Work began as scheduled and finished as scheduled. Price quoted was price charged. Site was left clean - all debris removed. I couldn't be more pleased with this experience. I am impressed with the professionalism of this company and would recommend this to anyone.

Vendor arrived on time to begin work, completed work as scheduled in an excellent manner.

They were very prompt in giving the estimate. They did a good job in their repairs.

The person I dealt with at Southwestern was Esteban Trevizo. He was the project manager and his brother was site leader. His brother had one helper to help him do the work. All three did an exceptional job. All the conditions of the contract were meant on schedule and within estimate. I have used Southwestern in the past on installing a roof, and replacing siding and have been very pleased with their work. After this job was completed I contracted Southwestern to remove wall paper, prepare the walls for painting and paint walls and base boards for the kitchen, bathroom, laundry room and hallway. I will evaluate their performance on this work when completed.

On 8/28/12, Luciano R. with Southwestern Roofing came out to our 3 story home with 40 foot ladder he needed and the men he needed to hold it. After inspecting the roof, he told us we didn't have a problem with our roof it was the ornamental window that was leaking water into our attic whenever we had a hard rain. About a week after he inspected our home he sent us a proposal for the work that needed to be done along with an estimate of $675. We asked them to complete the work as recommened and they came back out while we were at work and completed the job. We didn't even have to be home to pay them, they just sent us a bill. Very convenient company to work with and truly happy with their service.

We had two delays from the time set to replace the roof but they were because of weather. Once they were on site the job went quickly and efficiently. I was asked to come and inspect the work once done. Every question I had was answered and all the steps were explained once completed.

First I will say, we have used them a total of 4 times. Originally found them in the Shepherd's Christian Business Directory, about 12 years ago. They have done the roof on my daughter's houses (2) , my mom's house and my home. This last time, they started the work within a week of calling......and completed the job in 3 days. All the workers were great and the clean up was good, too. No problems with this company at all......and the roof looks great.

They did a really good job on the roof. The painting was good, too. I did have to have them come out for some touch ups and they were very willing to do so.

They said that they were on Angie's List. They were awesome. I talked to several companies and the things that made me go with them were their professionalism, the way the guy presented the quote to me and also because they were on Angie's List. I would give them an A+ on everything. I would use them again in the future for sure. I had a shingle pop up this summer and I sent the guy an e-mail and he was here the next day and fixed it for me.

An animal had created a hole in my two story, very slanted, roof. I called Southwestern roofing at 11:00 AM and described what I needed. The hole was about 6 inches by 8 inches. I was given a quote over the phone and after agreeing to the price, I was told the repair could be done that afternoon. Needless to say I was very pleased to hear that. By 6:00 PM, the work was completed and two weeks later I am very satisfied.

They did a great job. The pricing was GREAT! He was the best of three estimates we got. They came afterwards to inspect it with me to make sure I was happy. I would recommend them to others.

I really liked them. The pricing was fair. They work with you on things ahead. The quality of the work was acceptable but he was no perfectionist.

Prompt, competitive quote and were able to do the work the next week. Adjusted the bid to include energy star shingles + radiant barrier to get some tax credits. Communication wasn't perfect - I didn't get confirmation about schedule before the crew showed up to work. I requested for the work to be done ASAP, so it was no problem, just a surprise.

The overall experience was positive. Since the paint job, I have found a few minor quality issues, hence the "B" quality rating. However, for the price, I feel the quality was acceptable. If price is a primary driver, Southwestern provides good quality for their price range. If you are looking for perfection, you might have to hire another company and pay more, or call Southwestern out to fix follow up issues (I did not do this).

We had Southwestern Roofing give us a quotes for a roof & some exterior repairs including some siding. We hired them to do both. The roofing job went reasonably well, but the siding job did not. When quoting they said that they used Hardie plant & that Hardie did not havee a product that would match what we have on the house. We told them that two other bidders said that they could match what we have & he said that he would try. We stressed that whatever was used needed to be a rreasonably close match. They wanted to do the roof first with one crew & the siding work later with a different crew. The siding crew was supposed to contact us a couple of weeks after the roof was done. Three weeks later we had to call them & it took at least another week to get them out to do the work. When the crew got there they told us they they could not match our siding. We fired them. We have since gone on to James Hardie's site to see if they have a product that is a close match to what we have & it looks like they do. It is my impression that Southwertern Roofing did not even try to find a siding to fit our needs. We might use them again for a roof, but nothing else.

The intital response was on time & professional. I received an accurate quote at that time. When the date came to install the roof I had to call to find out when they would arrive. It was only then that I found out that they had to finish a job from the previous day before they could start on mine. Once there the crew was mpolite & worked very hard. They got what they could done that day & stopped at a point where there would not be any leaks while it rained for the next two days. When I called on Monday to find out when they would arrive to finish the job they told me that the crew would arrive around 12:30. At 1:20 I had to call to see when they would finally get there & was told that it would be about 20 minutes, which it was. Again the crew got right to work & kept at it till it got dark. They had to come back on Tuesday because of a shortage of some trim material. Again I had to call to findout what was going on. Overall they did a good job, but they really need to work on communicating with the customer.

They were very quick in replacing the roof only to find out that they did not install tech shield throughout the house as contracted and they failed to seal the vents and installed the wrong roof vents as per code. They failed to properly pour the foundation for a room extension and broke a water pipe causing the foundation to hollow out and piers to be needed. They did not complete the job in the time frame as per the contract.

Extremely well. They started immediately after we accepted their bid and worked diligently skipping only a rainy day in the middle. They were very neat and careful both in the painting and in avoiding overspray, tracked paint, etc. Junctures between interior areas that were not to be painted and the areas of new paint were crisp and clean. The lead guys were knowledgeable and informative, allowing me to make better decisions based on how hard it would be too redo the walls in the future. They were also very courteous, accommodating and patient when I decided on the weekend to change from flat to eggshell (before the paint was bought on Monday), when, after it started to go up on the wall, I didn't like the color I have chosen for the bathroom, and working around me, my sick but "helpful" child and our dog, and scheduling their comings and goings. When the two boards installed on the deck didn't match, that took them up and replaced them.

in the very beginning the communication was not good. they did not show up the first day to begin work because they thought it was going to be raining, but no one called to tell me that. but after that very initial problem, the communication was fast and accurate. and once they started, the team was incredibly fast. i still cannot believe they did the repair work and painted so fast. i'm impressed. i will use them again if needed.

They started the job the day after I signed the contract and worked from 8:30 until dark each day until the job was done even though the heat was unbearable. They kept the work area extremely clean and organized. The crew was very friendly, and courteous.

They came in, they were very professional and they lowered their price after I mentioned another company came in lower. They were very prompt. We had a problem with a lot of rain but they did a great job. I am very happy with it. They cleaned up after themselves every day. That is a big one for me.

Like other reviewers have found, I cannot get an estimator to my house. I have called and left messages and even set up an appointment over the phone. Inspite of this no one has come and no one has called back.

Except for a small snag in trying to find a replacement skylight they did a very good job. Did a nice cleanup after and came back in a timely fashion (within a few days) to fix a few minor problems.

contacted SW for an estimate for a complete R&R for a roof and chimney, set up a time to meet but the man didnt make it out when he was suposed to. when he did make it i wasnt home he wrote up an estimate for all of the wrong items, so the estimate was useless to me. at that point going any further was pointless so i chose M&M roofing to have the work done.
