Mark Ondras Plumbing

I called Mark because American Home Warranty (which I have at the time of this review) could not find a plumbing service to expidte my service request! Noting was draining in the hosue, sewage was backing up into the bathtubs and showers and the earliest time I could get from "AHS" was 4 days later. Fortunately I immediately went to Angie's List and found Mark!!! I am so glad I did. When my wife spoke to him on the phone, she had a good feeling about him. Not only did he arrive within 2 hrs of our call, he knew and understood our need for help. When he arrived, she was so right! Not only did he arrive when he told us he could, he was professional, got straight to work and was done promptly. Mark is the MOST honest Service Professional in the industry, any industry. No other plumber will walk through our doors so long as Marl Ondras is in business.

Checked rental house for water leak/s but couldn't find a problem. Recommended to call city and have them check the water meter. Found meter was bad and replaced it.

Once again Mark Ondras Plumbing has come through for us. They replaced our leaking garbage disposal less than four hours after our call, pretty good for a non-emergency. The price was reasonable and the techs polite and efficient. They even resolved another issue before it became an issue. After several service calls over the last few years for this, that and the other thing, we highly recommend them.

I called Mark and left a message, and he called back the next day and gave me his estimate ($85 for a service call + the cost of the new drain). We scheduled the repair for a day later that week. Todd arrived right on time and had everything done in under an hour. He was courteous and professional. The whole process was easy and painless; I will definitely call Mark again.

A baseboard nail hit the 1/2" copper pipe under bathroom sink 5 months ago. I have the both wall open already, trying to fix it myself with a Sharkbite connector. Not successful since the pipe is no longer in round shape. Mark came and cut the non-round shape part, use hammer jack to dig a hole on the ground so that the round shape part could be soldered. Eventually solder it. Not a big job since I have done a lot pre-work beforehand.

I had a new high efficiency toilet i needed installed to replace my old one. Mark returned call promptly. I set appt. Todd came out today for the install. Very friendly, prompt, professional. Reasonable price. Excited to be rid of my old water guzzling 1952 toilet. Thanks guys!!

Mark was referred to me by a friend, and now I know why. We had a clogged kitchen drain which I had been working on for seven hours, with no luck. I called Mark, and he said his guy, Austin, would be out within an hour. Austin showed up on time, was very friendly and professional. He explained everything he was going to do, and took great care to keep things clean. An hour later, he had the drain cleared, and did a great job cleaning what mess there was. This was our first time using a Plummer since moving to the area, and were concerned someone would take advantage of us. We were very happy with Austin's service and professionalism, and will call again if we find ourselves in need. I will recommend Mark Ondras Plumming to any friend of mine who needs the help of a Plummer.

The complication on this job worth mentioning is that the HWH closet was in an addition we had build about 20 years ago. Honestly, I don't think we had ever replaced this heater, so this was the first time. I don't know if the original contractor built the cabinet around the heater or what, but there was no way the new heater was going to fit through that door. Bad news for us, but Mark worked around it and got the job done. What happened: We discussed and concluded the best way to solve was if he cut out part of the door frame, as neatly as possible, so that eventually a carpenter could reconstruct the frame and the door to eliminate the problem. Although it really had nothing to do with the heater itself, Mark cut the frame evenly, and installed the heater. Of course I wish the heater would have fit through the door, but given it was not, this was a very good solution. There is only one difference between Mark working on my problem and me working on my problem. That difference is that Mark knows what he's doing. What I mean by that is, he approached the problem and the solution as if he was trying to fix his own HWH. he was looking for a way to cause minimal disruption, and still get the heater in so we were back in business, That's all you can ask of someone. I have used him about 3 times over a number of years, and have found him to be an honest, competent guy. Definitely a recommend.

He tells me a lot of stories and is a great guy. He is really easy to work with; worked around my schedule.The biggest thing that no one tunneled under my house all the way to the street. He with honestly and expertise saved me thousands of dollars.

Found Mr. Ondraa in May when we had a plumbing emergency at 5pm on a Friday night! He told us what to do to get through the night and he arrived first thing Saturday morning, fixed the problem and his charges were more than fair! New issue with leaky hot water heater, he is now my go to guy for anything plumbing related, once again he came out and fixed the problem! He is awesome, I wish that there was one of him in every field.

I called Mark at 7:30 am on Monday morning. He promised he'd fit me in that day and showed up around 11am the same day. He was able to fine the issue and clear out the line in a matter of 20-30 minutes. He didn't have the supplies on him but said he'd send some of his team out to repair the actual leak later that day. Sure enough his crew came out around 5:00pm and corrected the problem. I'm glad to have found a dependable plumber that isn't a rip off. Mark and his team provide good service at a reasonable price. I would definitely recommend them and will be using them in the future. I found my new plumber.

During the repair if a rotted sub-floor, I managed to break the closet bend and the PVC flange. After some searching, I had several quotes ranging from $350-$550...for a $10 part! Feeling extremely dejected and just waiting for the "I told you so" from the spouse, I contacted a family friend on the last ditch hope that he might know someone. Well he did! Mark came to the rescue the same evening I called and fixed the closet elbow in about 20 minutes. He then came back a few days later after I completed the sub-floor work to install the new flange, again in about 20 minutes. He was prompt, polite and a great guy! I cannot say enough good things and I will for sure be using him in the future for my plumbing needs!

great! We were pleasantly surprised by the low cost for the repairs (I can't remember how much it was now, but it was very reasonable.)

It never fails that you need a plumber on a holiday weekend and today was no exception. I called Mark at 5:00 pm on a Saturday for a clogged kitchen clean-out and although he had several calls before mine, he had both the kitchen clean out and sewer line cleared and was gone before 9:00. I have used Mark for 10+ years and have always been satisfied with the work he and his employees do for me. I love the fact that his rates are the same regardless of the day/time of the service call and that he doesn't take advantage of a bad situation.

He is absoutely the best. A+ in ever facet of what he does.

In 13 years of Ondras doing various plumbing work for us, we have never been remotely dissatisfied, even once.

Mark & his employees are efficient, knowledgeable & prompt. We have used them 3 times & are always pleased w/their professionalism. Last time, Mark came out at 8:30 AM on a Sunday morning & had the line cleared w/in 30 minutes!

We needed two separate repairs/replace and contacted him on Tuesday morning. By afternoon he was at our home, and completed the projects quickly and efficiently and with with an emphasis on returning the area to clean! Mark is a great plumber, and a nice guy. This is the second small project we needed completed and I will defintely hire him again.

As plumbing jobs go, this was probably a pretty easy one (installation of 4 new faucets) but we were shocked at the estimates we got from several different plumbers - from $620 to almost $1000!!!! This company did it for $350 and did a terrific job. They were very easy to work with, responsive, on time, friendly and customer service oriented. Our regular plumber (now previous!) estimate $750 for the job. Believe me Mark Ondras Plumbing will be our go to plumber from here on out!

He and a helper arrived at the scheduled time, evaluated the problem and were able to correct the problem right then. Our gasket around the tolet had broken and the tank had a leak. They corrected both problems and also re-attached the water valve for the tolet, this broke off unexpectedly. Wonderful company!!

after going through a terrible 1st plumber, I got Mark's phone number from a friend. He called me back right away and his crew came out evaluated the problem and fixed everything immediately.

Our "forever" Moen faucet in the kitchen broke (a cheap plastic part inside), just as we're ready to start cooking for guests. No water is not good. Called Mark Ondras Plumbing (from Angie's List). Todd came by in an hour, and advised us to go out and buy a new faucet, as Moen's are very time-consuming to assemble - if you have the right parts. Good advice. A quick trip to Lowe's, and a phone call to the plumber - he came right over. Very nice, funny, talkative guy. The work was done promptly and cleanly , and the "evil" Moen faucet has been removed from the premises. Thank you Todd (and your employer)!

Can't think of anything to add. Mark was very thourough when explaining everything that needed to be done, and what expectations should be. All work was carried out accordingly and in timely manner. Very pleased. Compared to some other quotes, Mark was lower price, friendly and careful to keep work areas clean.

I made a reference on Angie’s List because I wanted to call someone out. I have used them before, but I have other issues now and I wanted to call them again. It was a great experience. They came in, in a timely fashion and took care of things. They replaced the hot water heater and did everything that was needed to be done. They came in to give me a quote and told me that they could actually do it right then if I wanted them to do it so I got it done right then. They are very reputable and well known in the community as I understand. They just take care of things in a timely fashion.
