We are very pleased with the company, the installers, and the product.

Jeff with Houston Window Experts was a perfect fit for us and our project. I always look for someone who is honest and trust worthy. His knowledge of the products he sells is huge. He made time to answer all questions we may have had, and dropped by if we needed him to. The project was split into two phases as we were remodeling the house. Both phases only took one day each. The install crew was clean and efficient and I had no problem leaving them in my house. The windows look great and I have already recommended him to friends and family. Jeff and his office manager Angie run a very efficient company. We will definitely use them on our next project.

We were very pleased with Houston Window Experts. There were several products and options to choose from and Jeff was very helpful in choosing the right windows for us. All 19 windows were professionally installed in one day. Everyone was nice to work with and we would highly recommend them.

Working with Jeff and his team at Houston Window Experts was a breath of fresh air after the insanely long 2-hour sales pitch from the salespeople at a competitor, and the bad results we saw from the bargain basement window brand that our neighbor had purchased.
Jeff came and suggested a brand based on our budget and the features we wanted (including certain windows that we wanted to have extra sound-proofing).  Now that it's been 3 months later, I can say that we no longer need a space heater in our master bedroom, and guests no longer hear the road noise in the guest bedroom.
The only "heads-up" that I would give to homeowners is that you need to allow some lead time for this type of project - since the windows were exact-sized to the openings in our home and being directly ordered from the manufacturer, we did have about a 7-week time between when we gave our deposit and signed the paperwork until the installation actually occurred.

I interviewed several providers and Houston Window Experts were by far the most knowledgeable and responsive. Unlike many of the providers I interviewed, these guys really know windows. You can trust them to do the right thing for your needs. Great customer service. The installers were very professional. Excellent follow-up. All questions answered. Highly recommended.

I was very satisfied with my purchase of replacement windows from Houston Window Experts.
The salesman, Jeff Ludy, was willing to schedule our pre-sales meeting in the evening as that was most convenient for us.  It was a very pleasant and informative meeting.  His company sells most common types of replacement windows from a number of companies.  He not only answered all the questions and concerns I had about the type of replacement window I was looking for, but also my questions about how that type of window compared with the other types.  Once I had confirmed the type of window I wanted he helped me choose among the companies that sell them.  He measured the windows I wanted replaced and printed up a proposal.  When we had no more questions he gave me the proposal, some brochures, and his card and left.
Once I decided to buy there were some additional questions and modifications to the proposal.  These were handled efficiently through phone and email.
The installation took one long day.  The crew worked safely and efficiently.  They did a good job protecting the work areas from the mess and cleaning up afterward.  There were a few issues that needed to be dealt with during the installation.  There was a water leak around one of the windows that was replaced.  After removing the old window the installer helped me determine what the problem was before installing the replacement.  Removal of another window exposed some rotted framing that I was able to replace while the installer worked on the other windows.
It is important to remember that installation of replacement windows is only installation, typically leaving the existing window trim in place.  It does not include reworking the trim after installation.  The installers did as good a job sealing and caulking around the windows as could be done with the trim in place.  But for the best results plan on having the windows re-trimmed after installation.  With the trim removed there is far better access for placing sealant and the new trim can be installed tight up against the new window for a cleaner look.

Jeff was phenomenal.  His knowledge, experience, and attention to my needs/wants were immediately apparent.  He was very focused on finding out what I wanted from my windows, what my budget was, and what my timeline was.  His recommendations felt very genuine and I was very impressed by his professionalism and knowledge base.  He showed up on time for our scheduled meeting and was absolutely pleasant and well organized.  He managed to get me a detailed quote in about 15 minutes, including the time he spent measuring the windows!  I was very impressed with him, but we decided to wait on the window replacements for now.  I will definitely be calling him in the future and recommending him to friends!

Two guys came out and they did what they were supposed to and finished the job within half an hour.

They called me back within a day, and then Jeff (the owner) came to our house the next day (in the evening so that both my husband and I could be there) to see what we wanted to have done and make recommendations about which windows he thought would be best. He recommended a Simonton brand window and his bid came in about $800 less than what Home Depot had given us (who we weren't planning to use anyway because of tons of horrible reviews online). Jeff was super nice and didn't pressure us to make a decision right away. |We decided to do it and called him the next day (Saturday). He called back that day, we gave him a 50% deposit, and he said that they would order the windows on Monday and it would take approximately 10 days for them to come in. Then they would call us to set up a day and time for installation. They called the following Wednesday and said that the windows were in and offered to come out on Friday (2 days later). |The 2 guys who did the installation (Andrew and one other guy) were very professional and did a great job. They cleaned up after themselves better than almost any contractor who has been in our house and took all the old windows away to dispose of them. They managed not to break the tile by the kitchen window which we had been concerned about since we didn't have any extra tile. When they were replacing the blinds on one of the windows, the little plastic hook for the top molding broke off so we were not able to replace the molding (although the blinds themselves are up and working fine) but we ourselves have broken off about 5 of those things already when we have messed with the windows so I do not hold this against them at all. We do have to have the alarm company come out and fix the alarm sensors on the windows but were half expecting that also so it is OK. Another bonus was that Andrew also fixed a door that wasn't working properly (we tipped him $40 extra for this) and also improved another door that also wasn't working properly. |I also asked him about some other windows that have been leaking a little bit when it rains hard in the front of the house. At first he thought he could re-caulk them but then said that because they have been recaulked so many times, the old caulk really needs to be removed so that fresh caulk can be applied (otherwise it would not really help). He didn't want to tell me he could fix it and then do something that wouldn't really fix it. He said that they could come back out to do that and that he would talk to Jeff and they would get back to me. They ended up quoting $350 for the work, which we decided to hold off on. |Overall, company has been a pleasure to work with; I would definitely hire them again.

Jeff Ludy was wonderful to work with and Jeremy did a marvelous job installing our new NT patio door. A couple of weeks later while a concrete company was pouring us a new patio they proceeded to break one of the window panes. Jeff was wonderful to help schedule NT to come out and replace this broken window. He even stopped by to assess the damage, making sure nothing else was in need of repair. Highly recommended if you are in need of windows!

At first, I wasn't sure if Window Experts of Houston would be available to install 4 replacement windows in my house because I saw a review on Yelp that said they have a 5-window minimum. So I called to be sure, and they said that this information is not correct (they just get a price break if you order 5 windows or more that can then be passed onto the consumer). He has done wonderful work for me. His name is Jeff Ludy and he does everything. He does really general contracting work and he is great. He has got people to do electrical and brick work. He can do anything I want him to do. He is a general contractor. He is very knowledgeable, very talented and very detail oriented. It is not cheap. He is phenomenal.
