"[member name removed], Im Sorry to hear your frustration about the cleaning. Upon looking at your work order, i noticed the deal you purchased was for 4 rooms and a hallway rather than 5 rooms you stated. Stairs are not included which states in the fine print and the regular pricing for that is $45 for up to 15 steps. I am happy to hear the technician helped you out since you only had 2 rooms carpet needing cleaning and gave you the stairs for free. Unfortunately, the voucher you purchased states that any pre treatments are also not included. A coffee stain is a tough one to get out with just the basic steam clean and would need a pre treatment in order to remove it. As for the residue, im not sure why there was residue left as this was a steam clean only and no products or chemicals were used in the process. We hope to have you a customer in the future and would like to provide you with a 20% discount on your next service. I can assure you though, that is a standard price for the mold treatment product, It can range from home to home and depending on the number of units can sometimes be more costly. And yes, if the problem persists, we will gladly send another tech to the home to re evaluate the situation and treat again at no cost of necessary. He made a few calls and attempted to fix the shampooer twice and said he was successful after the second time. The house smelled great when he left, but we soon realized it was because of the deodorizer he used, not clean carpet. It was not dirty carpet, as we have it cleaned about twice a year, but they did not remove any stains. We don't think the machine was fixed.
Also, we have always had two men clean carpet. They move the furniture, then put pads underneath and move it back. This man only shampooed around the furniture in the bedrooms, and moved the family room furniture only because my husband asked him too. He left all of that furniture in the main hallway of our home when he left.
This is the first time we used someone from Angie's list and we were extremely disappointed. Not your fault, of course, but had higher hopes since they were referred as a special deal.
"[member name removed], We are very sorry for your experience. Just to start off id like to say that technician who came to your home has been let go from the company. He was fairly new and not familiar to much. Secondly, please forgive the miscommunication between you and the technician, we are "familiar" with cleaning carpets and do this on a regular basis, we have been in business for 5 years in Houston and just opened our Austin office, so I assume that is what he meant. As far as furniture goes, unfortunately, we do not move furniture which is stated in the fine print before you purchase the voucher, this is due to liability. It also states that any chemical treatments such as stain remover and pre spot treatments are an additional cost which is why the stains did not come out of the carpets if you had not added the pre spot treatment with the technician. As for the minor issue with the carpet wand, the technician called our office while on site to explain the issue and we came to the conclusion it was a pressure issue that was fixed onsite. Since then, we have had all machines serviced to ensure we do not encounter this again. Again, we are horribly sorry for this experience for you and would be glad to send another technician out to redo the job for you if you wish. Please call the office and let us know."

I notice that you had area rugs cleaned instead of carpeted rooms. I see that this was done as a courtesy from the technician being as we do not regularly include area rugs in the deal you purchased. It is usually a separate price. I do understand why he recomended the pre-spot treatment. The majority of the time, if there are pets involved, it is extremely hard to remove any stains and smells from the carpet without pre-treat, especially area rugs as there is no padding for the stains to soak into and be sucked out of, just a flat surface.Again we are very sorry to hear your frustration and would not mind one bit sending another technician to the home to re-do the questionable area rug."

Upon speaking with the technician and the representative you spoke with on the phone yesterday, we were informed that the you were given a FREE pre-spot treatment for the urine stains on the carpet as well as a full refund for the voucher you purchased. The technician explained that the "stain" that was there upon completion of the cleaning, was simply a piece of lint from the carpet that fell off his shoe and was picked up. He stated that you confirmed it was not a stain. He did inform us that he explained the charges to you for the carpet cleaning on the stairs and you did not confirm with him that you wanted this service, only that you asked how much it would be additional. He stated that you asked him why they were not cleaned and he said he did not know you wanted them cleaned and that he would gladly do them before he left but you asked him to leave that you did not want him there any longer. He explained that the hose had an unknown leak which caused the excess water in the walkway but he cleaned that up immediately. Again, i understand your frustration with the experience, especially since there were 4 other workers in the home doing other work as well which made it much more complicated. As explained on the phone to you, we would be more than happy to send a different technician there to re-do the carpets for you and we have granted you a full refund for your frustration."

"[Member name removed], With all do respect, the home you reside in is in our service area, but you requested to have the services on another home which is about an hour away from us. We do not usually travel that far without a trip fee. The fine print on the BIGDEAL states the radius that we work in. On your voucher, the "PRE- INSPECTION" is simply a walk through or discussion with you identifying any hard stains or marks on the carpet that need to be addressed so we can properly clean them. Also on the deal, it does state that we do not move any breakable items or large furniture, this is due to liability and we would not want to break anything. Im very sorry for the confusion and we are happy that you were satisfied with the cleaning."
