 + -1 moreClean-up was amazing. Could not believe work had been done other than how impressive one side of my extremely large closet looked. He guaranteed the cost of additional pull-out drawers for the shelved tower (about six feet) if I decided to do so at a later date His work looked just as good as closets built by Million-Dollar contractor on television show. Just not that pricey! Also, I chose white shelving to match existing shelves in closet. The rods are enclosed within framed wood and rods are made of some type of really rigid silver metal. It is really pretty and would look good outside of a closet. I do highly recommend entrusting your closet to this company. Sorry it took me so long to give my review.
Description of Work: removed old closet rods (painted area where rods were removed to match existing area)and replaced with double hanging for short objects (shirts, folded slacks); next to that double shelving and a lower rack for additional hanging. also built tower with four shelved openings- one of these had a pull-out drawer. purchased this deal from groupon for $300.00 which was supposed to have a value of $800.00. great work and glad I was able to take advantage of groupon discount. Bill will come out in advance and go over options for installation with you. date of service provided as close as I can remember, but it was before Thanksgiving 2012.

 + -1 moreThe drawer stack is great and fits perfectly where I needed it to go in the Master Closet. Installation only took a few hours. Everything was cleaned up afterward. Wish I had done it years ago! Michael Dumas was my salesperson. He was very knowledgeable and helpful. He answered all my questions.

 + -1 moreThis job went extremely well and exceeded out expectations. We are very pleased with the product, installation services, pricing and promptness. We used an Angies List coupon to reduce the price by about $250. We shopped the internet for closet systems for our 11x12 master closet, which we converted from an adjacent bedroom as part of our master bath renovation. Some of the internet suppliers have on-line tools to help in the design, including Lowes and Home Depot. However, those tools are a bit limiting and don't give you a full perspective of the design and space usage. The modules from the on-line suppliers may not fit exactly and it's best to have the vendor review and assist in your design. Spaceman came to the house, took measurements and custom designed our closet to make maximum use of all available space. Their design was about the same cost of the internet suppliers, but made much better utilization of the space. And, the installation cost was included whereas I would have had to install the product from the internet suppliers myself or hire someone to do it at an extra cost. The Spaceman installer arrived at our home on-time and completed the installation in about 6 hours. He was very professional, was very familiar with the product, worked very efficiently and was careful not to make a mess. We chose the white finish. The product quality is excellent, including the finish and drawer pulls. Shelves and rods are fully adjustable. We are extremely satisfied with every aspect of this purchase and highly recommend Spaceman.

 + -1 moreIt went perfectly from beginning to end. Our designer (Reva) came out right on time, listened to our needs and offered good suggestions along with her design. We approved the design and made a 50% down payment. Next, we agreed on the tear out and installation date. The tear out was one day, and the installation was the next day. The painter arrived right on time and did the tear out, and painted; the next day, the installer came out and installed the new closet hardware. The only minor complaint I have is we were told to purchase too much paint. We were told to buy 3 gallons, and the painter did not even need 1 full gallon for the work.

 + -1 moreWe were very please with our experience with SpaceMan. The designer came to us, and we were able to explain what we were looking for in a closet. He sat down at our dining room table afterward and drew up a design and gave us a quote. When it was a bit higher than we were expecting, he went back to the drawing board and incorporated some Elfa drawers that we were already using in our closet. The reconfiguration saved us about $1500. The system was ready within a couple of weeks. SpaceMan scheduled a two-day renovation at our home. On the first day, a man came in and removed our old closet system, patched the walls, and painted the closet with paint we provided. On the second day, a man cam in and installed the new system. We are very please with the work, and we love our new closet! Although this service is a bit pricey, it is the Cadillac of closet systems and SpaceMan held our hand during the entire process. A+

 + -1 moreVery smooth process. Called the office to schedule a free in home design appointment, went over the design with the designer through email. When the design was done, scheduled installation date with the offic manager and then my closets was done in two days. Everyone from the company, including the office manager, designer and the installer was responsive and on time. Happy with my closets, very organized now.
Description of Work: I had Spaceman installed custom closets for all closets of my house: two in the master, and three in the secondary bedrooms, all walk-in.

 + 1 moreI'm re-working a home office that was put in by the previous owner. When the office was installed, the electrical outlets on the wall behind the built-ins weren't relocated. Instead they plugged in several multiplug strips before installing the cabinets, and didn't provide anyway to access the outlets after the office was completed. I wanted to correct that by modifying the cabinets or moving the outlets and to also re-work the desktop to provide power sources there. I went out to their showroom and spoke with Spaceman's owner. He explained they do not retro-fit another company's work. (They are happy to work with previous customers who want to modify systems they installed.) He did listen to my "project" and made helpful suggestions about ways for me to proceed, which I really appreciated. I give them high marks for professionalism and service (even to a non-customer!). I'll definitely consider them when we start re-organizing our garage.
Description of Work: Spaceman wasn't able to work with me, but did talk with me about my project and suggested different approaches I could take.

 + -1 moreThe re-design was a surprise for my husband and David's team worked closely with me to make sure that it was finished on time before my husband got home from his travels. The tearout and repaint took a day and then the install took a half a day. I also needed to make a change to the design a few days before the install and David worked with me over the phone to make the change and get the order to the factory in time. I really appreciate the great customer service. Needless to say, it's been a month since the install and my husband still comments on how wonderful it is. Thanks Spaceman!
Description of Work: I hired Spaceman to redesign my husband's closet -- which had rods that were too low (so his clothes would drag on the floor) and a variety of other issues. We needed help maximizing the space. Bill Wallace, one of their designers, came to my house and worked with me on the design. He was great to work with.

 + -1 moreThey were offering a promotion for that for $200+ you could get $500 worth of material. We called them specifically to inquire about this. The woman who answered the phone was very professional. However, when the salesman came out the quote he presented to us was very expensive, and didn't include the promotional rate. We didn't get back with them because we couldn't understand why that wasn't being honored. We would consider using them again with a different salesman.

 + -1 moreTHe company kept us informed of the manufacturing process and gave us a reminder telephone call prior to installation. THe installers were prompt and very professional.
Description of Work: An estimate was provided for the materials a labor for installing a complete closet organization system. The designer worked out a design and made modifications as he discovered our specific needs. The installation was scheduled, and the closet organization system was installed in about 5 hours. It is BEAUTIFUL! We don't know why we didn't do this many years ago.

 + -1 moreContacted them because of Angie's List, purchased two $195 coupons that was suppose to be worth $500 each. Not aware one coupon per family, did not see the tiny print so Angies List came to the rescue and refunded my $. Consultant came out, we agreed on the price and the date of installation. Was not aware I should have asked if they were using plywood, they use MDF. First time to have closet installation done. They do use a level which I asked if they would so I would not be looking at crooked shelving. They state they use good brackets that will not pull out of the wall. The installer was on time, professional and am happy thus far with the work done. Wish it was not so expensive, believe it will keep me off a ladder and that is important. Installer did answer my questions about future ideas I have for the closet, appreciated that. Installer left no mess and that was appreciated as well.
Description of Work: Being only 5 feet tall a closet that is 10 feet with 3 hanging bars, approximately 400 feet needs some type of utilization for a clothes horse. Shattered knee hates for me to climb ladders. Did ask for a consultation. Consultant was professional and prompt as well as the installer. Price quoted over $8,000 for entire closet. I did ask if I could only do the back wall, it was quoted to me the price and diagram of what was to be done. Did not know to ask if shelving was made of plywood it is not. You do pay a 75% deposit and the balance when the installer arrives. They are prompt to email you and call you to make sure you are not going to cancel the installation appointment. Partial installation which was one pull down bar that holds only 26 pounds and never remove the tag on that bar. The box included peg board where shelves can be adjusted, accomodates about 70 pairs of shoes. This is a pre-built box with adjustable shelving. Do ask installer to drill a hole in a shelf so you can run cord down the wall if you want to use an electrical appliance, lamp, makeup mirror in your closet otherwise the box might cover up your electrical outlet. Do have your paint as they are not painters but they will paint over the wall where they tore out the existing closet shelving. Do have your own drawer pulls as they don't provide those. They tell you that you must pull out all your clothes, you do not have to pull all of your clothes out of the closet if it was just the one section they are doing. Do have plastic or towels ready to put down on the flooring, but they do bring their own padding so as now to get anything on the floor.

The tech who installed it was very professional and courteous. He did a great job, cleaned up and I would highly recommend this company!

 + 0 moreIt was a great experience. Our designer (Bill) was a pleasure to work with - he even came out on a Saturday to meet with us. It took him about 30 min or so to measure closets, assess the situation and provide a recommended design. We agreed, paid in full, and then scheduled a time for the installation about 2 weeks out due to our busy schedules. The installation process took about a day. They did offer to paint before installing the finished product (but we didn't have time to match the paint to take advantage of this additional service). Closets were completed, all mess was hauled off and we were very pleased. Bill even sent us a thank you card for our business afterwards!
Description of Work: We purchased a groupon for $800 worth of closet renovations. We ended up having them re-do one linen closet and our two his-and hers master closets. The linen closet was converted to a shoe closet and works beautifully. The master closets were upgraded from builder grade minimalist to full on cherry paneled closets that maximize the limited footprint we have.
