Terrific.  Professional and knowledgeable.  Customer-service oriented.  No complaints.  Highly recommend.

They were there exactly when they said they would be and did such a good job.  Repaired some problems under the floor that I didn't expect them to, so the carpet would lay properly.  It looks and feels fabulous!  Not the cheapest, but worth the money.

The people from Venetian Blind Carpet One Floor & Home did a good job at first. But 6 months later, the cork flooring in the kitchen started buckling/bubbling up. I called them as the flooring had a year's warranty. They did not take responsibility and asked for an additional $5000. We believe that they did not leave a gap between the flooring and the wall for it to expand during the season change. When the weather changed then it started bubbling up. We had cabinets installed after the floor was installed and now we cannot remove the floor because of the cabinets. They did not want to redo it at their expense. They asked for more and said that it would be our job to take care of the cabinets while they work on the floor I did not agree as it would be more work and I left it as it is. The floor has not been fixed as of yet.

I loved my sales associate Matthew. He made me feel comfortable with my purchase, the products available for the neighborhood I live in and for resale value. He came to my house multiple times and brought samples repeatedly. I did not have to make unnecessary trips to the store.

Very well. I have used them before and do know what they are doing and do a good job. They are a little expensive but you get what you pay for. My only complaint about this company is that their quoting on jobs process is very weak. Their quites are hand written and difficult to read.

I went to Venetian Blinds and Carpets because they were having a sale on Karistan carpets. The sales personnel were very helpful and knowledgeable. Their workmen did a beautiful job laying the carpets and installing the window treatments. They were friendly, professional, and exacting. Nothing is inexpensive at this store, although the carpets were 20% off, but the quality is outstanding. I would definately use them again.

Doug Davis came to the house, measured the windows, and showed samples of available materials. He also provided the form for a Hunter-Douglas rebate (which arrived in the mail about a month later). Informative and professional, start to finish.

They gave me an estimate while I was getting a house inspected before purchasing. They were very professional. However, I asked them for a quote on both the wood flooring and some carpet on stairs and they left that off the quote. I also called them back to get the quote instead of getting it promptly. I went with another flooring company instead partly because of a better price.

Overall this company was extremely professional. They did a great job on helping select blinds for our windows and doors. The work was performed in a timely manner. They removed all left over waste and some additional boxes for me ;-). I was very happy with the services offered by Venetian Blind & Floor. I plan to buy carpets in the future and will call them for sure.

Overall it went well. Both teams arrived on time each day. There were only minor problems noticed after the countertop installers left. However the company responded promptly to both requests & corrections.

The work looked amazing when it was installed, almost 2 years ago, and has held up wonderfully. You can't see any vinyl seams; many visitors, on first examination, think it is a real wood floor. It is easy to care for and good for individuals with mobility problems, since it's very smooth and regular underfoot. VB&FC's price was high, but thus far it seems that it was money well paid. Workers arrived on time and worked here exclusively, except for lunch breaks. They cleaned up their work and were respectful of our other furnishings.

Did an absolutely meticulous and beautiful job of laying the tile in both the den and entrance way. Did an excellent job installing the carpet. Showed up on time every day and cleaned up. Sales person showed up each day for inspecton and all were a pleasure to work with. See pictures. This same company will install the same tile on the new remodeled kitchen when it is done in January '07.

It was a wonderful option for a non-do-it-yourselfer. The sub-contractors they hired were very competent. The job was done quickly and well. There were no hidden fees.

We had a sales rep come out and measure our floor for laminate flooring. The quote for the installation of the laminate came to about $1000 per sq foot!!! (We had to have some special sub-flooring) We then decided we would have to go with a sheet vinyl, but we could never get them to even give us a quote, although they had already spent considerable time measuring our floor. We called several times over several days, and no one would even call us back and give us a price for the vinyl. I guess if you don't want to spend $1000/sq ft. they don't want to mess with you. It's been several weeks now, and we still have not heard from them, although we are certainly no longer waiting.

Price was reasonable, the salesman, Ted Bardo, knew his stuff and was most helpful. They showed up on time and did an excellent installation job. Clean and neat. We were very impressed with this companies showroom of not only blinds but glazed tile flooring which we will probably use on our house later in the year.

The old kitchen floor was linoleum, and it was very tacky looking. The new ceramic tile floor has a beautiful design and makes the kitchen a great deal brighter; we don't need all the lights on anymore. The counter tops also have brighter look and can tolerate more abuse than our old ones. Everyone worked with us in deciding what to put in, and they were extremely helpful.

OVERALL; NEGATIVE. QUOTE PROCESS WAS QUESTIONABLE. REPRESENTATIVE DID NOT EXPLAIN SOME LOWER COST OPTIONS. SOLD ME THE MOST EXPENSIVE COMPONENTS. I REALIZED THIS AFTER I HAD SIGNED THE ORDER, BUT THEY WOULD NOT CHANGE IT. MIRACULOUSLY, AT THE LAST MINUTE BEFORE INSTALLATION, THEY SAID THAT THEY MESSED UP THE ORDER, AND THAT THEY WOULD BE ABLE TO INSTALL THE LOWER COST COMPONENTS AFTER ALL. BILLING PROCESS WAS EQUALLY FRUSTRATING, AS AFTER INSTALLATION THEY SENT ME A BILL THAT STILL REFLECTED THE HIGHER COST COMPONENTS. I CALLED TO HAVE THEM CHANGE IT, AND SEND ME A DETAILED LISTING OF CHARGES. THEY DID SO, BUT IT WAS HANDWRITTEN ON A PIECE OF NOTEBOOK PAPER, NOT PRINTED ON THEIR COMPANY LETTERHEAD. IT TOOK SEVERAL WEEKS TO SORT OUT THE MESS. THE FLOOR ITSELF LOOKS GREAT. THE INSTALLERS WERE COURTEOUS, AND PROFESSIONAL. I'M VERY HAPPY WITH THE PRODUCT, BUT THE FRONT, AND BACK OFFICE PERSONNEL HAVE A LOT TO LEARN ABOUT CUSTOMER SERVICE, AND HONEST BUSINESS PRACTICES.

SALES REP TONY FONTENOT WAS EXTREMELY HELPFUL IN THE SHOWROOM, SHOWING ME SAMPLES THAT FIT MY NEEDS AND TASTE, AS WELL AS MY BUDGET. AFTER GETTING THE RUNAROUND TWO CONTRACTORS WHO BID ON THE PROJECT, IT WAS A RELIEF TO HAVE TONY COME OUT AND MEASURE THE STAIRCASE PROPERLY AND PROPERLY ASSESS OUR NEEDS. EVERYONE INVOLVED WAS PROMPT, COURTEOUS AND CONSCIENTIOUS. WE'VE BEEN HAPPY WITH THE CARPET SO FAR. THE SAME WAS TRUE FOR THE CREW THAT WORKED ON OUR KITCHEN FLOOR. VENETIAN WAS RECOMMENDED TO ME BY AN ARCHITECT AND A BUILDER, AND I'D HIGHLY RECOMMEND THEM.

INSTALLER WAS VERY POLITE, AND EXPLAINED CARE OF THE SURFACE. HE DID AN EDGE FINISH EXACTLY TO MY SPECIFICATIONS. THE EDGE WAS TO EMULATE ANTIQUE METAL COUNTERTOP EDGES, A DRIP EDGE. HE LEFT A CARE KIT AND TWO GRATIS CUTTING BOARDS FROM THE SINK CUTOUT SCRAPS.
