Dream Bouquet supplied the flowers for my daughter's wedding. We met with Rebekah Graves, the owner, on several occasions & gave her a swatch of the coral fabric we wanted to match. My daughter told Rebekah that she did not want orange flowers. The most prominent flower to be used was a "coral Asiatic lily" that is clearly listed over and over on the invoice. A few weeks prior to the wedding, we asked to see the flowers she planned to use and were told it would either cost an extra $200.00 for her to order samples or that she could take us to the wholesaler. We chose to go to the wholesaler. After traveling all the way to her office, she said that the wholesaler didn't have any lilies. She showed us a flower website on her computer and pointed to a small picture of a lily that she said was coral and would match. She said that the colors on the website were not true and that we needed to trust her, because she was the professional. The shape of the flower she pointed to looked like a lily, she assured us it was coral, and so we agreed assuming it must be the "coral Asiatic lily" on her invoice. The lilies in all the bouquets and arrangements delivered on the wedding day were not coral but instead bright orange. They clashed with the coral bridesmaids' dresses and other wedding decor. Not only did it look awful on the wedding day but now we are left with professional photos that will forever show the glaring clash of colors. Our invoice states that she was to deliver "coral Asiatic lilies" in the bouquets and arrangements. She did not. She also failed to deliver 4 Mozart calla lily boutonnieres for the fathers and the ushers. Her delivery person quickly used white roses provided by a third party & created 4 rose boutonnieres - not what we ordered or paid for. She later insisted that "someone" stole those boutonnieres and so it was not her responsibility. She did not deliver the flowers as specified on her invoice. I feel she should return the money for the bouquets and arrangements that contained the wrong flowers. This amounts to $3,086 out of the total invoice amount of $5,429.69. She has refused to refund any amount or apologize for anything.
