Texas Quality Plumbing

We had leak that left a couple of water spots in our home and I called this company because of the good reviews. But we were indeed scammed, the technician quoted us $21k for a “bellying of our pipes”. We had mentioned to the tech that everytime we noticed the wet spots it was when we ran our dishwasher but he never checked our dishwasher or anything. We asked him to do the camera to check our pipes and he concluded the ‘pipe bellying’ due to ‘erosion’ (The pipe camera service is $450 btw, another ridiculous amount.) Well first of all, our home is a NEW build, its less than 5 yrs old so it ddnt make sense to me, plus who has 21k? We went ahead and hired a different plumbing company and within the first 15mins they concluded that it was our dishwasher that was causing the leak! I saw it with my own eyes. They said that i just needed to replace our dishwasher. They said that there’s nothing wrong with our pipes. Which totally makes sense because we noticed the leak everytime we used our dishwasher. Plus they fixed our garbage disposal for FREE compared to Texas quality plumbing quoted us $750 for a new one. How ridiculous. I called Texas quality plumbing because it was upsetting to get quoted 21k and i also asked for the video recording and pictures and a detailed report of the pipe camera service they provided and they cannot provide me with the report. They said ‘we can come out again and the tech will do it again and explain to you where he found the bellying’. They said that they dont even have the initial recording! Another thing to add, since we stopped using our dishwasher we haven’t had ANY LEAKS! PLEASE PLEASE BE CAUTIOUS WHEN USING THIS COMPANY AND MAKE SURE TO GET A SECOND OPINION! THIS COMPANY CHARGED US A RIDICULOUS AMOUNT OF MONEY AND THEY MISDIAGNOSED WHAT WAS WRONG! BOOK A DIFFERENT COMPANY! Attached are photos of their ridiculous prices. Also there’s nothing wrong with our toilets but they also added that we needed to replace them as well. 🤦🏽‍♀️

They were professional and on time. Did their work and respected our home.

The guy that came out was professional and thorough. He was able to get my water heater working better after a descale.

Excellent workmanship so far. On time, great communication, great cleanup after job completed. The attachment still has to dry for 48 hours, but so far I am satified.

The plumber did a excellent job installing the tankless gas water heater.

Great job Fast friendly service Cleaned out sink drain along with the bathtub. They came out and snaked all lines to correct the problem. Associates were friendly and professional. Will use them whenever I need plumbing work.

We started out a little rocky with purchase and installation of the incorrect style of toilet. However my plumber, Erik immediately took full ownership of the error, corrected it and had my correct toilet installed within a few hours. Workmanship was great, my plumber was very professional, courteous, on time and did a wonderful clean up job after all the work was completed.

Cedric was beyond professional. We had a clogged kitchen sink. He worked diligently and got the work done.

Finished in a couple of hours--I was so pleased! The kitchen sink was clogged and Austin had to use two different techniques to finish the job!

They did not pull permits prior to doing the work like my city requires. So now that the work is done their permit person is behind. If the permits were already pulled like they were suppose to be then the inspector could have come out 2 days ago when the work was complete and I could have had gas. The lady on the phone was rude and told me "your not the only one we are going down the list" now it will be 35 degrees tonight and I have no heat for my house and no hot water. I have been without these things for a week already because of these people. To make it worse tomorrow is new years and the permit office is closed and the inspector will not be working. So I will be without gas for even longer.

It went very well. Changed out original 18 year faucet which was not simple.

BAD!!! DID NOT SHOW UP ON SCHEDULE, SHOWED UP 6 HRS LATE, NO CALL, DISPATCHER DID NOT WANT TO TALK TO ME, OR THE OFFICE MANAGER, MR FERNANDEZ, NO EXPLANATION, NOTHING, WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY FOR ANY PLUMBING NEEDS, MAYBE TO HOOK UP THE GARDEN HOSE.

After paying over $6000.00 to have my home foundation leveled, Texas Quality Plumbing damage the cylinder under my home. Now on the side they worked on is has a lot of stress which is causing creaking noise. Immediately, after it happened, They did not pull the necessary permits to work on the sewer/drainage line which is a violation. I spoke to the owner that stated he would take care of it. I had to file a BBB complaint to get them to do anything. To no surprise the owner conveniently forgot and stating they did not damage my home. We've gone back and forth at the BBB without any resolution. I spoke to Ram Jack about coming out to see underneath the home since did not close the opening up. After I told them the City was coming out to inspect the work and Ram Jack would be by to look at the damages, they hurried and put all the dirt back. Texas Quality Plumbing impersonated me with Ram Jack Office to get information on an estimate. The estimate Ram Jack gave me was in April 2017 or front part of my house. Apparently, they did not care it is illegal to impersonate anyone for information that's not in their name. I have file Identity Theft with Federal Trade Commission and the Attorney General Office. In addition, I've asked BBB to close the complaint as unresolved. I retain an attorney for legal actions against Texas Quality Plumbing. I will not pay another $6000.00 to repair what had already been repaired.

Mario did a great job. Explained it all showed me the final line. Excavation crew was great!! The only thing is they didn’t arrive when they said. They didn’t call me and let me know. I had to call them. So I spoke to manager and she corrected the situation, not being late, but calling me and letting me know.

Mario was very professional and clear about work. He tested all above ground piping. No above ground leaks so underground and will need to run new pipe. He will provide an estimate. I paid the visit fee.

Great - team had to take a machine into our attic (no easy feat 4 stories up) and cleaned everything out. Quick fix but nothing I could have done myself. Drains flow perfectly now.

This is the second time in 3 years that Texas Quality Plumbing had fixed this clog for us. They are effective in that the clog was removed both times. My problem is with the price. The same service 3 years ago with the same company was $190. This time they charged us $385...I feel like we got ripped off. I called the office to ask for money back and instead of listening to my concerns, they said that I was under charged the first time. I'll be taking my plumbing business elsewhere next time.
