"Accu-Find Slab Leak is a plumbing company that specializes in leak detection and repair of water and sewer lines under slab foundations in homes. In our years of experience when water damaged floor is present usually the first step is to test the water and sewer line as were were hired to do. Since the water and sewer line testing indicated no leaks the next step would probably be to check drainage around the house and and make sure the proper type of vapor barrier was used between the floor and the slab. We have also been told that a lack of or improperly installed vapor barrier below the slab during construction can contribute to or cause moisture to migrate up through the slab and cause water damage. These are all out of our area of expertise. We appreciate the opportunity to perform the plumbing test and unfortunately we are unable to further advise you on how to resolve the problem. Thank You Barry Leach/President"
"Thank You for the nice review and the opportunity to perform the work"
"Customer service and taking care of our customers' home and property is of the utmost importance to Accu-Find. Upon notification of the problem, we immediately sent a restoration company and we paid the bill of $3500. We also filed a claim with our liability insurance carrier. The facts were discovered that the homeowner voluntarily poured water into the washer drain during our investigation testing. The owner apparently removed the washer drain hose to pour the water and did not replace it. Our technicians were not aware that the washer drain hose was not returned to its proper position. We have worked with both insurance companies to try to help resolve the issue, and to our knowledge the investigation is still ongoing. We have not ignored any attempts by the owner to contact us, nor have we been contacted since the issue took place in September of 2013. As a privately owned, family operated company, we recognize the importance of customer service and doing the right thing for our clients. With this case, along which the thousands of others we have encountered during the past 20+ years in business, we have learned that every job is unique and there is always an opportunity to improve and learn from our experiences. The constant throughout the years is to maintain superior customer service and always take responsibility for our actions. The Accu-Find track record is a testament to our mission and we respectfully request anyone reading this review consider all of the facts before determining our company values and service.
