The entire process was painless and professional. After receiving the bid, my husband then arranged for the installation of the door. Was told it would take about 2 weeks for the custom made pieces to be ready, and date for installation was provided. Installers arrived exactly on time, and did a great job. They really had to work to remove the old doors, as the frame had been glued to the marble shower edge. They were not able to remove all the staining that the glue left, but all residue is gone, and the doors look terrific!
We had been anticipating having this work done for some time, and the Angie's List offer just pushed us over the line. We were very pleased with both the offer and the work done, This was our first use of Angie's List, but won't be the last!

Shower Doors of Houston promptly responded to our buying the service.  They set up an inspection and pre-installation visit within days of our buying the offer.

The representative was very professional and really knew the product lines.  He took all of the measurements and scheduled the installation.

The installers did a very good job and cleaned up after the installation.  We did have a slight problem with water seeping out of the stall.  When we reported the problem they were here 2 days later to correct it.

I would definitely recommend them.

From initial contact they were always very prompt with phone calls, initial site visit to take measurements, all the way to installation. Crew came in and went right to work. Very professional and obviously knew what they were doing. Very respectful and did an awesome job of cleaning and installation. Final product looks amazing and I would definitely hire them again.

After having my shower remodeled with ceramic tile, I discovered that I would need a custom built door. Turns out that custom built doors are expensive. After getting a couple of phone estimates of $1700 to $1900, I found the website for Shower Doors of Houston. It offered an online estimator. The estimate was lower than the others over the phone, so I had them come out to measure and give a quote. The gentleman that did the measuring was an excellent salesman. Enjoyed dealing with him. He pointed out the company's BBB rating and awards the company had received through Angie's List. Although a subscriber, I had not thought to look for this service through Angie's. When I looked them up, I discovered a promotion which made their, already best, bid even better. I signed up to have the job done on the following week.
Early in the 2 hour arrival window, I received a call advising that a part had been damaged at their shop. I began to be concerned, as I had taken the day off from work to be there for the installation. But he quickly indicated the part had been replaced and that the delay would be only a short time. They arrived only 30 min past the original 2 hour window.
The installation went quickly, without a hitch.  I highly recommend this company.

It was great. From the consultation where they explained options to the installers that came to put it all together, it was a great experience. They were very thorough and did a great job. If I had other showers to do I would definitely use them again.

They were excellent.  The installers were fast, thorough, courteous and did a fabulous job.  The price was not cheap but well worth it for the quality of the door and their service.  Also the spotless finish is living up to its name for sure!  I would highly recommend them.

I paid for the Big Deal and called the company for an appointment. Talked to Julie who said I the appointment would be between 9-10 on Thursday, July 24. She also said I would get a phone call between 8-9 to confirm my appointment. No phone call was received between 8-9. Received a phone call at 9:50 saying they could not get here until 10:30. Well... I took the morning off work to meet with them and have a commitment at 11:00. It is unfortunate that they do not value their commitments as I do.

"The appointment was scheduled with an arrival between 9-10 am. Per your request, our salesman called when he was on the way. He did call within the window to advise he was running late. Between a prior appointment taking longer than expected and traffic, it seems he was not going to make the exact window, but he did call within the 9-10 window to advise of such. We do offer the call ahead, however, we do not promise a specific window of time that you receive the call, just that the salesman will call ahead. I know that you purchased our Big Deal on Angie's List. We would still appreciate the opportunity to earn your business. Please let me know if you would like to reschedule the appointment. Perhaps choosing our first appointment time of the day would be of better convenience for you. Thank you"

I did not get the Deal price because they had to take out what we had attempted to do ourselves and they cleaned up the area just great before they left.  They would have been on time to the appointment but they were involved in a wreck on the way to my house so they apologized and told me what happened. They had also called me to let me know they would be late.

We used the coupon for a set of doors. There were no troubles with scheduling. They came out to take measurements and they showed my husband the options. They came back about two or three weeks later and completed the job.  They were running just a couple minutes late due to traffic and they called to let us know. The installers were great and cleaned well after completing the work. It turned out perfect!

There was an inital visit for measurements and another visit for installation -- it took a day and a half total to do. The installation was really well done -- very professional. The glass has a special finish that doesn't require maintenance or cleaning. I did have one issue with the water stripping (rubber sealer) and they came right out to fix it at no charge. Great installation, great company!

I purchased a big deal for $99 for $400 from Shower Doors of Houston. They showed up for the estimate appointment on time. Was told a quote over my planned budget and I said that I would need to look at a couple other competators for price comparisons. I said, I did not want to spend more than $1,000 for the total project. That price was accepted and the big deal coupon was not needed. I have now submitted for a big deal refund. I will have the door installed when the glass arrives for $1,000 total project expenses.

Went very well.  Arrived on time to measure and explained all options.  Took approximately 2-3 weeks to have it installed.  Installation went well and after a year we have not had any problems.  Upgraded glass is very easy to clean.
