 + -1 moreRose Roofing was punctual to the estimate appointment, and I really liked the person who we hired. However, he didn't come with his workers the morning the work was to be done. It wasn't clear if the workers knew what all to do, and due to their limited English, I couldn't effectively talk with them. The overall look wasn't what I expected, but that may be my fault. When asked about it, Rose Roofing offered suggestions to change the appearance of the new flashing. We also found pieces of flashing and nails in our yard for weeks. On the positive note, the flashing repair worked and fixed our leak.
Description of Work: New flashing and seal existing flashing to stop a water intrusion.

I called for 1) a warranty item on the roof to be addressed and 2) additional work to be done since Hurricane Harvey and received silence after several calls and emails. Don't bother with them unless you have a roof replacement level of work to be done. They won't respond generally, or may respond if you give them a tens of thousands of dollars estimate on their email / answering machine.

 + -1 moreThey were quite responsive when I requested a quote. I paid $200 for 15 minutes work but, the leak persisted. I sent an email to one of the owners, reporting the continuing leak and hoping to take advantage of the 1-year warranty. I never received a response.

 + -1 moreThis experience was as GOOD as it gets! I am part of a 3 unit townhome and we all needed the roofs replaced. So there were 3 families asking questions and having issues all on ONE job. Ken was endlessly patient and his bid was clear and fair - his workers were polite, neat and worked non-stop. The work started and ended exactly as he had stated it would.
Description of Work: This experience was as GOOD as it gets! I am part of a 3 unit townhome and we all needed the roofs replaced. So there were 3 families asking questions and having issues all on ONE job. Ken was endlessly patient and his bid was clear and fair - his workers were polite, neat and worked non-stop. The work started and ended exactly as he had stated it would. The foreman even came in the house to check my attic and see if there were any gaps with vents. Ken came by the site several times during the job to check in with his workmen ( his permanent crew ). When the job was complete we all wanted to Tip the workmen but were told by Ken that they do not accept tips. Who does that?!! OK, so he won't allow a tip so I am going to give you readers one - "TIP - Really consider this company for your roofing needs!"

 + -1 moreI was told that somebody would be able to perform an estimate on the day after I initially called, so I stayed home from work that day. Nobody showed up, and I had to call the office around 4pm to find out that nobody would be coming. The estimate was re-scheduled for a day the following week, and that went smoothly and on time. Then, on the day the repair was scheduled to happen, it was initially scheduled for the morning (before noon), and nobody showed up in the morning. I had to e-mail the office to find out that the crew would not be arriving until the afternoon. Otherwise, the work was performed as advertised and the price charged was that which had been estimated and agreed upon.

 + -1 moreCalled Rose Roofing Tuesday morning after Labor Day (Sep 6) to request estimate of work. Was told they would be busy due to holiday so probably would not make it out Tuesday but someone would contact me regarding an estimate. By Thursday afternoon I still had not heard from anyone so I called again. Was told they had people out sick but someone should be available to call me and come by Friday. No call on Friday, gave up and called another company. Got estimate same day and repair was completed 3 days later. As of today, I have yet to hear from anyone at Rose Roofing. Maybe they consider repairs to be a low priority job..??.. Well, in summary, they may be a great roofing company, unfortunately they were not responsive and I did not have the luxury of time to keep waiting and find out for myself.

 + -1 moreWent exactly as planned, as advertised. The guys did it in a day, just like they said they would. This was in August 2008, one week before Hurricane Ike blew. I'd just bought the house, having moved to Houston from out of town. Never lost a shingle -- although I had several stray shingles in my yard, from other houses in the neighborhood. Quality work. 8 years on and it is still in great shape.

 + -1 moreThe repair was minimal and the work was excellent. The work doesn't appear to look like a patch job and blends in with the rest of my roof. For the ridge vents, I was surprised how well the installation went. First, the time it took was much shorter than I expected but second, the workmanship was excellent. The following week, we had more significant amount of rain which I considered a test run. No leaks and no issues with either the repair or the new ridge vents. Communication with Rose Roofing was easy and they were very considerate in terms of cleanup and making sure that all my questions were answered. I would use them again.
Description of Work: After some significant thunderstorms, we noticed a leak in our roof. Through a recommendation, I contacted Rose Roofing for an estimate to repair the leak but also inquired about adding ridge vents to my roof since this was something I was already looking into. Once the estimate was received, I scheduled work for the repair as well as adding ridge vents.

 + -1 moreOurs is a 19-years old, 3-story house. Mr. Rose did the work on a weekday, when no one was at home. He told us that the roof was good for at least 5 more years. Biggest surprise was that he did not charge us labor or a trip charge. Quite a contrast to 2 other companies that promised to show up but then failed to, perhaps because this was too small a job. Another quoted a minimum $350 for gutter repair, even before showing up. All in all, a very good experience.
Description of Work: Reattached a loose gutter, which had dislodged because of last week's high winds. Inspected roof for potential hail damage.

 + -1 moreThe work went ok. But we started having leak again in mid August. We called and asked them to come to take a look. They gave us another quote to fix the leak and never mentioned the warranty. We called and ask if the situation suitable to take the warranty service, they have stated that we should change the metal part of the vents and it is different repair. To us, we have asked them to come to fix the leak back in April , the same places leak again should be cover within 180 days warranty.
Description of Work: We had the Rose Roofing to seal all the vents and pipes in April 2015 with 180 days warranty.
