Got an estimate on Thursday and had the job performed on Friday. He was on time. In fact he was a little earlier. The estimate for cost and time to complete were right on the nose.

Honest, responsive, fast, very reasonable (half the price of the big company quote), and the house cools like never before.

McGregory installed a new 3 ton Trane XR 16 w coil, platform & misc to make it all go. Very good, quiet model. I couldn't be happier with the owner and the work performed. I checked around with a few installers and the only better deal I was offered was a bit sketchy and made me worried about follow-up if necessary. No worries there with McGregory. Very honest and dependable- he didn't upsell me anything. He was honest about a repair that he was going to do at my request and then he learned it was not necessary and explained to me why- no charge. Install next day and he arrived exactly at committed time with a couple of guys who were all business. He said the job would take about three hours and they were done in 2:45. They know their stuff. I'd recommend them to my mother. We love the new Trane. It's working properly and Much quieter! :)

Mr. McGregory and his crew were punctual and worked very efficiently. The new intake register looks great, and the duct going from register to air handler is well-installed. There was a bit of installation debris (e.g., packaging from the grill) left in the attic, but the attic is very difficult to work in, so I understand that it would be easy to overlook. Mr. McGregory kindly came out to help troubleshoot a noise in the system (which pre-dated his work) afterwards.

Gregory was on time, early actually as he beat me home. He quickly diagnosed my issue (the indoor unit was not properly cooling the house due to a formation of ice in the pipe). The solution would be to add freon to the unit and allow the ice to melt to order to free up the passage of air? (I think). He told me that the coil in the indoor unit might need to be changed but advised me not to spend the $700-$800 cost to do so unless I absolutely had to (saving me money in the interim). I would definitely recommend his services as not my home is cool!

Dennis and his crew came out early on a Saturday morning and were finished within 4 hours from start to finish. The crane had to lift our new unit onto our roof and they did so without incident. Dennis and his crew were very professional and efficient and carried away all the old stuff and left our place clean and neat. The original quote didn't change and we were very impressed and would highly recommend Dennis McGregory for any AC/Heating work.

The A/C Tune-up was scheduled for May 22, 2014 at 9:45 AM. Mr. McGregory texted the night before saying he might be arriving about 15 to 30 minutes late but he was actually right on time. I really appreciated Mr. McGregory notifying me the night before he might be a little late - I have been dealing with roofers who call after they are already late to say they will late. Mr. McGregory personally did the service so no dealing with a subcontractor who doesn't speak English. Mr. McGregory used the front door mat on his shoes to make sure the bottoms were clean he entered the house as he went between the parts of the system in the attic and outside. The fan on our A/C unit sounds out-of-balance and I asked Mr. McGregory about this. He said it could be the blade or the motor. If we wanted to get rid of the noise he said to replace both and it would cost about $375. But he said it wasn't a problem operationally and if the sound wasn't bothering us to not worry about it. He didn't try to push this replacement at all even though I brought it up. We have an insulation "tent" over our attic door that we had moved out of the way before Mr. McGregory arrived. When he was done he put the tent back in place. Everything went perfectly.

They did a great job, were on time, efficient and honest. Will recommend and use them again.

Excellent. They worked easily with us to schedule the work at a convenient data and time, were on the job exactly at the agreed time, and finished the work in a reasonable amount of time (faster than I expected). While I think Dennis usually works by himself, for this job he brought along 2 extra helpers - key to getting the work done quickly, safely and with no collateral damage. They were great - don't discount his capability because he is a small operator. This was our second experience working with Dennis. He has always provided prompt, efficient and competitively priced service. We will definitely call him back for routine system checkups and service.

I thought they were great. The guy was punctual and knowledgeable. He seemed honest and he is the owner so he really cares about having a good relationship with his customers.

Very helpful. Proposed a few options, gave advice, completed the repair quickly for a reasonable cost.

Dennis was on time and started right away. He inspected everything and added a small amount of freon. Repaired a hole in the intake duct. The cost was very reasonable. He is a very personable guy. I'll definitely use him again.

Mr. McGregory came out the within a couple of hours of my call one chilly morning. He diagnosed the problem with our furnace and repaired it within 15-20 minutes. In fact, he was probably on the phone holding for our home warranty company (which approved the repair) longer than the actual repair time. Even the home warranty company said he offered a great rate. He was very professional, and patient- saved me some money by sitting through the "on-site repair approval" phone call required by my warranty company in order for me to get reimbursed. I'm so glad I found him on Angie's list and grateful that my furnace is now working!

Great! He arrived in less than 20 minutes and immediately fixed the problem. He was knowledgeable and professional. It is cooler in here already. I will definitely call him again next time I have an A/C issue.

Wow! We had an AC problem and Mr McGregory arrived at our house an hour after we called. He fixed the problem quickly and at a great price. He is polite and honest. He's awesome.

After our AC stopped cooling we had about 5 different quotes from different service company's. Dennis came out the same day we requested. We thought part of our unit needed to be replaced but Dennis thought we should just take the less expensive route (adding Freon). It's hard to find honest repair men these days but Dennis was very honest. We highly recommend him!

Excellent service all around. Very professional and explained the issue in plain English when the job was done. He arrived right on time very shortly after I called on a Saturday and got the job done fast.

My AC stopped cooling and Mr. McGregory was out to my house within a few hours, refilled the freon, educated me on possible systems that might be a good fit for me in the future when my system goes out completely (it's 15 years old). He was very professional and knowledgable. I would definitely use him in the future.

We called for service around 6:00 PM, and Mr. McGregory came out in about an hour. He refilled the old A/C with R22 refrigerant to keep it cooling until he could come back in a couple of days to install a new system. As an Angie's discount, he didn't charge anything for this first visit. He came back on Saturday morning with his crew and installed the new A/C. He found that the old evaporator coil was really clogged up on its exterior surfaces and the drain pan was corroded, so he replaced both. He provided expert service at a very reasonable price.

Yesterday evening we noticed that upstairs was no longer getting cooled. Fan seemed to be working but with very little air flow. I turned the unit off to allow any ice buildup to thaw overnight. This morning at 7:30am I called Dennis, after a little research on Angie's List. He said he could be at our place at 10:30am, and so he was! He quickly analyzed the problem (low on coolant) and refilled it. Dennis was very pleasant and happy to answer all sorts of questions (use of Freon, life expectancy of a/c units, etc.)

Our A/C was going out, and we knew it had to be replaced. Fortunately, it wasn't all the way gone and we had the luxury of getting three bids. McGregory was the low bidder, and I was impressed with the way he answered my questions, and seemed very professional. On the day of the job, his crew showed up on time, put dropcloths down over my new wood floor, and got right to work. Six hours later, the job was done, the house was cooling down, and the house looked like it did when they arrived. I was extremely happy - especially given that the cost of the job was about half ARS had quoted me!! They wanted $14,000 to replace the A/C! In short, McGregory rocks. I'd call them again in a heartbeat.

ENDED UP GOING WITH ANOTHER PROVIDER, BUT STILL VERY IMPRESSED WITH KNOWLEDGE AND WAS VERY HELPFUL. WOULD DEFINITELY CONSIDER IF SERVICES NEEDED IN THE FUTURE.

The only reason I didn't go with McGregory is because my home warranty company insisted on using a different company. They proved to be nowhere near as responsive, professional or knowledgeable.

Contacted McGregory AC based on Angie's List ratings. Dennis was responsive, 20% less than the competition, professional, and performed high quality work. Workers removed all old equipment and cleaned up completely. Dennis tested system completely and made fan adjustments to ensure proper airflow. He then made sure I understood how to register the equipment for warranty coverage.
