I would not recommend them.
Again, this was my first interaction with Angies List. It not only affected my feelings about this moving company, it tarnished my confidence in Angies List. I have not been back to your website since.
"Sorry for the confusion, for such a high stress important move why did you wait till the day before to book the move? All we had open was late afternoon spots for next day service, this is what happens when you wait till the last min to book and there is 2 jobs before you. Yes we were running 1.5 hours behind and im very sorry you were not able to wait for us to get there. Next time it is a rush rush with no delays make sure you book well in advance and get first spot in the morning."
Moving crew arrived as scheduled and worked non-stop! How they got it done I'll never know.

Obviously this company's specialty is moving, not cleaning. I contacted this company because it seemed that they specialized in move out cleaning and haul away, which is what I required. I had quite a bit of boxes and trash in the attic and garage that I needed taken away, plus overall move out cleaning. I was told that this could be done on my sized house in 2-3 hours by a two-man team. The house is a very small 2 bdrm, 1 bath house. I needed the carpets vacuumed, baseboards and window ledges cleaned (walls had been freshly painted already), bathroom and kitchen cleaned bathroom and kitchen floor cleaned. Also, a little bit of pantry clean-out (a few spices & food items). I left them to do the work and when I didn't hear back from them for 5 hours, I returned to the house. They had cleared out the attic (about 8-10 garbage bags and 12-15 small boxes of stuff) and had left all of this in the living room. They had cleaned the bathroom, vacuumed only two rooms, cleaned the window ledges in two rooms, removed the dishwasher, and were starting on the kitchen cleanup. After realizing that 10 man-hours had been spent doing only this, I told them to just finish up and leave, as I was way over on what I thought this would cost. I will now have to clean the house myself or hire another crew, and I will still have to haul away the trash, since I didn't want to pay another $150-$200 for this service. They didn't even haul away the dishwasher that they had removed, even though it was sitting nest to their trash trailer - they put it in my garage. Along with the trash that they were supposed to remove from the garage. Very unhappy with this service.
"I think there was some communication issues here, We blocked 6 hours off for your cleaning service and only used 4.5 hours. We also told you the trash haul off prices were on added to the cleaning service cost. Depending on how much of the trash trailer you filled up depended on the cost of the use of the trash trailer. The reason we didnt haul anything off in the trash trailer is because you said you didnt want to pay for it. So we moved everything to the garage for you. You said it was a small 2 bed 1 bath house, in the review you said 2 rooms and the bathroom were done and they were working on the kitchen. With the remaining 1.5 hours we had blocked off for the service this should have been done. The attic was pretty rough and took time to clean out as it looked as if someone was living up there will a million rodents. I wish you would have given our office a call to give us a chance to earn a better review but this is the first I heard you were not happy with the service. Best of luck."

I'd never hired movers before and didn't know what to expect, especially when they were paid by the hour (not the job). I was so impressed with the two movers from Midnight Hour Moving! They literally never stopped moving the entire time they were working with us. They broke down a bed, moved it, and re-assembled it, in addition to moving various other furniture and boxes. We weren't moving far, but still I was very impressed that they got everything done in exactly two hours. Whenever we move again, I will definitely be calling them again.
I sent an e-mail mid-Friday morning (Dec. 23) and had a response very quickly. We were expecting to have to wait until after the holiday to get everything moved, but they had an opening for Christmas Eve, at 8 a.m. I was impressed with their willingness to work with us on such short notice.
I gave them a list of the items we would need moved (and of course forgot things), and was given an estimate of 2-3 hours, along with a price quote for a 2 man crew.
The guys showed up a bit before 8, I showed them what we needed them to move, and they got started right away. A little less than an hour later, everything was packed up. Moving the stuff into the new house was more difficult, as most of the furniture needed to be moved to the second floor. The guys also moved a ton of furniture, that we had already brought into the house, from the first floor to the second. They took care to protect the walls and stair railing. I was particularly impressed that they were able to move our elliptical up the stairs - I can barely lift up one end enough adjust it.
2 1/2 hours total, and everything was moved! I was very happy. They worked very quickly and efficiently, and moved more than I had originally asked them too. I would be thrilled to hire them again.
On the day of the move, he called us to let us know that they were running a few minutes late, which we greatly appreciated. The gentlemen who moved us were very nice and careful with our things. Our one issue was that the time estimated to move our belongings was greatly underestimated. We did have quite a bit of furniture, but the estimated time was 4 hours and the actual time was more like 9 hours. This happened because all of our things didn't fit into the truck on the first load, so they had to go back for the rest of our belongings in our apartment and storage unit in the middle of Dallas rush hour.
All this being said, we would still use them in the future because we were overall extremely happy with the experience.
