I was told that Joyce(The Sales Rep) would come look at my home-She never did-I was told $60 per hour and though I thought that was high-I was led to believe that a crew was coming or at least 2 people. instead 1 person showed up and was there over 5 hours. Though she may have tried-I explained to the Sales Rep that the home needed a deep thorough cleaning and needed to be made ready for rent. the job that was performed was hardly worth $100. I would warn any and everyone NOT to use this company. by the way-when I did call back to express my disappointment-I was told that I had waited too long and offered 10% discount to have them come out again.  talk about salt in an open wound!!

I have been using Merry Maids of Houston for three years now.  When I first contracted with their service, I was simply amazed at their service and quality, and relieved that I could redirect my time toward  my newborn.  A team of two ladies would come every other Thursday and did a fantastic job.  I could even leave them notes with something specific I needed done, and they would take care of it.  I had this team consistently for about two years, but then management made a change.
They broke up the team, and now only one of the ladies come on her own.  Her work is diligent in areas, but you can tell it is rushed.  I have a 3,000 sq ft home - and one person working alone cannot clean it effectively in two hours.  If that could be done, I would just do it myself???  I have had to call them back on a couple of occasions to re-perform the work.  The cleaning was so poor on their last visit, that I am just going to cancel my service and look elsewhere.  The floors were clearly not vaccumed, the kitchen countertops still had coffee drips and thus had not even been wiped down (much less cleaned), and lights were left on all over the house!  This visit also was not my regular provider - as she always leaves my receipt personally signed and in the same place - that did not happen this time.
I have had numerous conversations with the sales representative and the office manager.  The quality of service is a time management problem - and I am very frustrated, because I am sure that my usual lady will some how be blamed for my dissatisfaction.  Apparently management has no interest in keeping my business so I will just have to move on.  The price is acceptable if I were getting a satisfactory job - but that is not the case anymore - so that is why I rated them a 'C' on cost.

They come every other Saturday.  They clean the whole house and they are very thorough.  Each week they clean baseboards and fans and change the beds, clean the kitchen and the counter tops, clean the appliances and scrub floors and scrub the toilets and tub and clean light fixtures, vacuum and dust.  There are two people that do it and it takes about an hour and a half.  I will continue to use their services in the future.

No problems. The estimate was thorough and the work was done as promised. Overall the work done was pretty good, but not excellent. Some stains were not removed even though I was able to remove them later.

I have booked them for the end of the month. Willie Beal came out to evaluate my needs - I loved her! It was very professional and I think, fairly priced. I hope I will be pleased with the actual cleaning.

The company never returned my phone message or respond to an email request sent through their website.

Merry Maids took my call immediately, and came around to give me an estimate. Their prices were very reasonable, and they agreed to give my house a thorough cleaning. The cleaning was scheduled immediately, and the maids were on time. They brought their buckets, mops, vacuum cleaner, and other cleaning supplies. They vacuumed, mopped the floors, polished the furniture, dusted windowsills, baseboards, and made the beds. They picked up all their cleaning supplies, loaded up their van, and left the house immaculate.

Merry Maids answered my call quickly and followed up readily with an estimate and cleaning service. They were very reasonable with their prices and were able to explain the specific areas they would clean and what cleaning solutions they would use. The house cleaning was scheduled as soon as a day and time were set, but the maids were not on time. They didn't vacuum, dust, mop, clean windowsills, or polish furniture as good as they should. They did not do all that I asked them to do, so I will never use them again.

THEY WERE ON TIME, EASY TO COMMUNICATE WITH, AND DID A VERY GOOD JOB.

THE FIRST TEAM BROKE MY MINI-BLINDS ON THEIR FIRST VISIT. THE OWNER WAS NOT VERY GRACIOUS, BUT DID REIMBURSE ME. IN FOUR WEEKS, DESPITE THEIR ASSURANCES THAT I WOULD ALWAYS HAVE THE SAME TEAM, THREE DIFFERENT TEAMS CAME TO MY HOUSE BEFORE I DECIDED NOT TO USE MERRY MAIDS ANYMORE. TOO MANY BROKEN PROMISES. THEY DON'T SCHEDULE BY ZIP CODE AND THEY DON'T TELL YOU IN ADVANCE IF YOUR TEAM IS NOT GOING TO BE THERE FOR SOME REASON. TO ME, THE PROBLEM SEEMS TO BE IN THE OFFICE, BECAUSE THE WORKERS THEMSELVES ARE VERY NICE AND HARD WORKING, BUT THEY AREN'T IN CHARGE OF SCHEDULING. I DECIDED THAT IF THE PROBLEM WAS IN THE OFFICE SCHEDULING AND THAT IF THEY HAD BEEN MISREPRESENTING THE SCHEDULE TO ME, I HAD NO CHOICE, BUT TO GO ELSEWHERE.
