Houston Overhead Garage Doors

The day before door was to be installed a truck arrived with the door panels.  The morning of the installation the old single doors were removed so when the Overhead installer arrived all was ready, and he quickly and efficiently installed the new double door.  It looks great~~a big difference when you have a garage door that is insulated and smooth inside.  The door came painted white, and we painted it brown to match our home.  The installer explained everything about the new door, showed us how well it worked and we are happy with it.  This is a company that takes good care of it's customers.

Garage door arrived, delivered, and installed on time.   The door stop started, intermittently, acting up and would not shut automatically without some manual assistance.  We called Houston Overhead Garage Doors to come back out and take a look.  they said if it was an installation issue it would be covered under warranty.  They came out, gave me some maintenance advice, greased up the door,  and went on there way.  The next day the door started acting up again and they came out the following day and now everything is working quite well.

I really appreciated his explaining to me what the problem was and how to avoid it in the future.

The owner was as nice as he could be but the technician was not nice and not professional.

They were great. Came in a day. Were on time and very quick. Previous repair people had used springs that were too short thus breakage in two years. Highly recommend

Our garage door needed to be replaced. I made a number of calls to talk to different companies listed on Angie's list. Once we decided who we wanted to use, I called them back and set up an appointment.They give you a four hour window of when they will be there. I took a half day of work off to be there. About an hour before they were suppose to be there we received a call saying they could not come but asked to reschedule. They wanted us to wait another week. Since we had already waited a week I told them that was not acceptable. They needed to come out sooner. After going back and forth with them they decided to come out a couple of days later. They were on time and the work was very good. Even though it took a bit to get this done, I would still use them again if needed. If I needed to use them again I would however call them before leaving work to verify they were on schedule and would still be there. If I had done this I may not have needed to take a half day off from work.

The technician was really nice and he diagnosed the problem.  But we ended up using another company to replace our garage door because Overhead Doors wasn’t equipped with it.  We paid a service fee for coming out.

We have been very happy with it. They were responsive and punctual. I would use them again.

They came on time, were professional, cleaned up, and cleaned the outside of the garage door.

They lubricated the track. I found out after they were done, that there were still loose screws and they had not done the balancing of the door. There was also still a popping noise. We called to complain and they came by this morning and presumably fixed the issue. However, they were two and a half hours late. They told us they would call ahead to give us a chance to get ready for them and they never called. They did not finish everything, they only finished what I initially told them to do. There were other things I wanted them to check but I was having breakfast at the time and wasn't watching over them. They did not check in before they left and just took off. We are very unhappy with the service.

I liked that they were courteous and on time. When I called them to set up an appointment, they were able to get me in within a week and I thought that was really fast.
