I rented an ice machine from Mirex and it broke down repeatedly, because it couldn't keep up with the heat in the warehouse where it was located. After dealing with repairs for over a year I told them I was done and would they please just pick it up. But they wouldn't let me out of my contract! It seems that my only option is to pay out the rest of the five year contract (thousands of dollars!!). It doesn't matter that it didn't work or that I wasn't satisfied. As a business owner, I simply can't believe that any company does business this way. If my customers aren't happy, I try to resolve the situation, but I never make them continue to pay! Mirex has absolutely terrible service. Chas Hollis sold it to me, Christine is in charge of contracts, Charlie Hollis is the owner and John is the controller. Don't sign a contract with them unless you want to be held to it. I'm investigating small claims court now. What a nightmare.
