Jese and his helper arrived on time. He explained what needed to be done and did the job. Polite and professional. Did work and did not waste time. Cleaned up before they left. Give them a try.

I cannot say enough about the excellent service that I have received. The company has done several plumbing jobs for me over the last few months. Most recently, after repeated water pipe leaks in my house, Julio suggested extensive replacement of the old galvinized hot water pipes in my 2 story house and said my homeowner's insurance might cover it. My insurance company did cover it. Not only do I now have about 90% of my old hot water pipes and 75% of the cold water pipes replaced with copper, the flow is much better than before.

They looked at all my toilets and suggested I get a Toto Toilet because they are the best. They were very helpful and cleaned up. I was very happy and will call them again when I get the Toto Toilet.

Had an appointment for 9 AM. No show by 10 so when WE had to call to find out why. We were told that an emergency came up that they had to attend to. No problem but they should have called us to report a delay in keeping the appointment. 3PM still no word, called again. They finally showed at 4:30 and gave us an extrememly high estimate for a small job. Main gripe is not showing up until 7 hours past the appointment time with never a call from then. They tied up our whole day waiting.

They had to cut an access hole to get to the bath tub drain, but did a really neat job. Could not find a leak there. Removed the commode and replaced the wax ring, as the old one had a crack and the plumber felt that was where the leak was coming from. They were very professional, showed up on time and cleaned up the mess before they left.

Tub was difficult to access. Chavez plumber could fit where other plumbing companies were going to cut a hole in the bedroom wall and force me to hire a second person to do the wall repairs. Also, Chavez charged me only $450.00. Two other plumbing companies priced me out at:$750.00 & $1200. Chavez plumbing came late after the first appointment due to traffic and I had to leave the house and reschedule. They were very apologetic and showed up on time the second time.

Even though no work was done, I will definitely call this company next time I need a plumber. From the woman who answered the phone to the plumber himself, I was impressed.

It is so refreshing to have consistency as to plumbers coming into our home. Since moving into our new house we had a couple emergencies in our old house and they sent someone out both times that night to address the leaks. This company works to please and are friendly and dependable.

They found the problems within 15 minutes. They took the toilet off and found the plug and got rid of it without having to snake the drain. Everything is working great since. Juanita called 30 minutes before they arrived. It was an emergency call on Saturday morning and she said they were very busy, but they were out within two hours. They were nice and polite. I found them on Angie's List and am very happy with the work by Chavez Plumbing. I'd highly recommend them and am grateful to Angie's List which I'll definitely use as a reference point from now on.

A different plumber looked at the job and doubted that it could be done in the simple way that Chavez Plumbing did it. Infact work was performed very efficiently and when I called to report a few problems (insulation not put back on and hose pipe close to the valve damaged) the plumber went back the next day and sorted things out. They even bought me a new hose.

Terrific. The person that arrived was normal and real and I felt I could trust his assesment and repair.

The plumber was very courtesy and polite. He quoted the job and left to get parts. His office called back and tried to increase the quote by $200.00 because the property management of the condo required a copy of the insurance. I refused to believe that this was correct and requested the owner or office manager to return my call. Thirty minutes later, the office manager called and said she cleared up the misunderstanding with the owner about the insurance certificate and they would still do the job for the price quoted. The owner misunderstood the insurance certificate request and she explained everything to him.

The entire experience with Chavez Plumbing was pleasant. I called on Saturday after having another plumber arrive almost two hours late only to tell me he couldn't get the parts to fix my leak. Mary tried to get someone out on Saturday but because of my schedule it couldn't be arranged. She set it up for Monday and Julio arrived as expected. He even went to the hardware store to get the parts he needed to complete the job. He was neat and fast and the cost was half the amount of the price I received on Saturday which leads me to believe that the other company was going to do a repair that was not needed. I feel Julio was fair and honest. He even took his shoes off before entering the house to keep my floors clean. I would use Chavez Plumbing again in a heartbeat and plan to recommend to all of my friends.

Work took place on two separate days. Chavez Plumbing came out on a Tuesday and gave me a quote of $305.00 before they realized that they were going to have to chip away concrete in order to do the job the right way. The first plumber that came on Tuesday felt that he needed the opinion of his boss as to the best way to do the job and wanted to return the next day. However, because of work I asked them to return on Saturday. On Saturday, a different plumber from Chavez came out and did the necessary work in 2 hours time. Were on time both days. Very courteous and explained work being done. Charged me more than the original quote because of the extra work that became involved. It was a major job and I believe I was reasonably charged. I appreciated them doing the job the right way and not just trying to rig it to work temporarily.

Overall experience was OK in part because of Chavez's mix-ups, in part because of weather. The job was delayed by five days from first promise. Fortunately the house was empty; had I occupied it, I'd have been much more distressed. Work seems to have been done well, except that they made a mess of removing the wood lattice where they had to go through to get under the house. Rather than unscrewing the panel (originally constructed for just this purpose) they buzz-sawed through the middle of it and hacked away at the water-table above it. And did not re-paint. To be fair we were not present to supervise. Otherwise, Juanita was unfailingly pleasant on the telephone, as was Julio when I talked with him. Trusting Angie's List, I did not get other estimates, so do not know if this was a fair price, but suspect it was.

Easy scheduling, servicemen arrived on time. They were friendly, knowledgeable, and quick. The price was less than half what another plumber quoted. Highly recommend.

They came out and told me it wasn't a plumbing problem but an air conditioning problem. They turned off one of the a/c units to avoid damage. They weren't going to charge me since it wasn't a plumbing issue but I gave them a tip anyway. They have fixed a few other things over time, including a garbage disposal and a sink faucet. Those projects were reasonably priced and they were prompt. I have been very pleased with them. I would always call them first!

Chavez' step son (I'm sorry, I forgot his name!) came with another plumber and cleaned out the line in 30 minutes. Was very polite, professional, and helpful. I asked him about fixing the diverter valve (the part that changes the water to the sprayer and back) since it had been sticking. He honestly told me that it would be less expensive to buy a new faucet, and BTW, don't buy a Kohler since those are pretty but don't work well inside. I thought the price was a little high, but then again, I haven't used a plumber in a decade; always did it myself. It was so worth it, though, to have my kitchen and laundry room back so quickly and painlessly. These are people to add to your Rolodex, for sure. Thanks!

Julio came to out to our house on a Saturday to give us an estimate when he had already been working all morning. He was 3 men short that day and still came when he said he would and even agreed to do the work right then. He was extremely friendly, knowledgeable and cleaned up after himself. I will definitely call him again. I will refer him to anyone I know.

After paying about $600 for a section of pipe to be replaced about 1 1/2 years ago, that was leaking again, I was nervous about hiring a plumber again. After reading the reviews on this site, we decided to call Chavez Plumbing. It was a Sunday evening when we called, the workers came out at 9 am Monday. They were polite, clean, and I found the price to be very reasonable, considering I paid much more last time for much lower quality of work (and less that was replaced). I will definitely hire them again next time, and I am recommending them to all our friends and family in the area.

Great. They made two trips to get hardware I needed. They made two trips to the home. They spent about 4 hours on the job not counting buying parts. They bought the correct parts I needed. The price was very fair. They corrected a previous problem caused by another plumber. They fit into my time frame. They were knowledgeable,courteous and polite. Everything works great. Highly reccomend

First person to come, hurt himself on the job ...Mr Chavez came later in the day and finished all the work in record time. Very pleased.

This turned into a three day job, no fault of the plumber. First appointment, polite, on time but their equipment didn't work. Next day a storm blew through and my electricity didn't work. Third day right on time and were able to complete the job. Good communication from office to arrival time. Would use again and recommend.

Communication was good from Juanita. We had scheduled for Wednesday but weather related issued caused other emergencies so Juanita called to re-schedule for Friday. My schedule was flexible and I requested a 15 minute ''head's up'' before the crew arrived at my house so I could meet the crew at my house. Juanita called on Friday to apologize that the crew was already waiting at the house. I dashed out of the office and met them at the house. I was surprised that they didn't have a ladder and we used ours instead. They performed the work quickly and were very pleasant. They offered to clean up after themselves. They wanted to double-check the repair to make certain that they leak had truly stopped after I paid the bill. Good thing since one of their cuts was leaking. They did repair completely and asked Juanita to recommend a drywall service. She faxed this info to my office. Despite the small mis-steps, I was thrilled given past experiences w/other plumbers.
