"Thank you for the feedback and we really appreciate you taking the time to share it with us. When the car was towed in you indicated it had a blown hose. We checked your vehicle and found that the hose came off because the part that it attaches to had rotted away from the intake manifold at the top of the engine. The car had been severely overheated and had also been sitting for a number of months. We advised you at that time to NOT repair the vehicle because it was unknown if the overheating condition had caused damage to the engine and we could not properly test the system without first fixing the intake manifold and hose. We discussed with you that there would be additional repairs needed from the very beginning of our conversations. The intake manifold and hose repair was a large repair to begin with. We discouraged you from doing anything to the vehicle because of the condition it was in we didn’t feel the repairs were worth the investment in the car. We avoided any repairs that did not contribute to the vehicle starting and running. The repairs that were recommended at the same time as the intake manifold and are still very important, but were NOT performed due to their being considered non-essential to the car running were upper and lower ball joints and fluid flushes. Again, we advised against repairing this car because there were just too many unknowns with the vehicle, however you and your husband insisted that we go ahead with the repair. Per your instructions we repaired the intake manifold and the hoses, replaced the battery, and got the car up and running. Once the car was running we were able to test the system properly and found two additional leaks from the radiator and the engine timing cover. Those two repairs were not able to be left undone as they were essential to the car being able to be driven. You requested that we repair those leaks so we obliged. There was also a window repair that you had requested in addition to the other repairs. We made recommendations that this vehicle was not worth repairing. We let you know from the beginning that the probability of additional repairs was high. We work very hard to make sure that our customers have all the facts prior to any repair so educated decisions can be made."

"[member name removed], Our sincere apologies that you were not given options on your oil change, it is our policy to do so and we will work hard to communicate in the future. In reviewing your oil change we used the factory recommended oil which is the Motorcraft Semi-Synthetic 5w20. Ford does gives an option to use a standard oil and you should have been made aware of that. We stock a standard petroleum oil in the correct weight that will save you $13.68. If you chose to continue with the standard weight oil we will discount your next visit to make up for the difference. Thank you for the feedback."

While the car was being tested, we were dropped off in a nearby mall (in their car) to spend time. We watched a movie and then called their number. Their driver picked us up and took us back.
They had done all the required things and since nothing was replaced and we had purchased their special from Angie's list, they didnt charge us a penny!
Best service, really nice people, and honest work. A bit far from medical center, but will definitely go there again.
