Holy smokes the BEST. Profound punctuality, professionalism, and most importantly, as a new homeowner, I know with absolute certainty that I can put my trust in Mr. McGregory. He came over exactly as promised, did the tune up inspection, checked the entire system (thermostat, fuses) and let me see the current state of my unit and the honest run down. I felt no pressure from him, but decided to replace a few rusted parts that might have had an extra season in them. The next day the unit stopped running and he was so responsive, came so quickly, assessed the situation, recognized that the system had tripped (most likely by accident by the HVAC Cleaner in the attic that had come by that morning), tuned up the fan even more, and didn't leave (about an hour later) until the system was CLEARLY running perfectly. He refused any additional payment or compensation. Fast forward 2.5 weeks, and our tenants callled saying that the unit again wasn't working--again McGregory picked up the phone immediately twice that evening, promised to swing by first thing in the morning, did just that, gave me a call and let me know that it's our fuse. He got the fuse working, checked to make sure the AC was running again properly and was on his way, again, with the refusal for any compensation. Can I just say, that I know we hit the jackpot with him? I'm so loyal already. We've got an electrician coming to the house tomorrow to swap out the amps from 40 to 50 for the AC fuse as per Mr. McGregory's inspection and I know for a fact that our unit will hum along well for a while after. I couldn't encourage more people to reach out to him, what a class act. Great guy, really the best professional in Houston you could have.

The experience was great! Dennis did a great job. He provided a full maintenance check and advised us of some items that need to be done in order to get a few more years out of our systems. We will definitely contact Dennis again in the future!

I called McGregory A/C to get a quote on a new condenser unit fully prepared to purchase one as doing so had been recommended by another A/C company. Dennis McGregory (the owner) examined the situation, including the condenser. and diagnosed the problem instead as insufficient air return. About three days later, McGregory's crew installed the second air return in less than two hours, and it improved my A/C's performance by the next day. I had to do some minor clean up and touch-up painting after the work, but I didn't feel this should adversely affect any of the ratings above. McGregory's insistence that my condenser unit was functioning properly and that replacement wasn't necessary was appreciated.

Dennis Mcgregory is very patient in explaining the situation and does not upsell. His responsiveness is excellent. Work was completed and will wait for how the system performs.

McGregory also had been out on June 1 to replace freon and plug a leak with some sort of sealant. It really is a good unit -- we've just had a bit of bad luck. Same story as on July 13. He could have charged more, and we would have been none the wiser. But he didn't.

Everything was done quickly and effectively. We were extremely pleased with the whole process.

Dennis showed up very quickly and sent a quote promptly. For me, it is very nice to do business with him because he has a very no-nonsense approach to the work. His prices are very good and he seems competent at what he does. He took care of the permit, brought a crew of three people, and got the work done quickly. It has been about a year since the installation and without problems. More recently, I asked Dennis to look at an issue with another a/c compressor. I was quite impressed with how quickly he dealt with the problem with a single visit with his usual no-fuss attitude, saving me time and money. I'll gladly use him in the future with no hesitation.

My a/c unit was leaking water last night and I called at 7:30 this morning to try to get service (this was the first time I had used this company). Not surprisingly, there were jobs already scheduled for today but Mr. McGregory came to the house around noon, cleared the blocked drain and added some freon. He was fast, professional, and it was a very fair price. i was very pleased and will continue to use this company for all my heating and a/c needs.

Dennis was wonderful. He showed up on time, was confident but not off-putting, and was a very good communicator (he explained what he was going to do before just going off and doing it, and then explained his findings and his recommendations). I also asked him about making one particularly hot room a bit cooler, and he made 2 recommendations, one cheaper and one more expensive. He didn't push me to purchase anything additional; he's professional and knowledgable without being sales-y. He has a great demeanor and has earned my future business, for sure!

Dennis lives up to all his great reviews! He came out to look at the unit within an hour (on a Saturday!) and fixed everything quickly and efficiently. I'm saving his contact info and will call him again for my next HVAC needs.

Excellent work. Dennis came promptly on a Sunday. Reset the a/c's computer (or whatever it is). Didn't have the correct Freon with him, but he returned the next afternoon. So, two trips, great results, and very reasonable cost.

McGregory A/C & Heating replace a failed condenser / compressor on Memorial day. Our unit failed on Sunday afternoon. McGregory came out the same day to diagnosed the problem. After trying to fix the unit we had McGregory replaced the unit the following day. Nice to have the AC back on.

Arrived on time, inspected AC, said it needed 2# freon (at a reasonable cost) and showed my the gauge. Added freon. Said drain pan at attic air handler was rusty and gave me approximate cost, but didn't push for extra work. Everything met my expectations.

He was fabulous. I was very pleased. I live in a town home were it is located on top of the roof, he had to bring in a crane. It was quite the ordeal so he did a fabulous job. I can't say enough nice things about him. He was one of the least expensive.

Dennis came out to do the job. He was wonderful. He did a great job. He was amazing. He actually came back a second time to check it. He was great. We had a leak about two weeks ago. It wasn't the area where he replaced the pipe. But it was another part of it because it was an old pipe. He came back. He didn't charge us for the second trip. We've only had three incidents since we found him. In July, he was just like, "Hey, I know it's hard. I'll be out there." He came out early before his day started to help us get A/C again. He is very customer oriented. He is very polite. He is efficient and he cleans up when he leaves. He is the best we've ever had. He is very good on pricing. He is very comparable to everyone else. Plus, I think he gives get service which you don't always get. His price is very fair. He says, "I'll be there" and he is here. He always calls before. Back in July when he was coming he called and he goes, "This job is taking a little bit longer. It will probably be about an hour." We were just like, "Fine." We live in the Champions area. I think his office and his business is way down in Mission Bend area. It is kind of south west Houston. We live in north west. So he is driving a long distance to do the service.

Dennis was polite and professional and very efficient. Unfortunately, my compressor is bad and will need to be replaced. Dennis was very courteous and not at all pushy about replacing the unit. He gave me the cost of replacement and I feel certain that I will call him back to do the work after I talk to my husband.

The technician arrived a little late compare o the planned window but apologized due to the heavy rain on the day. He was polite and efficient, checked everything and show us and explain very clearly what we should change (filter), where to order it from on line and how to maintain the A/C system. I would recommend them and use them again in the future.

Dennis was working on another job when my furnace quit. He rearranged his schedule to come over and check it out that day. I was provided a repair option along with the price to replace the furnace. I decided to go with the replacement. The job was done and completed the next day. The service from both Dennis and his workers was very professional.

It went well. He reported that furnace was in good shape and didn't try to sell me anything else.

The weather started getting warm and the house felt stuffy, as we turned the AC on it didn't start. We called Dennis yesterday evening and he proposed to come the next day at 9 AM; he not only kept his word but he even came 15 min earlier, this allowed us to plan for the day and not to wait a whole day for the repair to be done. He assessed the situation and told us he would get the part, everything went smoothly, he was professional and showed proud of his job, we'll definitely call him again. It's nice to see the name of a company being represented so well!

He was really good. He was fantastic. He is very thorough. He is reasonably priced. He was prompt and friendly. He has a very good work ethic and he is trustworthy and honest.

The first a/c repairman who didn't overcharge for refrigerant. He was honest, very efficient. I will definitely be using him again, and recommending him to family and friends.
