I was supposed to get a call technician was on his way—no call...arrived at 8am Tech said other things were wrong and included a door realignment $250!!!! Fixed it before I could agree to this ridiculous overcharge In the end, the only prob was the water filter The refrigerator only needed a water filter—$40 I have used SEARS for all my appliances, but after being overcharged —I will never use your services again !

It went poorly. I called Sears Home Repair to schedule service on my washing machine. Made appointment for 1-5 PM window. When no serviceman arrived that day by 4:30 PM, I called Sears Home Repair (800-4-My-Home) for an update and was told I had to call their contracted repair company. I did and got voice mail and no return call. I tried again at 5:00 PM with the same results. I called Sears and was transferred to another dept and was disconnected. I called Sears a third time and the representative finally admitted (a) the repair company closed at 5:00 PM and no one would be coming today; (b) Sears' repair scheduling office closed at 5 PM so I could not talk to them; (c) she could not even reschedule my appointment - I would have to call the scheduling office in the morning if I wanted to reschedule; and (d) there was no supervisor available for me to talk to but she would ask one to call me that evening. Of course, that did not happen either. So this is an issue with both Sears and the specific repair company they hired.

Quick, professional, and pleasant ...

I was able to buy it on no interest for 2 years on my air conditioner. The warranty came with it. They came out and took care of it right away. It was hot. They came and they did it.

Not a good experience. I had a washer which is about 11 years old very little wear and tear as I am single. The man came out and told me he couldn't do anything for me as it was a certain part. That he doesn't do that anymore unless a person is on a monthly basis with them and it is over ten years old. So basically what should have cost a couple hundred dollars instead I just had to go buy a new one. I will never call them again nor buy from Maytag. Ten years ago they would have just replaced it but instead they just come in saying I need a new one. They should have told me on the phone since machine was over ten years old that they wouldn't do anything.

It went fairly well until it was determined I was due a refund (originally charged as a two person job, but only needed one.) Getting the refund was a cluster. I waited six weeks then called-they apparently outsource they're customer service and one department does not communicate with the other. It took 5 days of phone calls on my part to obtain the refund.

Very well. Technician explained the problem and possible causes. Both Techs were friendly.

Fantastic. Ended up buying new because of the cost of the repair, however we will use this company again. :)

Not well. We decided to replace the unit. 10 yrs old was not worth replacing compressor due to leak in line. short visit for 99 dollars.

Told me it wad not fixable needed to buy new one. Had another tech come out had to order parts working great no problems.

1st tech checked fridge and told me nothing was wrong. Following day I reported still not cooling and scheduled 2nd service call. 2nd tech (older & very experienced gentleman) immediately diagnosed the problem and fixed it. My concern is that younger Sears techs do not know their jobs or do not want to do the work (I believe the 2nd scenario based on my interaction with 1st tech). Work ethic seems to have taken a hit.

The repairman had no idea how to install the drawer and tried to tell me it never fit in the first place. He was unable to complete the job. On top of that he was rude. I will never hire them again

They have been here twice and I'm going to have to call them back again. It's still not working. It's doing the same thing it was the first time. They came out. I think they should have fixed the problem. When I called them out the second time for the same problem he tried to tell me that it was a power surge that knocked it off. He tried to sell me a surge protector for $25 I said no because I know a surge protector doesn't cost that much for a refrigerator. So he told me that next time I call them I need to have one on my refrigerator. So I said ok and put a surge protector on there and it's still not making ice. I'm giving it a few days and then I'm going to call them back. They were late and they didn't call. He said it was the office that was supposed to call and say he was running behind schedule. I used them because it was their product. I could use someone else.

The serviceman honestly explained that our washing machine needed a new motor and other parts that would make it more expensive to repair than buying a new one. We subsequently bought a new machine, but not from Sears.

Took four tries to repair the dishwasher. Kept sending the wrong part and the service people didn't know what they were doing.

The service was finally provided after two other appointments were not kept. My area is only scheduled for repair services one day per week by Sears. The initial service appointment was not kept because the serviceman had EIGHT appointments on his schedule that day. Only four had been completed by 6 pm when I called to inquire about not having seen serviceman. So, no serviceman came to my originally scheduled appointment. A second appointment was scheduled , serviceman called in sick, but no one called to let me know. I called when I looked online at my appointment and noticed the time had been changed from my original time of 8am and noon, to later in the day. I was told after calling, that no one was coming at all, serviceman was sick on that Tuesday, and had been out sick the previous day also. So, a third appointment was scheduled and actually honored. The original sservicemen who had been sick came. He was very professional, provided excellent service, called to let me know where he was timewise, and gave an approximate time to expect him. Sears apparently doesn't have enough service technicians and overbook those that they do have. I don't plan to use them unless an appliance is still covered by the original warranty and no other company can be used for service calls. The total time from calling to schedule servservant actually having the serviceman come was about two months, then another week waiting for the replacement part to arrive so I could place it in the freezer to begin dispensing ice. What would have happened had my freezer been leaking???? SORRY APPLIANCE SERVICE FROM SEARS!

They came on time. They shipped everything that was supposed to be here. They were really nice.

I use Sears for carpet cleaning when they have specials. They're really very good, I've used them multiple times.

We're not very happy with them. The service department never comes when you ask them to. The unit that they sold us obviously does not take care of the cooling needs in my house. They were not really good. Punctuality was even worse. They would not show up on time and then they would show up when you weren't here. They would say they didn't need to come in the house and then all of a sudden they would say oh we need to come in to fix something -not very good communication. The young man that sold the unit was very nice or we wouldn't have bought it from them. I found out later from all of my friends that I should have not bought it from Sears because none of them have had a good experience. They came late and worked until 1 o'clock in the morning. It was 87 degrees in the house that whole period. They didn't have parts that they needed so they used parts of my old air conditioner to complete the job. That was on a Friday or Sat. and so Monday they showed up at my door and I wasn't here. I happened to come back from where I had been and they were on the front of my house and they said oh we won't bother you. We just have to put the correct unit here. We installed the wrong unit. We didn't install the bigger unit that you had paid for. So they had to uninstall the smaller unit that they had in. It was in the high 80's in the house the whole time they were re installing that unit and they did have to come in the house many times. If I hadn't been here, I don't know how they would have done it. They had to go buy more parts because the bigger unit required higher fuse to make it work correctly and several other parts that they said they had to redo because the new unit work without the new parts. The people that install the units are from San Antonio so you don't get service in the same day.
