My wife and I were very pleased with the work and craftsmanship displayed from Ramirez Carpentry. Wilfrido went above and beyond to complete the work in a timely manner even as the job grew in scope based on unexpected issues that were encountered once the work was started. Not only was his carpentry work excellent, but he assisted in recommending and arranging for an additional contractor to assist with removing and replacing sheetrock, stud replacement and painting and he made sure he was there to help coordinate the work. I would highly recommend Wilfrido for any carpentry related projects.

I have several built in bookcases that needed to be modified for electronics and converted into desks. I had used Wilfredo a few months ago to fix an antique table that a previous “carpenter” had damaged instead of repairing. Obviously, I reached out to Wilfredo for this job as well. He was able to complete the project in one day, on site, and the work was so good that when my wife say it she had me commission more work from him. Carpentry is one skill that cannot be undone, if you screw up you must start over. No second chances. I cannot recommend Wilfredo enough, I wouldn’t trust my house to anyone else.

My wife has an antique telephone table that’s over 100 years old from Germany. It is the only family heirloom she had left. It was damaged in a move and I hired a carpenter from Restoration Hardware to come and repair it. He repaired it incorrectly, used glue instead of nails and then blocked my number after he screwed up! Out of desperation we called Wilfredo. Wilfredo was there in a day, repaired it on the spot and secured a priceless treasure! At the end of the day, carpentry is a skill that you don’t want to compromise on. There is no such thing as saving money when it comes to carpentry so you’d better do it right the first time with someone who knows what they are doing, and that is Wilfredo!

We couldn't be happier with the work that Ramirez Carpentry performed in our garage. They started and completed the work in the window that they quoted. The quality was better than I had expected and asked for. I was content with something that would be somewhat rough around the edges, however they went above and beyond and took the time to make sure that everything looked polished. We will definitely be in touch with them again when we have more carpentry needs around the house.

I had trouble finding someone who knew how to square the frame of the door. Ramirez Carpentry of Houston was able to do it. Most people don't want to take on a small job such as this. Ramirez Carpentry of Houston specializes in small jobs. I would use them again and recommend their service.

Mr. Wilfrido Ramirez was very responsive and prompt. He and his crew arrived the morning after I placed my initial call to ask him to lower a kitchen half-wall and prepare it to support a quartz counter-top. Mr. Ramirez and his crew completed the work with professionalism, discipline and attention to detail. The half-wall was covered with a wood veneer, which Mr. Ramirez carefully removed to avoid marring it. The work had to be exacting because the half-wall will support a heavy quartz counter-top. Mr. Ramirez made sure that the height of the half-wall matched the height of the cabinets. He reapplied the wood veneer and wood trim without damage to the finish. This was a feat that testifies to his experience and skill.

Real-deal carpenters - excellent quality of work on a tricky project. They were very responsive and worked with me to get work done in a short time frame. I paid a little more to get the work done quickly, but overall fair pricing.

But he never bothered to give me the price because he is so busy . I called him for price, he said he can not do it . You should still give estimates whether you are busy or not, customer will decide to wait or not. Very bad experience！

You can usually tell about a provider’s performance at the first interview. Listen to how they respond once you’ve told them what is needed. Mr. Ramirez was well prepared; taking measurements, letting me know how long it would take. He was on the mark. Excellent job. Well done.

Wilfrido has great communication skills, he reliably came every day til the job was finished, even when the weather didn't allow for him to work, he called or came by. The quality construction he did blended right in and looks original. Great job, no issues at all!

The work was completed and delivered as promised. The craftsmanship and the quality of work exceeded my expectation and I am not an easy person to please. I also consulted with him on some panel molding I was looking for for my fireplace - Mr. Ramirez was very helpful and generously offered information. Most importatntly Mr. Ramirez has the right attitude, knows how to treat customers, and conduct business in a professional way.

We purchased the hardware recommended and he installed the door in a professional manner. He was very good about communicating with us when setting the appointment.

Mr. Ramirez promptly came to our location and in just a short time, determined that the window unit could be patched, but the correct long term option would be replacement. He ordered a replacement vinyl window unit that day from a local supplier, and on delivery of the new window unit, installed it with new trim inside and out. Looks brand new, and the job was done very economically.

Wilfrido came out, measured, and bid on project. The project was to fabricate and paint offsite, then install a new laundry room storage system consisting of floor to ceiling cabinets. He completed the project a day early, on budget, and even brought out the painter to do some touch ups once the storage system was installed. Based on my satisfaction with the first project, I asked Wilfrido to give me a price for a second project which was a built-in floor to ceiling linen closet for my guest bathroom. He also fabricated and painted the wooden trim for a 86'" x 36" mirror for my master bathroom. Again he completed the work a day earlier than expected and informed me of this ahead of time.

Since I had just completed remodeling our house I didn't want the work to be performed onsite to minimize the dust and possible over spray from fabricating it onsite. This was not an issue and Wilfrido showed up with the pieces painted and ready to install.

Overall I am happy with the work. We had a few missed touch up spots after the second project, but his painter was back out the next days after I made him aware of my concerns. If I had another time sensitive carpentry project, I would use Wilfrido again.
