He charged me $100 to come out and give an appraisal for a koi pond I was wanting to have done. We agreed on the work to be done, and he told me what all I needed to go out and buy for him to perform the work. He was supposed to come out last Saturday to start the work. About 30 minutes before he was scheduled to come out, he text me and said he couldn't make it. We rescheduled for Wednesday and about 30 minutes before that appointment he texted me and canceled again. I tried calling and texting him repeatedly with no response. He finally texted back and said he couldn't make it back out until the upcoming Monday. I told him that I was highly disappointed by his repeated cancelations, at which point he told me he was no longer willing to come do the work because there was no mutual trust. He told me that I should just go ahead and fill the pond in with dirt and plant grass over it.
