Ill get straight to the point. Xavier was great! (Phone rep) I have had a technician come out 7 times in the last two mths and the issue is still not fixed. Female customer service rep I spoke with was very passive aggressive and snarky. Technicians are nice but don't seem to have much knowledge. Use them at your own risk. Id say 0 stars if I could. Oh and Reliant please spare me the excuses and BS. I see you still lack accountability even when replying to ratings.

This company is a FRAUD and I am in the process of taking them to court. They sold us 2 brand new units 2 year ago with 10year warranty promise, they were so responsive and pleasant until we paid them. Two years later one of the units broke and they made us wait for a week in 100 degree weather since we are not their priority anymore, they are too busy trapping new customers. One week later they came and pretended to repair, yet nothing was fixed and still is broken 2 weeks later. Absolutely incompetent technicians and terrible rude customer service until you buy from them. Now they refuse to complete the repair and want us to pay $1200 for Freon that was lost due to the faulty unit that they installed. Please, stay away from them, don’t make the same mistake I did. Even in the warranty work they will take advantage of you. And you “UN- RELIANT ” …. Get ready to be served!

There are not enough 5 STARS here! We had to replace both systems in our house. Bobby Gerstner was our advisor and he was outstanding!!!! Totally understood our issue and made great recommendations. He set up the BEST crew of 4 men to do the install. Adrion and his team were amazing. So professional and courteous!!! HIGHLY recommend these guys?

Id give 0 stars if that was an option. The website says 100% customer satisfaction guaranteed, im here to tell you thats 100% bulls***. This company could care less about the consumer. My home is D R Horton an upon my 11 month inspection reliant hvac (whom are contracted with dr horton) came to fix a request under warranty. Upon the tech fixing that request as soon as he left i noticed an issue that i did NOT have prior to him coming i immediately texted the service number asking could he come back but did not hear back until the next day. A new tech came to look at this issue and told me he couldn’t do much but he wld try, after this tech left i noticed that my home was now taking significantly longer to cool down, again, this had NEVER happened prior to him coming. I called a few days later and was informed that i would be charged $99 for a fee because they “keep coming for the same issue” which is bs. These were things that happened AFTER their technicians left my home. If a company causes a problem they should pay for it not the consumer. I spoke with the customer service manager, candace, who told me she “understood” but in the same breath also told me i could utilize another company which i felt was VERY rude. She kept claiming to “understand” but made it clear that reliant hvac company’s primary concern is THEIR business, not the consumer. She said she could not and would not send a tech to my home for free . So they’re ok with messing up the air conditioner in your home but expect you to pay for it even though you did nothing wrong. So if they cause some sort of issue, understand YOU will pay for it. The best Candace offered me was $40 off the fee which she made sure to remind me she wasn’t legally obligated to do so which was also rude. I decided to pass out of fear because I honestly felt if another reliant hvac tech came to my home they’d purposely sabotage my air unit. Ultimately i found another company that had excellent customer service and fixed my issue with no problem. I really hope D R Horton terminates their contract with this company so that other residents don’t have to undergo such brutal mistreatment.

I tried to give Reliant another chance after they fixed their screw up that left me without A/C for 2 weeks in late June. However, I am here to say that I am done with them. After jerking me around (incompetent seasonal servicing that failed to detect what another A/C tech found within 5 minutes, along with a totally botched parts order that elongated the repair and the time I went without working A/C unit), I came to find out that they raised my seasonal service contract rate WITHOUT INFORMING ME! They just took the money out of my account like I would not notice (and a 50% increase at that). You would think that 1) they would tell people about the cost increase before taking the money, and 2) after how they messed over me I would have thought that should have garnered me some goodwill in terms of the increase. No on both counts. So when I called about the charge to my account (which is when I first heard about the increased cost) I told them that I was not willing to give them more money when I wasn't getting what I should have from the lesser amount I had been paying. They assured me (relative term with these folks) they would put my cancellation through and refund the money. Well, apparently the woman who oversees the seasonal service club knew I wanted the contract cancelled but didn't realize I wanted my $360 refunded. This sounds SO MUCH like this outfit. Just now I was told in order to get my refund I had to pay a balance due I had of $.40. Yes, that's right. These clowns would not refund me my money until I authorized them to charge my card for $.40! Anyone out there considering these fools - RUN!

I would not suggest this company to anyone! They take advantage of their long-term customers with predatory pricing when they installed the part and have the connection with the warranty coverage. Their price with the "part covered under warranty" was significantly more expensive than multiple competitor bids where the competitor had to include the ~$1000 cost of the part. They wouldn't even order the part for me under warranty for a fee and let me handle the install. Unethical business practices in my opinion. I will never use them again, and would advise others not to as well!

They were professional.

They are dishonest when it comes to their "Hero Club." The prices for service and parts are marked up so they can give you a "discount" with the Hero Club, where you pay around $20 monthly for regular servicing. It's a month to month service that you can supposedly cancel at any time. What is never communicated is that if your financial situation changes or you sell the house before the year is out, they will make you pay the amount they discounted. This is never explained and there are no terms/conditions/explanations of the program in writing to refer to or understand what you're agreeing to. The tech also had no firm grasp of the program or any of the fine print. Appalling bait and switch.

What I once thought was a good company with great customer service has turned horrible! HORRIBLE customer service with a rude young girl who answers phones. Hero program is A JOKE! Last technician that performed "service" did NOT even check to see if system worked and actually asked me if "he should just fix all the things while he was up in attic or write them down and let me know".. this was a service call, nothing was wrong with unit l!!! Until he "serviced" it. And no, I would not like you to "fix" anything without telling me so you can charge me. He also told me ("predicted") that my unit wouldn't make it through winter? (It's 7 yes old) And he was correct -whatever he did to "service" my unit made it not work a week later when temperatures dropped and needed it. My boyfriend has recently also has had problems for his residence and business accounts with their service (customer service) Plain and simple something has happened to this company and not in a good way

We had a new AC system installed by Reliant 2 years ago. During the heat wave of the summer of 2022, we couldn’t get our home cooler than 88 degrees! We thought it was just because of the heat wave, but some of our friends said they didn’t have any problem cooling their homes. We decided to call Reliant back out to check things out. We were told that the coil needed replacing and that the part was under warranty, but after spending $1260 on the labor, there was no improvement. We had another company come out to give their opinion, and he said that it was very unlikely that coil would have gone bad in just two years. After we contacted the management of Reliant, some of their managers came out to assess the problem. They discovered some other issues with the original installation. Not only they refunded the $1260 spent for the labor for the coil, but they took care of all the other issues and even replaced all of our vents with new ones. Now we’re considering to enroll in their maintenance program because of their good service. They really stand behind their products! You won’t go wrong with Reliant!

Tech was very professional and knew the systems well. Gave me great advice on things I could do as a homeowner to make sure systems run smoothly.

It was time for our spring check up on our air conditioner and heating system. Sean was very professional and friendly, he installed a filter for us which was nice because we are not going out because of Covid. He showed us what he found, and was very clear. We appreciate his service and diligence during this inspection. Reliant has always done a great job for us. We recommend them highly.

I am writing to make a formal complaint against Reliant Air Conditioning. I had the entire unit replaced on 3/19/2020. I was told that the system was installed up to code. I felt more comfortable with this as I was also told that I would have an inspection performed by the city. This was supposed to be set up by Reliant. However, it never was and I was rudely informed that I had missed the deadline by reliant after it was several months overdue. The inspection performed by the city of Fort Worth lasted less than 5 minutes and he specifically told me that I was up to code. However, that was not the case. Initially, I did not have any issues with the company except with scheduling follow-up appointments. I was able to schedule my first seasonal tune up but was never able to schedule my second one. This was something that I had been told was included in the cost of the unit. I never received this second tune up. Further when I called to discuss this issue I was informed by a very rude “gate keeper” that they were no longer scheduling tune ups for the entire year. My attempts to speak to a manager or supervisor were unsuccessful. I would go into more detail but my current, more pressing complaint, is that I was just informed by a licensed HVAC professional that none of my system was installed correctly or up to code. The current estimate to get to the bare minimum of safety is $1000. Some issues include: incorrectly installed gas sediment trap, flu pipe that is wobbly and not attached, incorrect number of straps to support the evaporator coil, lack of straps to support the supply and return, a shipping bracket was never removed from the blower, incorrect screws on the hanging straps so that they are actually coming out of the wood, did not remove tar paper resulting in a possible fire hazard, incorrect attachment for condensation drain and joints were not glued, armor flex was not taped by approved tape, incorrect attachment on the high pressure copper refrigerant line, and a leaning unit. I was told that all of these could result in significant damage to my home including flooding and ceiling failure, or my own illness or death if the gas line fails due to incorrect installation. To say that I am appalled is an understatement. Further, none of this was “discovered” when a second person from Reliant came out to complete the first seasonal tune up. My attempts to reach the company has so far been unsuccessful. I have completely lost faith in the company and am not sure that I am even comfortable with them performing the repairs. I assumed that since they are licensed and approved by both Angi and the better business bureau that I would at least have an install that was safe for my health. I was incorrect and am very upset that this company is in a position to continue to take advantage of others. Also, I have been unable to find the phone number for the Texas department of license and registration on my paperwork from them and believe that this is illegal.

Technician was very knowledgeable and found issue very quickly. Was very honest and did not recommend any additional work apart from changing filters. Gave good recommendations to fix issue.

Tec knew exactly what was wrong with my unit making a noise. He adjusted the vent for air flow and was done. I would recommend this company for service anytime. I spent some time working on ac/heat unit I had no idea what was wrong other then it was air flow

Francisco is an outstanding technician. I had several questions for him and he answered them in great detail and was extremely helpful. I have used Reliant for the last four years for our annual air conditioning and heating check up. I love their package deal and they always do an outstanding job. I highly recommend Reliant.

We use Reliant for seasonal inspective and service for our HVAC system. They always schedule and are on time when they say they are coming. Their techs are friendly and quick. We will continue to use their service in the future!

They completed the checks on three systems, cleaned up several things behind the previous installation crews, and fixed a few things leftover from the install. We’ve used Reliant for years and the are always very professional and reliable. Lapolina has been out to our house twice and is always professional and knowledgeable about keeping our system in great condition. Highly recommend Reliant and their Heroes program.

Eddie was super. The guy knows what he is doing. We have had some issues with Reliant in the past, but they do a great job of rectifying those issues. We need quite a bit of work done on our AC unit and I am confident that Reliant is the company to use to get it done.
