Handy Hank arrived on time and was very professional. He explained to me how the dimmer switch would work with my other light switch in the kitchen on the other entry way into the kitchen. He cleaned up after his work and I would definitely use him again!

Hank made an appointment two week ahead to install fan because he was in middle of some other jobs.
He was here on the day of the appointment as promised and did an excellent job.

Impossible to close gate. Gate installed approx 4 years ago so called the fence company. Knowing it was out of warranty, offered to pay to have it repaired or install a new gate. They don't do small jobs and gave me the name of the man who does this short of work for them. He never returned my 2 calls. Called a handyman recommended by a neighbor, he never returned my call. I was at a loss who to call next. I was concerned my dogs could get out or more important, because gate was not locked, anyone could come into my back yard. Then remembered I had become a member of Angie's List when it was offered on groupon in March. Called and received a very detailed email listing 7 handymen in my area. First one I called answered his phone. Unfortunately, could not fit me into his schedule for at least 2 weeks. Then I called Henry. He returned my call in less than 15 minutes. He came the next afternoon to see the gate problem. He also noticed the post not stable and asked if I wanted that fixed. He came back the next morning and fixed everything. I definitely recommend Henry and I will call him for future repairs. I am so thankful for Angie's List.

The work of the man who came out was great. It went really well. He was awesome. His price was not just for the labor but it included the cost of everything. He was very professional, very creative, very smart and good. I would hire him again in the future for sure.

He does a great job that's clean, fast and professional! We are very happy and satisfied with his work. He shows you and explains the "what he did and why he did it the way he did". Excellent!

Hank repair a new ceiling fan that was not working properly. He had to climb a ladder to reach the 11 foot ceiling and R/R wiring.
It worked the first time.
Very pleased with his work and would definitely use him again.

I was feeling adventurous, so I switched out back doors, removing a doggie door and installing the original door. But when I finished, the door would not close. I had no clue was was wrong or what to do, but I knew the thought of going through the night with the back door open wasn't something I wanted to happen.
Henry said he'd just finished a job at the fire dept. and had about an hour before a scheduled appointment, but that he'd be right over. Henry arrived a few minutes later and within 15 minutes diagnosed the problem, had the door closing and two locks installed. I am very grateful to Henry, he understood my dilema and was willing to alter his plans to help me. It's not very often you find this type of customer service--THANK YOU SO MUCH HENRY!

Got in - got out. Fixed it right. Very reasonable.

Henry developed an alternative design to use standard, less expensive components and performed the replacement as proposed.

He came in and I told him the problem. He came up with a neat idea for a free standing stove to be installed into the counter space where the drop in stove once stood. He cut the hole out, assembled and hooked up the free standing stove. He made it look very professional and I was very impressed with his rates and work. He is a very polite guy and did great work. Also, he made the job look very easy. The stove looks great and looks like a built in stove (counter space on both sides).
