Everything went as expected - excellent quality!

The design process was very easy and they send someone out to assist you with placement of the various components and layouts of the closet. The one warning is that these are not cheap. The fist time they came out, we had a plumbing issue with a finishing nail piercing through a pipe, which was not the fault of the installer but of the builder. This caused a three week delay in installation while the builder fixed everything. They graciously rescheduled the job and when they finally cam e out to finish, our closets were absolutely awesome. We fully plan on using their services again as soon as there is another coupon on Angie's List!

Average pricing was higher than expected (~$2500-3500 for a master closet), so decided not to use. They're upfront about it and did follow up though.

We had SpaceMan install a pantry in our kitchen. First, Bill Wallace came to our house for a design consultation. I explained our needs and he designed a pantry to meet our needs and to fit in with the rest of the kitchen, including the existing cabinets. Then, another employee came a few weeks later to install the system. He was very professional, asked for feedback, and cleaned up after the installation. The system cost $1635; however, we had purchased an $800 Big Deal voucher. Recently, one of the pantry doors fell off. However, SpaceMan promptly responded by inspecting the system and replacing the door without any hassle or additional charge.

SpaceMan did a "closet makeover" for my husband's closet, as he graciously took the smaller (and I do mean smaller!) of the 2 Master closets, with basically no space. I decided to surprise him with some organization with quality looks. First of all, I commend Bill Wallace on his skill, professionalism and excellent taste in transformations. He did an absolutely fantastic plan, was open and easy to work with regarding changes and was eager to please, as he was very patient with someone who had no idea what to do with that closet. I felt very confident with his guidance and plans. Everything progressed on time, no problems. Rudy the installer was also wonderful, very skilled and an obvious expert in his field, & ready and willing to explain everything he was installing and how to change rod height, clean the wood, etc. Angie's discount really came in handy, as I found it a bit pricey even with the discount, but I did select upgrades in color to honey apple and inset drawers. The saying "You get what you pay for" really does apply here, as I feel the upgrades were definitely worth it. All in all, SpaceMan is first rate in my book and I would definitely hire them again. Kudos to Bill and Rudy, who are true professionals and experts in every sense of the word!!

I had purchased the coupon for 379 and would get 800 towards work that i would get done. i had someone come to the house which was great she did a design for me and all but during the process of me asking questions and trying to get the design a bit more towards what i wanted i never received a reply back. so now i just have that coupon which expires soon. i just never followed up again so im going to be losing 379 i had already put towards this. UPDATED TO THE REVIEW!! David from space manager contacted me about this review and the issue. after confirming everything he gave me the opportunity to use my then expired coupon. we started the whole process of the design again, which he was very patient with me and i appreciated that. im newly married so it felt i was losing a lot of my space in my closet and i didnt like that so slowly but surely, after countless questions and revisions, we came to a final design that would work in my space. he worked with my time frame on getting it installed i had a few things going on during this time as well and he said that was fine. one thing i did before hand was found someone to come remove the old closet and patch and repaint it, which was a great idea. i finally got the closet installed on the 27 Mar 13 and it turned out great my wife was excited to see it. now one of the major things about this closet was getting the jewelry drawer that was my wife main concern. it sucked for me David had just moved to this new program and well when they installed the closet the installers did not install the jewelry drawer! so it ruined the first view of it all sense that is the first thing she went to look at but they worked with me right away to get that installed and it was in a timely manner. while the initial excitement was not complete the final outcome was she loves her new closet and it was well installed. it really turned out nice and we are able to organize everything better now. i gave over all a B only becuase of the initial lost of communication and then the jewelry drawer which was very important but they are good and i would use them again. i think price is high but a lot of things are these days it does come with a lifetime warranty so i factor that in. also them contacting me after the issue and accepting the mistake and working with you that goes a long way in my book. it is how you know you have people at this company that care about what they represent and that matters and is hard to find thanks guys!

Everyone associated with my job was punctual, organized, professional and a pleasure to work with. I would not hesitate to use them again and probably very soon will.

Every phase of my experience with Spaceman was first rate, beginning with the intial contact by phone, ease in getting an appointment for a consultation, the design of the closet (taking into account my budgetary constraints), followed by tearout, patching and painting (arranged by Spaceman as an additional service but not mandatory to use their contractor) and installation.. The workspace was cleaned after each phase. The closet itself looks fantastic and is much more functional (and neat). Everyone I dealt with was extremely professional and nice.

Excellent design which addressed my needs. Installation was done efficiently and the organization of shelves matched the design. Cleanup was done well too.

I am very satisfied with my finished closet. JC was the installer, and he installed everything in one day and cleaned up after himself perfectly. Even with the big deal price, it was more money than we probably should have spent, but I know it will add value to our home in case we ever sell it. If another big deal comes along for this company, I will buy it!

I’d use them again, and I am very seriously considering it for another room. I spoke to three vendors and I felt that Spaceman best understood what I wanted, and gave me the most reasonable price.

My experience with SpaceMan was excellent. They were professional, responsive, and fairly priced. The sales person, Reva, replied to me at all times of the day or evening, came to my house on a Saturday to give me a bid, matched a competitor's price, and adjusted my design to get it exactly as I wanted. Marvin arrived on time yesterday to install the system, did a great job, and cleaned up afterward. Top Notch!!

I think they did an incredible job! Bill Wallace is the designer I worked with, and he is great! He’ll really listen to what you want, and it’s more than obvious that he knows what he’s doing. I worked with him in creating the design, and Spaceman took care off all of the construction. The company as a whole is very responsive to any questions and concerns.

The work turned out great. They are good company. They are very attentive to detail. They put the design together and put in the project. I have no complaints with this company. I have used this company multiple times.

I wasn’t totally pleased with the finish of the product. They ripped out the old and put in a new, it wasn’t necessarily a custom, finished back closet versus just using the back of the wall like he did. I think it might have been a communication error between the two of us with what he was going to do. His guys were on time and professional and they did their work, there were no issues there. I did think his pricing was a little high for what you got.

They did a good job. I thought they were on time, they were quick, they knew what they were doing, and the product was good. I would use them again and I was very, very pleased with their work.

They were excellent. They took a lot of time to measure and to ask me what I wanted and what I didn’t want. I went to their show room and they showed me different options. They really worked hard. They came out and fixed it right away when I had a problem. They were very nice. The man who came to take the measurements and who helped me at the store was very attentive and really worked hard to get me what I wanted. The guy who did the installation could have been better.
