Bought this company's voucher on Angie list and it turned out to be just a sales pitch - it makes no difference from negotiating price with them directly, or maybe even not as good as. That is not the issue. On installation date the technicians were 45 minutes late, Ok still no big deal. Then they spilled silicon glue on my bath room counter top and areas of the glass door. I had to spend quite some time afterwards trying to wipe those off and some spots still stay. Another thing - they did a detailed measurement so that the new structure shall totally match with the old one but somehow the side connected to the wall is about one inch off and the drill holes from old frame are now exposed. The people I interfaced with for the project all talk politely and professionally but the delivered work is below my expectation.

I did not post my review right away because I wanted to see how the shower walls worked. It's been slightly over a year since we had the work done. It's very easy to clean with a squeegee and the daily shower clean product that does not have ammonia. The work was done quickly and they cleaned up after themselves, including taking away all the old shower materials. The one thing I was not aware of was how bad the odor would be from the solvent used to remove the old glue. I literally had to leave the house it was so bad. The designer/ estimator was actually able to make the shower larger because of placement of the glass several inches larger than the last shower stall. It's surprising what a couple of inches difference can make. I did not originally go through Angie's List when I scheduled the appointment. When I told him I was in Angie's List member, they honored the discount I would have gotten if I had gone through Angie's List. I truly appreciated that.

They were done in 5 hours, which was a pleasant surprise. The glass components were custom fit to my unusual shower shape. They were able to give me several more inches of space in this shower because of the custom glass work they did. The only thing I was not aware of was how smelly the solvent was that was used to clean off the old glue. It very potent. Make sure that you close the door to the bathroom so this smell doesn't get into your whole house. They did an excellent job of cleaning up after themselves.

The door is gorgeous. The installers were great. It was the sales person who diminished their evaluation. He would not respond to my phone calls. He did not send me a copy of the paper work as promised. It took me calling the office and asking them to handle it that finally got some response.

It went fine but we had a bubble in the door right at eye level. The installer didn't say anything about it. I later called and they did replace the door. The door also leaked and they did send someone out to fix it. They were very responsive with my problems.

Custom made glass door. They came out and told me I was too early. Called when they suggested and they came out promptly. I was skeptical on the system they have on the no streaking but dang, I like it and would love to be able to get it on all my doors but i cant. First time install only. Get it!

It looks great, but getting it scheduled was more difficult since I didn't receive a call from the office after the person who made the measurements said they would call to schedule (I ended up calling myself after waiting a few days).

The installers showed up as promised on time but when they left they didn't test the shower door. They put the track on backwards that the door slides on and when my husband tried out the new shower to see how the door worked the water poured out onto the new bathroom floor tile. Luckily, my husband had the thick bath rug directly against the curb of the shower and it soaked up most of the water before it reached the wood in the adjoining hallway. We had out an out of town guest coming for the weekend so my husband had to rig a piece of flashing per say that directed the water back into the shower. It was awkward to say the least to explain to our guest. Shower Doors of Houston told us they couldn't get anyone out to fix the problem for several days which I did not think was good customer service considering the mistake made during the installation process. The tech that was sent out several days later was polite and fixed the track in short order. If we didn't love the shower door so much the grade would probably have been lower.

They scheduled the repair. I had to run down the street for a second and I missed the installation fellow, Vance, when he came. After doing a couple other jobs, he returned (he didn't have to at all, because it was me that wasn't home) and completed the replacement silicon install. AMAZING customer service. Vance didn't have to come back, but he did. Thank you Vance and thank you Shower Door of Houson

This is an ongoing nightmare - the project was supposed to be completed Thursday (3/16) but fabrication issues postponed the work until Saturday. The installers removed the old shower glass Saturday (3/18) and tried to install the new shower glass. Guess what?! Another fabulous fabrication issue. Now we have no shower and they will not get back to us until Monday afternoon. Are you kidding me? I have pictures to prove the fabrication issues which were clearly not checked prior to loading the glass on the truck. Thank goodness the installers knew what they were doing and pointed out the issue. Unbelievable! We will see if this gets resolved but I doubt it will be completed to our satisfaction. We should be compensated for the time lost, inconvenience, and schedule interruptions. I would never recommend this company. I do not see how they are rated so high on Angie's List. They have horrible customer service and obviously a ton of fabrication issues. I would advise competing companies to recruit their installers since they knew better than to install shower glass with a 1/2 inch gap in the corner.
