I thought the estimate was fair but too high for my budget and Tommy worked with me until I was safely within my budget range. The next day if he came to perform the work; his team showed up on time (actually an hour early), they performed all services with care and did an excellent job clean-up. Tommy is very knowledgeable of trees and he was able to point out & name each tree on my property and provide general growth history and other vital facts. Solid company.
Description of Work: Tommy's Tree Service trimmed a Birch Wood tree, trimmed & topped off two (2) Magnolia Trees, removed dead tree trunk and roots, removed a very large limb from a Birch Wood tree which had grown against my wrought iron fence and performed clean-up.

+ -1 moreThe fence gate had to be removed to get the grinder in the yard. It was replaced and actually works better than it did, as they adjusted it. Overall I am VERY pleased with the work. It has been my experience that one doesn't always get what one pays for. In this case I did, that's why I'd like to see this company on your wonderful list.
Description of Work: My house is a 1920's with a small, fenced back yard, which is where the tree was. He remove everything in the work area, removed a large tree (at least fifty feet high) the tree was over twenty years old, removed all wood, ground out the stump and cleaned the area of wood and shavings. Replace every thing that had been moved out of the work area. Nothing was damaged, imagine that. I had less expensive bids but I'd seen his work and knew it to be good. + -1 moreTommy s tree service has real tree removal specialists. There was a 100 year old oak tree dying in my yard & I called them. I was very impressed with their work. There were about five men who came & a couple went up the tree with their chain saws, tied the limbs off, cut the limbs, & then swung them to the ground workers. I watched the men cut the tree down. They had all the proper equipment & were very good with the trees limbs, making sure not to damage anything around the area. When they had the tree cut to size, they had a mulcher that immediately turned the tree to mulch. They were very efficient & professional.
Description of Work: Tommy's removed a 100 year old oak tree from my yard.
