IRL Painting Construction and Remodeling

Terrible! Zach Icenhower the IRL owner was hired to do remediation for removal and prevention of mold growth after the Houston flood in 9/2017. He committed FRAUD. He billed me $4,000 for $400 worth of work. Took advantage of this senior couple at emotional time after the flood with reassurances, and promises. He said he could do all that we asked, and even gave us hugs. Never on time. Did not bring furniture covers, driers and blowers he promised. He is a pleasant guy with good pitch. He lied on what materials he would use and cost. Then lied about labor and cost, and $500 overhead for $400 worth of work. He Could not understand, or wouldn't, the difference between his $0.99/ sq. ft. labor bid and actual manhours expended. He charged me for 30 gal of Microban Spray but used 2-4 gal of less effective Concrobium. Charged for 64 manhours of labor and did two man-hours of spraying and that was terrible so I resprayed myself. I complained about overbilling. First he reduced the price to $3500, I insisted he was cheating me. Then down to $2800. I told him it was fraud. I gave him $2000 out of frustration and stupidity. That's 5 times more than the actual job was worth.
