Water heater less than 3 years old (installed by someone else). Quick response and scheduling, technician arrives before the stated window. (A little inconvenient since had gone to work, but better early than late.) Technician was pleasant and polite. He spent very brief time looking at the water heater, and as I found out later, did NO troubleshooting. I mentioned two things because they had seemed relevant to provide scope - (that I eventually wanted to get tankless water heater a 2-3 years down the road and that I was unhappy with flooring under water heater.) I asked if they would have to remove the water heater to repair, because if so, I may take the opportunity to fix floor underneath. He said they may have to drain a little water (what?!). Before I knew it, the session had spiraled out of control and he got confused, and spent a lot of time talking me out of the tankless water heater and estimating those costs (though I told him repeatedly that wasn't on the table) and then deciding they should remove the water heater, I should call in tile people and fix floor, and they should then reconnect the water heater. I kept trying to rein him back in to no avail. It was very frustrating. So finally to get the quote, I asked for quote WITH removal, and one with replacing the part only. To replace the part, LABOR ONLY (since part covered by warranty) was $408. After paying the $69 service fee (which was perfectly reasonable but should've been mentioned when I made the appointment) told him I would get a second opinion. He left, and left the cover off the heater controls, and did not tell me he had turned of the gas to the unit. I googled the issue, watch a youtube video. Per the video, I swished a dishbrush under the unit to make sure air vent not blocked. After three seconds of that, (and once I figured out he'd turned of the gas without letting me know) pilot light lit right up and has stayed lit for the past week. In hindsight, I am a bit grateful for his too talkative, car salesman approach, because it made me suspicious. Otherwise I might've paid $408 (plus $69) for a repair that literally cost $0 to fix.

They came on time, and our only problem was with the pricing. The actual work was actually around three minutes, they charge me for a total of around more than $200. They charged for an hour rate plus the service fee, they did not wave the service.

They seem to do a really good job and they know what they are doing.

I had several estimates, and theirs was fair. They showed up on time, and they showed up on time and were very considerate of the inside of my home.

The plumber spent less than 30 minutes fixing the leak (10-15 minutes figuring out what was wrong, 15 minutes putting in the new part). He spent an hour buying the part from a local HomeDepot about five minutes from the house. And then, wanted to charge me for two hours of time versus the 1.5 hrs he was engaged.

There was a clean out in the back yard, but they were unable to find it. In their defense, I showed them the area, but they dug and dug without success. They also hammered and dug up part of my pea gravel, partially replacing it with concrete. There was a huge pile of dirt and then it rained, leaving mud all over the patio and everything else. They did clear a pipe that ran under the house and the washing machine is draining. I had to pressure wash the patio and the flower bed is totally wiped out.

Tech was knowledgeable, friendly and professional. He did the work quickly and efficiently.

Called Local Union hall for referral, was given this company as a signatory and contacted them. They scheduled me for next day, showed up on time, did a good job had to replace additional pipe leading into house- home over 80 years old- that broke while replacing main valve. In summation, this company took care of business.
