DAVID BROWN FLOWERS

My daughter (living in NYC) sent me flowers from D. Brown. ($125 PLUS delivery fee) I received 2 hydrangeas ($5 retail) stuffed with white berries, garden variety Dusty Miller leaves and 2 other "filler" plants. A $12 "bouquet" I would have passed up at my neighborhood Kroger. This was clearly a case of " the-client-lives-out-of-town and will never see the arrangement -let's -use-what's left-over for this order." I sent photos to the Manager - he blamed "the new girl" along with other excuses but finally agreed the arrangement wasn't worthy of D. Brown and INSISTED they would re-deliver on Monday an arrangement worthy of D. Brown and WORTH the $125 my daughter had paid. (Oh - but they were clear - please RETURN the plain glass vase to them when they re-delivered!!) It is 8 p.m Wednesday evening - not only did they NOT ATTEMPT to re-deliver - they didn't bother to even call.
The facts and the photos speak for themselves. I'm certain the Manager checked and realized I didn't contribute enough business on a regular basis and was not worthy of a re-deliver. Beware anyone planning a special event - this very  scenario could spoil your special day.
