PRIDE OF PERSIA RUG CO

I have purchsed several runs from Pride of Persia over the last 16 years. The first purchase was 5 rugs of varying value but I believe the total price was $10,000. Having never before purchased rugs I honestly didn't know if the price was a good deal or not. However the owner Mehte, was so enthuiastic and eloquant that I decided to trust him. I have since had the rugs cleaned and repaired by other companies and they have consistently valude the rugs much higher that what I paid (sometime by a factor of two). The most recent puchase was not different. A great selection of rugs and reat prices. So the do is... Do trust Pride of Persia and The Don't is... Don't buy from anyone else

A few years ago I found a beautiful but worn Persian rug at a yard sale for just a few dollars and I bought it for my sister. Recently my sister and I did some research on the rug to see if it was worth anything and found that it was at one time a very expensive rug. We tracked down the last company that had sold the rug and found that it had sold for 11000 dollars in 2007. We took the rug to Pride of Persia to see if it could be repaired fully willing to spend a large amount of money to have what we thought was a very nice rug repaired. When we got there the rep looked at our rug and said he would need to call the owner in. A short time later the owner arrived and examined our rug. he explained the the rug was a "chemically aged" rug and that it was very nice but not worth repairing because it would slowly fall apart due to the chemicals used in the "aging" process. He did not press us to buy another rug or even offer to buy ours he just told us to enjoy the rug. I felt he was very honest and very very knowledgeable. I would not hesitate sending a friend to him.

Our brand new massive rug was immediately chewed on pretty good by our lab puppy. I needed it fixed ASAP in time for a party. Lisa took care of me, and arranged for pickup and delivery of the rug. I got the rug back with a day to spare, and it looks great.
