RB Windows & Siding/ M&M Windows & Siding

Everything was very professional and the outcome was what we were looking for. We had a hard time finding someone to do the repairs, and cant say really why. I mean, companies wouldnt even come give an estimate. Luckily M&M took on the task and did a great job at a reasonable price. We have more windows to do in the future and wont hesitate to give the job to them. ps...this review is late only because I forgot to do it and when I was here reviewing another company we used, I noticed my oversight.

The work was completed, as planned, and I am very happy with the outcome. I had some plastic "magnetite" inserts in the windows which had been installed by the previous owner. These inserts required extra time and effort to remove. Richard came up with a fix for a cosmetic problem the inserts had created. I would definitely recommend Richard's company to others. He went above and beyond what was required to have the job be top notch.

The brick mortar he used doesn't match the rest of my house. My mortar is white, and the mortar he used is gray. I have electrical issues from the electrician he used, and I didn't have any electrical problems before the work. He left my house in such a mess. He didn't cover anything, so my house is covered in dust, and he left trash in my yard. In the contract, he said he would have a cleaning crew come to clean up at the end of the job, and he has not. He has not been professional at all during the job. He said the job would take three to four days, and they have been working on it for over two weeks now and it's still unfinished. The windows turned out fine, and the window installers who worked for him were excellent. However, you should not use this contractor.

They said they oversold more deals than they could keep up with so they were making underhanded deals and not following through. They were trying to get around not selling me a coupon because they had sold more than they could keep up with. We played phone tag for many days and they ended up not calling me back and the work was never done. They may be too small of a company, but it was a negative experience and they lost a customer.

I did not find this provider on Angie's List, but my experience was good, so I wanted to post about it. I found RB Windows & Siding through one of those Groupon-type deals. I called Richard to discuss my situation prior to buying the Groupon. (The deal was only for one level of gutters). He quoted me a very fair price for the additional work. We did have some trouble with our appointment; they had to reschedule us a couple of times due to weather conditions, but it was important to me to get a weekend appointment, it eventually worked out. They were really good about keeping me informed both when they had to cancel and when they were on their way to my home. I was satisfied with the work and would definitely use them again.

our house is a 1952 bungalow in Bellaire. We had 11 original windows, single pane, deteriorating woodwork, etc. Richard quoted an excellent price on windows that would be custom made for our house. He is a good solid, family man with a great work ethic. He was a good communicator (phone/text) and was here on time. The job took two days. Half of the windows he had to replace were firmly painted or siliconed into place over the years and couldn't be opened, which made them difficult to remove. All windows were replaced well, all repair work was done right away, with woodwork trim caulked, primed and painted. Cleanup was excellent. This is a guy who works hard, does a great job and stands by his product. He is possibly the best person we have ever contracted any work to. The job was very well done, all of our neighbors want OUR windows, and I wouldn't hesitate to have Richard and his crew over here again.

During our master bath renovation, I decided to replace the two existing 18x48 non functional windows with two 48 x 48 slider windows. Richard came to our home as scheduled to give us a quote and show us the window options. His price was great considering the work that had to be done to install the larger windows. I was on a very tight schedule to get the windows ordered and installed within a two week period so that the electrician and plumber could do their work as scheduled. Richard was awesome and was able to install the windows earlier than promised. As promised, on July 8 the installer arrived at our home and spent almost 10 hours getting the windows installed and ensuring that the windows were framed on the outside and inside of our home. Both Richard and his installer were professional and pleasant to work with. I would highly recommend them and would not hesitate to use them again.

They did it when we had the hurricane. They responded quickly and just did a good job. They were very professional and on time. They also cleaned up after themselves. My insurance paid for most of it. I had a great experience with them. I don?t have any problems or complaints. There has been no leaking or anything. Everything is good. I have used other companies in the past where the roof has leaked even after the work was completed.

Our first contact with Richard and Manuel was following some unfortunate dealings with another window company never started the work and has yet to refund our down payment. Manuel was the window installer for this company, and Richard was a sales agent. Richard never abandoned us (or his other customers) throughout our unfortunate experience with this company. He then decided join Manuel and work as independent window installers as M&M Siding and Windows. We met (and intensively interviewed) them both again; they willingly offered a hefty discount to cover our losses with the other company, and agreed that we would now proceed very cautiously, we would purchase the windows directly, and they would offer the labor and installation. They were very professional, and we finished with a written contract. They would not be paid until the job was completed to our satisfaction. The job would be completed without interruption. They double checked our previous window measurements, and obtained a quote from the distributor for the windows we had chosen (Sound and Security package SpectraGuard windows from PGT Industries). We arranged for the payment of the windows, within three week our windows were ready for installation. The windows were delivered on Monday morning, and Richard, Manuel and two others came to unload the truck and confirm the full delivery as specified by the order. As a crew of four, they then worked until late Wednesday (start 8:00AM, end 6:30PM each day) when the job was completed. Since this was the week of Thanksgiving, we with my relatives were present most of the time while the work progressed. On a job of this scale there is a lot going on. However, all of M&M's crew were extremely polite, professional and courteous. Throughout the job all the old glass panes and debris were piled up neatly in a designated section of the yard. All of this was picked up on Wednesday afternoon, before the final windows went in and the job was finished. Upon completion we toured and inspected both the inside and outside of all the windows. Everything looked very good. They made final adjustments and caulking to a windowsill that had shifted slightly. They also pointed out that two insect screens were missing. They notified the window manufacturer, and two weeks later Manuel came to personally deliver the missing screens. Overall, despite our unfortunate dealings with the initial window company, we have been extremely impressed by the professionalism, attention to detail, quality and service from Richard, Manuel and the rest of M&M's team. They have been accessible, courteous and supportive ever since our initial contact with them. We strongly recommend them.
