KTM is the ONLY garage door company I would ever use.  My garage door opener which they installed in 1990 is still working.  The springs on my garage door which they installed in 1995 broke shortly before Christmas (2013), so I had them come to the house to repair them. (I keep big item receipts so I have the correct dates.) They use quality products not box store/home improvement products.  Very friendly, family run business.

We highly recommend.  KTM was very nice, affordable, and timely. They originally said they couldn't come out until Friday, but had an technician become available the day I called.  Michael was extremely courteous and explained everything about my new system.  It took about two hours to install my new opener.  I like that they were insured as well. 



BTW - A shout out to Southwest Garage for the referral when their schedule was booked and KTM was closer to my Northwest location. 

The serviceman determined the problem in a short time. (We suspected a broken spring.) He replaced the spring efficiently within 30 -45 min.  It was obvious he knew what he was doing and had a great deal of experience.

I called KTM on Monday morning and explained what I needed.  I was told they could send a technician out late that morning.  He arrived in a timely manner and assessed situation. After explaining the two units available, we chose the upgraded system with the lifetime warranty. He did not have that unit on the truck so called  the office to schedule the installation.  Less than two hours later, two additional men arrived and made quick work of the installation. They were professional, punctual and thorough In explaining operation of the new system.  We will definitely use this company for further needs.

They were very professional, very prompt, and they were very neat when they did the work. They didn't make a mess. We haven't had any issues with the work since they did it.

They came out twice, once was to fix the gate, and the other time was to work on the driveway. This was the first time that we used them. They were very prompt and professional.

Called company on a Thursday, set appt for next day. Tech (Terry) arrived as scheduled on Friday afternoon. He was knowledgeable, friendly, professional. Got right to work, diagnosed problem (which I already knew), replaced the torsion spring and was finished in 30 minutes or less. I was amazed how quickly, yet thoroughly he performed the work! He also sprayed WD-40 on all moving parts, rollers, wheels, etc. He didn't have to do that. The price was exactly what I expected (no more, no less) since I had researched the price of the part and usual price of labor before calling anyone. I would absolutely call KTM again for a garage door problem. I know they do other things too, so if I had a need for one of their other services, I would give them a crack at it.

Everything from the quote to the installation was performed in a very professional manner. The installation for the straps and handles were measured very precisely and look fantastic. The springs were replaced and the garage door works great! I highly recommend this company!

I called this provider on a Sunday thinking I would schedule service for some time during the week. Surprisingly, the owner and his son were able to come over that same day. They arrived just 45 minutes after my first call.
They fixed the problem and performed maintenance. The price was very fair, and he took the time to educate me on what I needed to do to maintain the door in the future.

It went well.  I thought I was going to be told I would need a whole new system but to my delight the service provider told me it was a simple fix.

They were fine and they saved me more money. They told me that they can fix and replace the door for me to save money. They worked very diligently to help me save as much money. They were on time. They communicated well.

Older garage door opener was opening in a random fashion.  I had previously used KTM at another home and was satisfied.  I gave them a call and described the nature of the problem.  I was also able to give them the model number of the existing unit.  The person I takled to on the phone was very knowledgeable.  He gave the opinion that the problem was probabaly a failure on the circuit board of the unit that was causing it to open based on radioo interference in the neighborhood.  With the model number, he was able to determnie that this unit could not be reprogrammed and that replacement circuit boards were not available (too).  I made an appoint for them to insall a replacement opener within a couple of days based on my schedule.
Technichian arrived on time and confirmed the phone diagnosis of the problem.  He had the new uit and installed it quickly with no problems.  Total job took less than 2 hours.  He fully answered all of my questions and cleaed up the job.  All very professional and as promised.
This firm does good work.  They may not be the least expensive alternative - but I have confidence in the quality of their work and I would hire them again if needed.

I contacted KTM for an estimate on service to our driveway security gates.  One of the doors was stuck open with a short to the control motor.  Sight unseen, several companies quoted problems with subterranean wiring, but did not triage the issue.  AJ from KTM came out on 4/2 to do a thorough inspection.  It was suggested that there was an issue with the control open/close limiters.  He took the control arm to the shop for review and repair.
Three days later, AJ returned with the control arm and said it was not much more than a loose connection within the housing, a simple fix.  Additional assessment of our system unveiled the need for a new battery and 2 fuses.  Total bill, was sub-$300.  I strongly endorse KTM for service to security gates.  They are thorough, very responsive and appear to be fairly priced.

Arrived on time and on budget

They had the opener i wanted in stock and came the next day to install. The work was done well. My friend wanted the old opener so the guy gathered up the parts and neatly set it aside in the garage. Things went well.

All services were top notch.  Highly recommend their services.

I got  a quote over the phone and set up an appointment.  On the day of the appointment, the installer called a few minutes before arriving and arrived as scheduled.  The installer was professional and friendly.  He immediately began the job and was finished within an hour or so.  He also mentioned that the rollers on the door were in good shape, but mentioned that he could hear the ball bearings clicking in several of the rollers.  He said I didn't need to replace them, but offered some new ones.  At $4.50 each for 10 rollers I didn't think that was too expensive to get, so I went ahead and had them installed.  I am pleased with how quiet the door is now along with the very quiet door opener.  I would call KTM Door Control again if I need repairs on the garage door.

I've used KTM twice and would definitely use them again. They are always courteous and helpful and very good at explaining the problem in simple terms. After having them repair the motor in my driveway gate twice due to water damage, I had them move it from ground level to the middle of the gate. They did it quite quickly and it works much better now.

After having to get out of my car in a driving rain storm to open my garage door, I finally decided to get it fixed or replaced.  I went to my trusted friend, Angie's List, to find a company to help me out.  KTM Door Control was highly rated so I gave them a call.  I was happy they could get someone out that day!  The tech arrived right around noon and surveyed the situation.  It was determined that the receiver on the old opener was going bad.  Looking at the costs and the age of my old opener, I decided to replace the opener.  I also requested an outside keypad.  He recommended servicing my door as one of my rollers was broken (I was ignoring that).
The quote was about what I was thinking it was going to be so I agreed to move forward.  90 minutes later I had a new opener and a very quiet door.  He spent time with me programming the unit in my car and explained everything thoroughly.  I would definitely recommend KTM Door Control!!!

I checked Angie's list for several garage door opener vendors, and settled on KTM Door Control based on the reviews, and the fact that they are very close to my house.
I arrived at their showroom/warehouse and explained my basic needs, and the sales person handed me a flyer on their topselling most-recommended opener. It's not the most expensive, although it is certainly not cheap. But, this particular unit is band driven (very quiet) and has a life-time warranty on the unit & the band. The next step down is about $50 cheaper, and limited to a 5-year warranty.
The price above was the quoted price for the hardware and the installation.
The technician showed up very promptly and was cleanly dressed. He estimated a 2 hour installation and only took 90 minutes. He was fast and left absolutely no trace that he had been there for the install. He cleaned up everything, including the tiny wire snips from the antenna. He explained the lubrication maintenance etc.
This was a fantastic experience, I and I will use them again should I ever have a need.
