We have relied on Indoor Air for more than 30 years as have many friends. They respond on a 24/7 basis. Our AC went out in May on a day we were expecting 20 guests for dinner. Indoor located and installed new unit in time for a cool house..

They were very busy but stil got a guy over here within 2 hours of my call because our ceiling was leaking. Greatly appreciated! Don was very courteous and professional and took less than 30 minutes. The $145 charged did not seem unreasonable, but I have no basis for comparison. Apparently, a blocked drainage/condensation hose in attic had overflowed - water was dripping thru cannister light fixtures in ceiling of living room. Technician Don said it was a common problem, no big deal, hose blocked by algae, cleaning the hose would fix it, and it would stop dripping by tomorrow. (Will have to wait and see if it does.) Said to keep our and quot;drip bucketsand quot; in place til tomorrow. Also said the outside draining we saw was proper and all was supposed to be draining outside but couldn't get there due to blockage in ceiling line in attic. Removed AC filters but then would not replace them - said he was too busy today to go get filters (doesn't carry them with him). Also asked him to repair hole in caulking of AC unit where cold air is escaping, but he said he couldn't stick either tape or caulk to it until it had dried out from the leak for a day or so. So I guess we will still have to do those repairs ourselves another time or pay another service charge.

I went with Indoor Air because they gave the most professional estimate from all contractors interviewed, and provided all the services needed, including duct cleaning. These air handlers are particularly tricky because they are in the ceiling of the condo unit, and require quite a bit of maneuvering to remove or install. Other vendors claimed they would have to break through ceiling dry wall to access the units, which would add additional expense. Indoor air managed the job with no damage to ceilings at all. The office staff and service team were all very professional, and did a great job. While not the cheapest option, they did a quality job.

It took about an hour, but he repaired the coil, replaced all the freon and I've been nice and cool for more than two months. I'm glad I went with the cheaper fix. It's bought me some much needed time, and I really appreciate the technician explaining all my options. I have no idea if $350 is a fair price to fix a small hole in a coil... but I do know that it's done the job really well so far.

They are very reasonably priced and efficient. I especially liked that the owner comes out to do the work instead of an employee. I feel the owner is more concerned with customer satisfaction than an employee would be.

The man who owns the company is an old-fashioned great guy and nice person. He will show up 7 o'clock on a Saturday night. He will go out of his way to help you save money on compressors and things like that. Price is for three floors, so its a large system.
