Mark Brawley was a great asset to have as we went through our first homebuying experience. He was patient and knowledgeable as he walked us through all the steps we needed to take. We started by giving him a few specifics and he gave us an internet portal with hundreds of homes to consider that fit our specifications. We then could narrow them down and look at them at our own convenience, and go see only the ones we liked best. He was incredibly responsive and helpful throughout the entire process, and never hesitated to take us to a property we liked. We probably looked at close to 20 homes with no problems. When it came time to put in an offer, he was great to have on our side as he knew so much about the surrounding neighborhood and comparable houses. Our first offer fell through due to some shady business by the seller, but he was upbeat and said he was happy to start over and reassured us that he'd get us a home that we loved. When it came time for our second offer, he saved us a ton of headache and money by negotiating extensive renovations into the deal. He also helped us work through the entire closing process, and caused the closing agent to remark that she never works with realtors as thorough as him.
