I am extremely happy I was able to hire Servando and his crew. They were professional, worked efficiently, and polite. I had a very large oak tree haunting my front yard, and I did not realize how big my expectations were until they were all over the ground hours later. The tree I had removed took all day to remove, but they kept working at it and cleaned up after their selves. Servando came back the next day to complete the clean up the excess limbs due to the truck already being full, and even offered to come back a 3rd day if my tree haul away service doesn't take everything. I look forward to hiring Servando for future tree services, and will recommend his crew to anyone!

The deal was purchased and I met with the service provider to go over the work. The work was not performed but the scope was discussed for almost an hour. The meeting started odd from the beginning and degraded by the end. The service provider stated that if I would work with him that he rather use 2 men (himself and a helper). I stated that the deal was for 12 labor hours and that it didn't really matter to me how many men he used. So I agreed to that. We talked about the work and both agreed that it could be completed easily 6-8 hours. He had 3 parts to do, 1) saw-cut a fallen limb and haul, 2) haul small loose limbs stacked in a neat pile, and 3) take down and haul a medium limb. He stated he has a really big truck for hauling. He then decided that he only wanted to cut and remove the limb on the ground and haul away the pile of limbs for the deal because maybe his truck would get full. I couldn't believe he was suggesting that and I said how about removal of both limbs and leave me the pile. He reluctantly agreed then started walking around and saw a high power line which did not touch the limb and he decided to take back his agreement. I looked at the power line, and noted it didn't touch any limbs and said surely he could manage the risk as a professional since all the weight was away from the line. I said he could use the remaining 6-4 hours to work carefully like any professional would. He said because there is risk now he had to increase his price. I reluctantly agreed to increase the price and offered $600 then $700, he declined both. I said the cost increase should more than cover the perceived risk. He then stated he would do the whole job for $1,000, 2x the deal but could still do it in 6-8 hours... so where is the risk if he can do it for the same amount of time? He then wanted to remove the whole tree for $1200 when that was not even part of the scope. At this point, I got frustrated and pointed out all the discrepencies. He had admitted repeatedly that the job could be done in 6-8 hours (even with the "risk") and yet he wanted more. I worked with him on price twice, decreased the scope and that was still not good enough. I pointed that he was effectively turning the deal into the # of hours of his choosing, for the price of his choosing, for the scope of his choosing. I realized the absurdity of this and concluded the meeting.

I called them to get a quote and the showed up in a half an hour ready to work. Once we agreed on a price they trimmed all of the trees that needed it and removed all of the vines from the fence. They cleaned everything up very well and worked very hard.

Servando and his crew do great work. They trimmed up six trees on the properties of my adjoining neighbors that were overgrown and contacting our home's roof. They performed exactly the service I requested for exactly the price quoted. They were punctual, communicated well, and caused no issues with the neighbors, one of whom even got them to do some additional work on his trees. I will definitely use this service again in the future. Job well done.

They did an excellent job for the time they were here, especially considering that the property is very diverse with several different kinds of plants and trees. Mr. Martinez and his assistant did very honest and thorough work. They worked with my odd schedule as best they could. I'd hire him again and recommend him for anyone needing the same kind of services. They also cleaned up really well after themselves. Great guys and great company.

They were super! No problems at all. Two young men showed up right on time and were very efficient. They did a great job and cleaned up everything afterwards. I was very pleased with them and their work.

Mr. Martinez came to my home promptly and provided a complete estimate for the work requested. He negotiated the final price down approximately 5% from the original estimate. He and his crew arrived at the time promised and proceeded to work expeditiously. Mr. Martinez continued to coordinate with me during the work as to exactly what pruning cuts to make. All workers seemed very experienced in their jobs. The very large tree (a sweetgum approximately 70 feet tall with a trunk diameter of 23 inches) was surrounded on two side by a wooden deck and located within a flower bed. The tree was carefully removed without causing damage to either the flower bed or the deck. Debris removal was prompt and complete. The overall quality of the work was excellent except for the stump grinding operation conducted by Mr. Martinez personally. I did not observed the grinding operation (the last task performed) due to a previous engagement. I did not get to inspect the completed work until after Mr. Martinez and his crew had been paid and departed. All three stumps were completely removed. Upon inspection of the area of the stump grinding, I discovered that a number of in-ground garden waterlines had been severed and several were laying in plain site on top of the ground. I had failed to inform Mr. Martinez of the proximity of the water lines to the work site and, therefore, hold him blameless for their damage. I do fault Mr. Martinez for his failure to notify my wife of the obvious damage (she was available throughout the work). Further, while relocating the stump grinder from one site to another, Mr. Martinez drove the heavy lawn tractor on which it is mounted across a fully planted, raised flower bed and onto my concrete driveway. Mr. Martinez apparently did this rather than inconvenience himself to drive the machine another five feet around the flower bed and use only the driveway. Again, the damage caused by the tractor, though not extensive, was not reported to me. I conclude that Mr. Martinez and his crew do excellent work but do require a modicum of homeowner supervision.

Our giant tree had very long limbs, a few of which were dead. We considered this a huge, dangerous job and were very concerned about the safety of those doing the removal. We were reassured with the methods used. Other trees in the yard were not damaged. Everything was carted away and the care and thoroughness of clean up was exceptiona..
