Texas Tree Team

It went really well. This was the first time I had used them, and I would use them again in the future as well as recommend them to others. The price was reasonable and I was satisfied with the quality of the work.

Glenn initially came out and gave us suggestions on how to trim our trees and an estimate. He was professional and friendly and we appreciated his suggestions. He stated it would be several weeks before the crew could come out which was fine with us. Later in the week, we got a call from his office to schedule an appointment. It rained on the day of our appointment and Glenn and his office was quick to respond and reset an appointment for the next day which was Saturday. The crew came out as scheduled and cut and trimmed our trees as Glenn had discussed with us. They did an excellent job and we are well pleased with the way our trees now look.

I originally purchased this Big Deal in early November, when I was out of town. When I was contacted re the purchase, I explained I'd be returning later in the month and would call them to set up an appointment. When I returned, I contacted them and their arborist, Glen, came out to discuss the work on 12/20. We had 2 old ash trees that were in bad shape. One looked like it was dying and both trees had some splitting limbs hanging over our house. I wanted to get recommendations on what could be done or if either tree was worth trying to salvage. I explained to Glen that I had purchased 2 Big Deals from 2 different tree companies and wanted to use one deal for one tree and one for the other and requested that he work up the bid with that in mind. He said that things weren't really busy around the holidays so I should receive the estimate within a few days. Initially I wasn't concerned when the estimate didn't come right away as I assumed he might have taken some time off around Christmas. In the meantime, the other tree company arborist came out, worked up a detailed proposal and e-mailed it to me within 2 days. I accepted the proposal from the second company and a crew was coming out on 1/15 to work on one designated tree. I was getting a bit concerned that I hadn't received the proposal from Texas Tree Team so I called Glen at the number he'd given me and left a message that I was still waiting for their proposal. After a couple of days (on 1/11) when I still hadn't received a response, I e-mailed the company and asked when I could expect the bid for the work. After I contacted them, Glen called me, but it appeared he didn't have his notes in front of him and had my bid confused with someone else's. On the 14th or 15th, I received an e-mail from him with the bid. Because of the confusion and the fact that a crew was here on the 15th, I decided to have the other company do the work on both trees. Glen seemed very knowledgeable and I suspect that with the holidays, things just got a bit confused. Since I don't plan to use them in the near future, I am requesting a refund for their Big Deal. If I decide to use them at a future time, I'll be quicker to call if there's any delay.

They were very quick to resond and did a great job. The gentleman that came was very helpful and knowledgable. The receptionist in the office I spoke with was also very helpful and friendly. They came and trimmed trees for me in the front and back yard.

They did need to come back. I wanted them to come back and remove the stump and they never did and we kept going back and forth. Besides that, everything else was an A.

I know it takes a lot of time for trees. We have trees all over our house and this neighborhood is just mounds of wonderful big old oaks; the southern oaks, white oaks and whatever other oaks they have, the evergreen type. They have very big limbs as they grow very tall. Rather than cutting off of the entire limb, since it was $99, he cut half of it off which solved the problem but I thought if you're getting right up there why not just take the whole thing. But having used other companies for tree service that was a bargain. I didn't like that nitpicking because he didn't do much really. He did a fine job on half of the limbs. It was cut evenly. He was fishing for, "If I do this all the way then it would be more" is the impression that I received. He was not late, otherwise I would have remembered that part.

They completely cleaned up after themselves and were very polite and ready to answer any questions I had before starting. I definitely would recommend them and hire myself should the need arise.

Met with the estimator and he was very nice and professional. We had a little issue scheduling with the freezing cold weather that blew in, the holidays, ect. There was a lot of back and forth messages left to coordinate scheduling. Finally had the appointment scheduled and the workers showed up on time, and were very nice, did a great job, and cleaned up very well.

Went good and I would use them again. My only complaint is the tree was planted 2-3 feet closer to ditch than I wanted. I had staked out the location and left. An employee called and said it could not be planted there so I said to move it sideways but not closer to the ditch. Well he moved it closer to ditch. Should have stayed home when it was planted to avoid any confusion.

They did a great job of cleaning up and leaving the yard in great shape. They were prompt and professional.

Excellent! Glen was very professional and practical in his review and estimate. He didn't try to sell me something I didn't want or need, opting to prefer the relationship over short term profit. That tells me he's a proper businessman. The communication from the office was likewise professional and timely, with a detailed estimate and certificate of insurance provided before the work was scheduled. The crew performed the work quickly and thoroughly, responding well to my wife, who was at home when the work was done. When I noticed that evening that there was minor damage to one of my gutters, Glen promptly offered to make it right, repairing it himself, allowing me to hire a gutter company and adjusting the bill or discounting the bill. I opted to let him try to fix it, which he did effectively. This is how you want every contractor job to go - professional service with business integrity.

Texas Tree team trimmed 2 large trees and 1 crepe myrtle. First appointment was rescheduled for the next day due to equipment repair.

The work was fine. Maybe, I would use them again if I got a another big deal and probably not if I haven't.

They did really well and I was pleased with their work. I had them removed some branches from some trees as well as remove a tree completely. It took them only 2 hours and there were several employees, about 5-6, workers were here. Scheduling was fine and we talked on the phone, we communicated through email. They were personable, customer focused and I would recommend them. They also have competitive prices too.

They did a great job very quick and no mess left behind

They probably were equally professional in their presentation when they came out. They sent me a typed estimate by e-mail the next day and then followed up with an e-mail query 3 weeks to a month later about whether we were going to get the work done and when. It seemed that it was a job that they were able to perform good.

My issue was the appointed time of arrival of the tree trimming team was not met. I had to call to see if there was a delay. I should have been contacted to inform me that they were delayed on another job. Overall I was satisfied with their services.

It turned out good. I did have to keep an eye on them because sometimes there were issues with their work. I did have to call their manager; the work itself was good. They were on time and the schedule was not a problem. I had them do some extra stuff so I had to pay more. The trimming was fine; it was the crew that I had issues with. I would use them again if they sent out a different crew.

We have a huge live oak in our front yard. They trimmed and shaped the tree, and did a great job. They also did a deep root feeding for the tree. As a matter of fact, we were so pleased with the service we scheduled them to come out to feed the tree and winterize the yard on November 12, 2013. Would highly recommend Texas Tree Team and we will continue to use them.

Did the work they were asked to do. Good overall commuication and execution of job.

It was an Angie's List Big Deal that I purchased. It worked out great. They were wonderful. They arrived on time and kept everything cleaned up very well at the end. They were very professional. They basically did exactly what I asked for because I didn't want to sacrifice the whole tree. They filled up 2 trucks with the wood and actually had to come back a second time because there was so much I paid additional to have the work done. I was happy with the price and what they gave me. They spelled it out ahead of time and gave me my options so I felt very comfortable with it. I would absolutely use them again.

Texas Tree Team arrived on schedule and completed the work promptly. The staff was polite and worked quickly. They did a fantastic job cleaning up and removing debris from the area once the work was completed.

I spoke with them and they said it just wouldn't work out. They were very nice.

Called & made an appointment with Lisa, for Glenn to walk our property and provide an assessment of our trees and an estimate for the cost of any needed/recommended work. We were told, and as far as I know, Glenn came to the house the following week and walked our property. I say "as far as I know" because we have heard zero response from TTT since. I first followed up a week after our appointment, requesting a status report; Glenn was not available but would get back to me. I called a few days later (nearly 2 weeks after initial contact) and was told Glenn was out of town on vacation, had not completed his write-up, and only he could provide the assessment/estimate, and would do so on his return. Over a week after that, having heard nothing from TTT, I followed up again, and was told Glenn would get his estimate to us "the next day." That was almost a week ago. Without any initiative on their part I don't plan to call them back a 4th time and beg them to let me give them my business.
