheduled due to a very minor problem. I plan to call them again if I have any plumbing problems.

I have personnally contacted MOEN on two occasions and they mentioned the FACT that the entire and quot;Mounting Handle Bracketand quot; has to be replaced because they know of this particular problem with the handles. In fact, MOEN has actually REPLACED this particular model with CA-7835 that has better working parts and less problems. MOEN actually sent me the NEW faucet, but Leak Geeks wants to charge me $ 265 to install. I told Leak Geeks to REPLACE the broken and quot;Mounting Handle Bracketand quot; but after 4 calls since 9 January 2010 they keep making excuses not to fix the problem

NOTE:

Leak Geek Plumbing did make amends and CREDITED me 50 percent of monies I previously paid. Leak Geek Plumbing needs to be recognized for their efforts to correct my complaints.

I did contract another plumber for the MOEN faucet install at the cost of only $ 100 as I mentioned in my recent reviews.

"You were given bids for replacing free parts plus labor costs or installing a new faucet. You had us order the warranty parts and in the mean while had Moen send you a new faucet for no charge. You then decided you wanted the new faucet installed instead instead of the replacement parts. You did not want to pay the bid price difference to install a new faucet minus what you already spent. That is why we have up front pricing so that you have that option and are not blind sided later. We were very pro active about listening to your complaints and finding a resolution. We issued you a refund for 50% of what we charged for our time, wages, gas and insurance. You were happy with the decision and stated that you would consider this matter closed. These remarks do not reflect the out come of our efforts to resolve this matter. We would ask that you reconsider your thoughts on rating your experience with Leak Geeks a D. Our family does own and operate this business. We are very proud of the moral and ethical code in which we follow. You can see this with the A ratings we have received previously."

I had a leaky external faucet and didn't know whether it needed to be replaced or could be repaired. Leak Geeks showed up despite the weather (rainy and cold). I had to reschedule via email at the last minute and received a confirmation email the next morning...the technician arrived precisely on time. Because of the weather the plumber brought his own doormat to my door and insisted on wearing cloth overshoes to protect my wood flooring. (What a cool way to differentiate your business!) Plumber was able to repair the problem without replacing the faucet and also provided an estimate for downstream replacement. I was delighted with the services rendered and Leak Geeks professionalism.
