"To respond to this review, I would like to address the amount first. The price that was paid and was agreed upon was $900 in which was paid in full. No further amount was paid nor requested. We do agree with having a bad batch of refinishing lacquer and agreed to redo this. The lacquer we used came from a different company and we were not aware of this being a bad lacquer. This is something that we did not become aware of until after the fact due to once a lacquer sets it can at that time react differently. Once the agreement was made to redo the table our company was back logged and worked in the redo of this as soon as possible. We also repaired the legs to the table as well free of charge. We did go back and forth on emails, text, and phone calls and notified said customer that we would notify when the table was complete. We now have someone specifically for the office and emails, phone calls, and messages are responded to on a daily basis. Time frames on refinishing vary in case by case and to do a proper and complete job takes time. We definitely do not want to rush these things."
"Hi, As a rebuttal to recent criticism of Griffith Refinishing, this particular customer left her furniture stored with us for almost a year and without a deposit or no charge to her. She claimed on many occasions that the Deposit check was mailed didn't receive that for 8 months. Although her furniture was completed and phone calls were made She wanted us to hold it till she moved to her new home. Once she moved and paid her bill we delivered her furniture, and she wanted more work done. She is now refusing to pay and claiming dissatisfaction of are work. When it was delivered she said it was " Beautiful "! When asked for the remaining balance she insisted on having something redone which we accommodated.. We also offered a discount! That is where we are for now we have tried to please her but she keeps pushing for more concessions and won't settle on a FAIR deal for us all . We Honor Angie's List and find that it is a ridiculous client who wants a lot for nothing. Thank You!"
"Thank You!"
"Hi [Member Name Removed], Sorry you feel this way. First of all you paid only for an estimate fee.The tech was sent out to your home to repair a spot that was damaged by you. He thought he could repair it in home but found it was a wallpaper Photograph finish. He had to bring it back to our shop for repairs . There is a before and after photo of the repair on Facebook. The client never paid for. I think Griffith Refinishing did a "GREAT JOB!" . Please, Let Mr. Tarca know the Tech appreciated the tip that was given. Thank You!
