He did the work and took away the debris

Just got an estimate for a tree to be removed, I did not use because they want $900 more than the rest of the tree services.

Everything went well but after getting a few quotes (after I already had service done) they ended up being higher. Was First Quoted $1400 but was able to get the price down to $1000. Received a quote as low as $800 from another company.

This company has years of experience, insurance, and bonding, which, to me, are necessary because of the dangerous nature of the work and because the tree branches overhung a couple of adjoining yards. Since my yard is tiny and fenced, it required really careful work by the professional who was climbing and cutting. They were prompt; the cleanup was great. Totally satisfied.

I had a large tree in my front yard that I needed trimmed .. called Tommy for a quote .. he was close by my neighborhood so went over and gave me a price .. called him to make an appointment and he called the next day to say he could come out that day or the next week, whatever was best for me .. he came out and met me that day and explained everything that needed to be done .. they did a great job!

Chris arrived on time with a full crew of 8 workers. The tree pruning and cutting of the dead tree took all day. They cut and hauled branches to the chipper for disposal. The dead tree was cut into sections and hauled off. We had just had the back and front yards cleaned but they did little to disturb the flower beds and landscaping. Afterwards, they cleaned up and had the gutters cleaned as well. The trees look beautiful and the space is more open. I would surely use them again and refer them to my friends.

Can't say enough good things about Tommy's Tree Service. We've used them twice - once about 2013 when they removed two trees and pruned two others. My neighbor observed their work and had them remove one or two of their trees. This time it was just a cleanup of one tree that had some dead limbs. His crew arrived early and did a thorough job, taking the time to remove all of the required limbs. They then spent a good while raking and cleaning up the fallen branches and twigs. The price was also very reasonable. I've used tons of contractors in Houston since the early 1980's and this is one of my favorites!

I don't remember the exact cost but I know it was a good price. There were 6 or 7 workers to do the job.

I needed someone to check a pine tree that my landscape guy said he thought had termites. Tommy is really busy so it took a few days but he came out and looked at the tree and told me it did not have termites and didn't need to be taken down. He could have told me it needed to be removed and could have charged me more money, but he didn't. He is very knowledgeable about trees. I had him prune a large pine tree and a large red oak and remove a trash elm tree that had sprung up near my fence. He didn't like how my landscape guy "pruned" two large ligustrum trees and took it upon himself to paint the wounds with whatever it is he uses when he prunes. He didn't even charge me. He really seems to love trees and care about their health. He did a great job with my trees and clean up. I will use him again in the future and have already recommended him to several friends.

They showed up on time, worked very professionally and completed everything in a timely manner. My husband and I was very impressed and pleased with the final result.

I have to say everything about the interaction was great. Tommy was responsive for the initial quote and actually recommended we wait a month or so before scheduling the services which is refreshing as the last company we had come out trimmed our fruit trees at the wrong time of the year. As for the trimming and services, we were very pleased. Tommy was actually on site and directed his crew to make sure the details were taken care of. He also took care of small trees and shrubs at no additional costs and left a pile of fresh mulch to use in the yard. His crew even relocated a squirel's nest with a baby in it that they found while trimming one of the trees. I could go on and and on about how great everything went. I do feel the price to trim and prune was a little more expensive than we paid previously but the way it was trimmed and the care that was taken doesn't compare to cheaper services. It was worth the extra money.

They were very responsive to initial phone calls, to getting things set up during the holidays which was pretty amazing. I didn't get responses from the people I called at all. And then they me put and get the work done quickly. They had everything cleaned up and assisted the neighbor next door, getting stuff off from the trees, not the stuff they had put in there, but stuff that had fallen from the trees. I was very pleased with them. They're an A on every category. They're beyond A in responsiveness. The only thing I wish is that they had an actual arborist as part of their company but they don't. Other than that, Chris was really excellent to work with and his father Tommy was very responsive in dealing with him on the phone.

They did a good job. They did the job that they said that they were going to do. Its hard to determine the price. It was hard to find someone. I really had no one else to compare the price with. They did well on responsiveness. They came when they said that they would. The person, Tommy, is the front man, and he was fine. I did contact him last month, to see about him doing additional work, and its going to cost so much, so I am waiting. I didn't know anyone in the area to get, and its going to cost another $1600. When he was hear last time, he noticed a lot of down timber, on my road. For $1600, his crew could clear twenty feet on the side of the road. I have been trying to save up on this, and this didn't include the brush, so this would be another $1600 dollars.

Called Tommy's and left message for them to come by and give estimate to remove tree. Tommy called back in a timely manor and told me his son Chris would call to set up time to come by. Chris called and set up a time the next day. Chris arrived at the determined time and gave me an estimate. We agreed they would remove the tree the next week. The crew arrived within the window that was agreed upon and removed the tree without incidence. The price may bee a little on the high side, but you get what you pay for.

They do a good job. Pricing is fair

Excellent. Tommy was able to remove everything without damaging surrounding landscaping and sprinkler system. They cleaned up and hauled off everything within a few hours. We have used other tree services before but Tommy and his crew know what excellent Customer Service all about.

Chris came out and provided a vey fare quote. Chris and his team were very professional, they provided proof of insurance promptly, they worked safely, and cleaned up. I am very satisfied with their work.

In July 2015, I contacted Tommy for an tree trimming / clearing estimate on my mother's home which had begun to look like a jungle. This house is in Houston near the Hwy 290 / 620 area. He came out the next day and gave me an estimate ($2,500) which I thought was very fair. He and his crew worked for two days - removed trash trees, weeds, and trimmed the bushes in the front yard. They completely cleaned up the debris. The difference in the yard was amazing - so amazing that I contacted Tommy again for some work on my daughter's home in Shoreacres. The house in Shoreacres had a very tall, dead tree which would have taken out the neighborhood electric lines if it fell. There were several other large trees which were in dire need of being trimmed. Tommy again came out quickly, gave me a fair estimate ($4.000), and the work was completed in a timely manner. We had had several people stop and tell us they could do it for less money, but it was obvious they didn't know what they were doing. These trees were a danger to all, especially the men doing the work. We were impressed with how the work was done - always in a safe manner - to ensure danger / damage to the men and property were minimized. Again, the yard was left clear of any debris and the electric lines are now safe! With the storm we've had this weekend, I'll be calling Tommy to come look at trees that were damaged in our home.
