MATTRESS GIANT

Ugh. Horrible. I was treated as though I was an idiot utterly unable to spot a slick sales pitch when I saw one. Suggested I come back with my spouse or partner (I'm single). When I replied as such, it was though he suspected he had a sucker in his midst. When they asked my price range and I told them (I'm willing to spend money for comfort but not take out a second mortgage) the salesman suggested a USED mattress. Then directed me to the no-name bargain basement cheapies. Gave me slick sales pitches like ''I can give you 50% off today, but only today, if you buy today.'' When pressed why the ''bargain'' was only available that day, he gave an irrational explanation for the sale that defied logic. Multiple smarmy sales pitches (only one left! This day only! etc.) 100 times worse than buying a car. I had never felt so talked down to in my life. It was as though they saw a single female and thought SUCKER! Never again.

Pillow loses shape after 30-40 minutes. I wanted refund, since the product was unsatisfactory (I'm back to the feather type) and I had purchased about 10 days ago, used once, for about an hour. But no go. The company is quite cheesy, and has an ironclad return policy. Basically, there is no return possible or a trial period like most bedding stores allow. No luck with the district rep either. Simply don't buy from Mattress Giant, St. Louis, or read the policy first. Unbelievable. Merry Christmas to all others.
